Tress'kar is the leader of the Saraask'ar Slaver Guild. Ruthless and cruel, he is honor-bound to serve the Ascendant House and is nothing short of a tactical genius. That said, he's also quite hot-headed, but he compensates by being a deadly warrior and a merciless adversary.

History

Tress'kar was born on the stars during the reign of his father, Hssk'osh, and thus had no experience in the conflicts that shaped the slaver guild. Born amid a clutch of eggs, he devoured his brothers and sisters before they were even hatched. From then on, Tress'kar was forced into a cruel world, learning the ways of the T'doshok and the fighting skills of his peers. At first, he struggled, too tall and lanky to master any of his skills properly. While this frustrated him, Hssk'osh decided to nurture this with fury, knowing that one day Tress'kar would be huge and powerful.

It was many years later that the now brilliant tactician and brutal fighter would emerge. With his father returning from a hunt, relatively worn out from battle and the toils of space travel and piracy, Tress’kar made his move. Pouncing on Hssk'osh, Tress’kar ripped the man and his guards to shreds, his vile yellow slits refusing to blink as he committed the dark act.

The rest of Saraas’kar, having woke up the screams coming from the captain's chamber of the Bloodsport, quickly fell in line behind Tress’kar. Fearing the same would happen to them, the obedience of the Guild had never been more in line. With the ascension of the new Guildmaster, a new era of cooperation between Saraask'ar and House Plagueis had begun.

Personality

Tress'kar is ruthless and merciless. He is a brilliant tactician, but is also very hot-headed. Even so, he holds dear the ideals of Trandoshan honor, and respects those who hunt well. This is why he serves House Plagueis; he sees them as great warriors, holders of huge amounts of Jagannath points. Because of this, he is more than happy to fight for the House, though he and his Trandoshans by no means consider themselves servants; they are the only mundanes serving Plagueis that are true allies of the Ascendant House.

That said, he is still a very cruel person. He refuses to show friendship to anyone he does not know, and even amongst those he does know, he will treat them with bitterness unless they have proven themselves worthy. He has a rude demeanor, speaking his mind and being caustic toward all of those around him. While he does have a sense of humor, it is cruel and pointed, much like him, and is quite sarcastic. While these generally make him detestable in most social circles, they make him perfect for being a part of Saraask'ar.

Skills

While all of the Trandoshans in Saraask'ar train from entry to be deadly, Tress'kar is the deadliest. He has trained for his entire life to be a master of hand-to-hand combat, deadly with all manner of vibroweaponry and blunt weapons, and is known to utilize heavy ballistic weaponry like slugthrowers and chainguns. While he can use a blaster, he prefers the gory work of the older and more brutal styles of weaponry

Tress'kar typically clads himself in heavy armor of the sort that would slow a smaller species. To the trandoshan, though, this armor still affords him the mobility to run, jump, and fight with speed and agility. He can do so for hours, and is an exquisite specimen amongst his own kind. In addition, his relatively young age makes him that much deadlier, as he does not feel the aches and pangs of older warriors; trained from hatching, he lacks in no skills and has plenty of experience.

Tress'kar has a working knowledge of spaceships, and can operate them deftly and with great skill. That said, he is completely ignorant of their workings, as well as the workings of blasters and droids - higher technology that he considers weak and feeble. Of all technology, only one example impresses him, this being the lightsaber; it is Tress'kar's secret ambition to either learn how to build and wield one or have a member of Saraask'ar who can. While his associate, Ghaarm, was a Jedi in his youth, the elder is now far too old, crippled, blind, and feeble to remember half of a saber's secrets, much less hold one again. As such, the leader of the guild is allied with the Plagueians for yet another shadowy objective - his secret hope of mastering the Jedi Arts.
