Octavius Golgotha is a young, impressionable, undisciplined Mercenary Yeoman serving the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and more specifically Clan Scholae Palatinae inside of House Excidium. Among some of the first births on Judecca after its colonization by Scholae Palatinae, Octavius has sought the approval and acceptance of the Clan's masters since a young age. Without the proper training of the Force, he was forced to achieve that acknowledgement by other means.
Character History
Origin
Among the first wave of Brotherhood immigrants to Judecca were Leon and Jamie Golgotha. They were among some of the first to set up their shops in the city of Tailyon. Not long after their arrival Bethany gave birth to their son Octavius who was named after Imperial Grand Admiral Octavian Grant.
As loyal citizens of Judecca and as god-fearing people, Leon and Jamie taught Octavius to respect and fear the Brotherhood and more specifically the clan overseeing them, Clan Scholae Palatinae. He went one further and sought joining their numbers to command the same fear and respect.
Adolescence
At the tender young age of twelve Octavius moved from Tailyon to their nearby sister city of Lyon. Although it was for business purposes for his father Leon, Octavius enjoyed it much more in Lyon.
Octavius has never been one to sit around inside and often found himself wanting to be playing out in the mud and dirt since he was born. Lyon offered him just that with their dense forests and mines, although essentially being the export center of Judecca the local government and police were much stricter about a child trying to play in those areas.
From age thirteen to seventeen Octavius was escorted home by the police well over a dozen times for sneaking into their mines and lumberyards to play or hunt his game. This caused a strain on his family that is still noticeable to this day. Octavius was stubborn and hot-headed just like his father and because of this he has always had a closer connection with his mother and when Octavius was escorted home it only distanced him more and more with his father and caused a bit of a rift between Leon and Jamie themselves.
Joining Scholae Palatinae
At the age of seventeen, Golgotha joined Clan Scholae Palatinae’s milita where he served for the next few years before being honorably discharged due to an injury. At the age of twenty-two he was employed by the clan directly as a mercenary to carry out some of their more personal missions working alongside the clan he long desired to join.
Physical Description
Octavius is a physically average young man who is more noticed by his scar on his cheek than anything else. He received it during his service to Clan Scholae Palatinae’s militia on Judecca when defending against raiding pirates. The scar is a bit of a tender subject for Octavius as it’s what lead to him being discharged from service but ultimately worked to his advantage as he was employed directly by the clan as a mercenary.

- Hates staying indoors and any activity that keeps him indoors.
