Tarentum team article

Nfolgai’s history is steeped in the Dark Side, from its origins as a tomb world used by the Ancient Sith Empire, to its present state of abandonment. This world, once renowned as a burial site of Sith Lords, now serves as a home for the various savage tribes of Mrlssi and Draethos, driven purely by instinct and base urges, due to the heavy Dark Side influence of this world.

Astrocartography

The Nfolgai system lies within the Sith Worlds region of the Esstran Sector, located in the Outer Rim Territories.

Nfolgai can be accessed by taking the Nache Bhelfa hyperlane loop to Athiss or Ziost, then entering the Descri Wris hyperlane to reach Nfolgai. However it should be noted, that this area is within Sith Space and behind the Stygian Caldera, thus hyperspace travel into the region is relatively simple, however exiting the area is extremely difficult.

The Nfolgai system contains the single arid planet of Nfolgai, orbiting the star of the same name. Surrounding this small system is a widely dispersed asteroid field that is easily navigable, it is theorized that there was simply not enough matter to form any other celestial bodies, thus leaving this system very sparse.

Brief History

Nfolgai was never one of the major political worlds of the Sith Empire, though had the Jedi known more about it, they might have sought to destroy it. Nfolgai's location made it a prime tomb planet. Many such structures were built on the planet, the most impressive of which is the Mausoleum of Sorzus Syn, even though the ancient Sith may not even be buried there. While many of the tombs are no longer visible from space, many speculate that the mountainous northern hemisphere and jungle-ridden southern hemisphere could easily hide such structures.

After the fall of the Sith Empire, Nfolgai was all but forgotten. The defeated Sith, having retreated to depths unknown, left the planet unattended. This allowed the previously enslaved populations to take control of the planet. To some extent, the various groups carved out their own regions, though many speculate that there was conflict between the species, and even within the same group. The natural dark side aura of the planet corrupted those who lived on the planet. Though the exact number of tombs is unknown at this time, it is known that such structures can contribute to the corruption of the planet.

In the present day, the One Sith has sought to regain control of Nfolgai and the treasures it likely possesses.

Geography & Landmarks

Interdictor-Class Destroyer

Nfolgai is somewhat unusual in its geography; despite being classified as a barren and mountainous world, which comprises much of the surface, there are large swaths of dense jungle. This is likely the result of the Dark Side influence emanating from the Ancient Sith tombs, twisting and promoting growth of the indigenous plant life throughout the planet. The suspected focal point of these energies is the Mausoleum of Sorzus Syn, carved out of the side of a mountain which is itself surrounded by some of the densest jungle on the planet.

As a reminder: all those who wish visit such places should be extremely cautious, as the spirits of powerful Sith often linger well beyond the decay of their flesh and are often extremely dangerous.

Sorzus Syn

The planet’s Polar regions are covered in water ice, and remain unremarkable with the exception large amounts of starship wreckage, strewn across the northern pole, likely the result of a space battle in close orbit to the planet, rather than any sort of anomaly. However what should be of note, is the intact and buried wreckage of an Interdictor-Class destroyer, which its registry name identifies it as The Render.

Notable Persons

Yobd Nan

A Duros Sith Lord trained by Darth Krayt. Previously raised to a privileged life on Duros, he came to the attention of Darth Kryat through his rapid rise in ranks, by use of cutthroat tactics, within the mining firm Industrial Technologies. Once confirmed to have a strong connection to the Force, Kryat then took the Duros to Korriban to be trained in the ways of the Sith.

After attaining the title of Sith Lord within the One Sith, he was granted leadership of the incursion into Nfolgai. Determined to find a bounty worthy of elevating his status in the eyes of his master and to increase the power of the One Sith, he has set his sights upon the Mausoleum of Sorzus Syn.

Those who seek him out, should be aware of his unusual fighting style, wielding both lightsaber and blaster simultaneously and with great proficiency, he is a formidable opponent. However, intelligence suggests Yobd Nan, was also trained in several Dathomeri arts, and is often seen with two to three Dathomeri Hunters, armed with the deadly Energy Bow.
