Biography
I was born in Dallas, Texas, USA to Ecuadorian immigrants. I have a two younger brothers. I have lived in Dallas (obviously), summers in the Maryland/DC area, Lawton, OK when I was stationed at Ft. Sill in the Army, but mostly lived in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and two years in Brooklyn, NY. Currently I live in the suburbs of Orlando, FL.
I first encountered Star Wars when my mother took me to go see TESB. I don't remember much about the plot or anything, but I did remember being awed by the graphics, the aliens, but mostly the ships. Later on I also saw RotJ when that first came out, but then SW faded from my memory until I caught the Thrawn Trilogy when it was first released. Since then, I've been a rabid fanatic of SW, and I hesitate to think that I've spent thousands of dollars over the years on all sorts of SW-related stuff. Currently I have a heck of a lot of the Expanded Universe books, but I kinda lost interest when the Yuuzhan Vong came into the picture. Also, I don't really follow any of the prequel books. I only have so much money, George Lucas! =D
I joined the DJB I'd say in about 1999, but my official record shows me sometime after the Exodus, due to various reasons. I think I'll be part of the DJB until I die. =)
