History
Born on the Farghul homeworld of Farrfin, Vierra had a rough life living on the streets with her younger sister Mirra. They frequently worked as a team to distract and steal for food. When Vierra was 17, her sister, who was 14 at the time, was abducted during the night. Her sister, being the more delicate and lovely of the two, was sold as a slave to a local Death Stick gang.
For 2 years, Vierra searched for Mirra with no fruition. She ended up being captured by a rival gang and forced into illegal races so her owners could get new suppliers and discounts on refilling their stock. However, after a short while supplies stopped coming to Farrfin and they had to look elsewhere for stock.
The gang ended up on a pirate ship and Vierra began to drive the shuttles back and forth between ships. Basically a getaway driver for the, now pirate, gang. As she progressed in skill, she began to earn her place among the pirates and sooner, rather than later, her former owners ended up dying mysteriously. She became one of the favorite women of the pirate leader, Zy Tier.
3 years later, when Vierra was 22, she caught wind of someone fitting the description of her sister. She begged Zy to stage a robbery of the slave ship so she could steal her sister and bring the young woman aboard to work for her freedom. Zy agreed, however things did not work out as planned.
The ship turned out to be an Arconan Cruiser and NOT a slave ship. The Arconans had heard of a pirate ship in the area that had been stealing goods and selling Death sticks in the area. They knew they could lure in the leader by claiming to be a slave selling operation. They used an old clunker of a ship and filled it with Imperial soldiers.
Once on board the group was surrounded, the other pirates were killed, but Zy and Vierra escaped. They were both caught shortly after, but the Arconans had noted the Farghul’s piloting skills and told her that if she served them, she would have her own life and be allowed to search for her sister on shore leave.
Service
A year of training and proving herself she was given to her new Commander, who she was shocked to find was her former Pirate Captain and even more astounding, his son. One of the few people Zy never felt like he had to threaten or kill to get to obey his commands, Vierra was no end of a blessing to him. Ferociously loyal to him and falling in love with his son, she worked hard for both of them and her piloting skills had no end to it’s use.
Appearance
Lean and muscular, as all her race, Vierra was born with a light silver-grey coat instead of the usual reddish-brown. Her eyes were large and vibrant bright green. Her tail has a set of dark grey rings. She has dozens of piercings all the way up her pointed ears and usually dyed the tips a light lavender color when on leave. Zy makes her grow out that color when she gets back on the ship and it’s a dark, steel grey tuft of fur.
Personality
Growing up free, but with nothing, then becoming a slave and working for bare necessities, then becoming a pirate who got what she wanted; Vierra has a very distinct personality. She is very loyal to her superiors, but will turn that loyalty over to the highest bidder if they can get her a better life. She is very serious, but even she manages to laugh when Ryl makes a smart comment. She has a deep affection for Ryl that may even border on love, but would admit it to no one. She is very cold and distant to those who she doesn’t know, perhaps even suspicious of strangers. She also doesn't let too many people get close and spends most of her off time alone and looking for any info on her lost sister.
