Whereas most Sith dream of complete and utter conquest, Harst's dreams are slightly different. When his parents were murdered before his eyes at a young age, Harst watched as the killer was granted mercy by a Jedi Knight and taken to prison. Infuriated that the criminal's life was spared, a young Harst vowed he would avenge their deaths by making complete order in the universe. This order was to be part of a grander scheme, that put everyone under a strict regiment of discipline and control, in which anyone who stepped outside these boundaries would quickly be dealt with and punished.
Harst believes in the rule of law, but wishes to be in control of a complete dictatorship, in order to remove the criminal element by ushering in an error of brutality and iron-fisted will that will keep the populace scared of crossing their leader.
