Born in 18 ABY in the vast expanses of Selonian tunnels beneath Corellia, Artemis Naa held the unique distinction of being a rare fertile female. Unfortunately for her, the incumbent queen was unusually young, and was known for her capricious and jealous temperament. Artemis discovered her own fertility sometime during her training to become one of the famed Selonian warriors, and did her best to conceal it for the good of the den. Artemis ultimately chose to challenge the rule of the queen when her own fertility was finally discovered after taking one of the few males as her own, and there was wonder among the den's inhabitants as to who would ultimately claim the throne. However, all too quickly the incumbent queen took drastic action, and ousted Artemis from the den without a full consensus from its population. Cut off from her small family and forced away from Corellia, Artemis established ties with the Corellian Engineering Corporation and began roaming the Corellian systems, trying to figure out a way that she could reclaim her family and break away from the den. During that time, Artemis discovered that she possessed an affinity for the repair, construction, and modification of droids, and spent the next handful of years working with everything from astromechs to protocol droids and even salvaged battle droids from the Clone Wars. She crossed paths with Adam Bolera during his travels with Master Katherion, and established a friendly working relationship with them through a handful of adventures. Some years later, Artemis was contacted once again by Adam, but this time with an interesting new proposal from a mysterious group: service to Clan Arcona as the newly formed Apex Brigade's droid mechanic, in return for a commitment on Apex's part to reunite Artemis with her estranged family.

Character History
