Khro is a Nagai demolitionist, saboteur, and Force-sensitive mercenary affiliated with the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Renowned for his unpredictable tactics and complete disregard for traditional martial dogmas, Khro operates out of his heavily modified transport, The Rotten Mynock.
Character History
Early Life
Born into a respectable family within Nagi’s martial caste, Khro was afforded every privilege of traditional Nagai upbringing. Blessed with superior speed, razor-sharp reflexes, and natural grace, he was expected to excel as a master duelist and honorable warrior.
However, Khro found the rigid decorum, stoicism, intricate honor codes, and endless hours of martial training of Nagai society utterly suffocating. While his peers spent years perfecting singular sword strikes, Khro channeled his kinetic intellect into testing local security systems, rewiring training equipment, and analyzing the structural integrity of local academies. Viewing the stoic posturing of his superiors as high comedy, Khro eventually departed Nagi, not out of exiled disgrace or grief, but to escape the sheer monotony of home.
As Khro traveled the Outer Rim, his talents eventually caught the eye of Dark Jedi scholars and Sith recruiters seeking to mold him into an assassin. Khro absorbed their instruction, learning to channel raw emotion and aggression to manipulate his environment, but found Sith grandiosity as absurd as Nagai honor codes. Lectures regarding "galactic dominion" and "the inherent order of the Dark Side" were met with stifled laughter. After taking what knowledge he needed, Khro abandoned his trainers, treating their sacred philosophies as little more than useful party tricks.

Physical Description
Standing tall with the lean, wire-thin frame characteristic of the Nagai, Khro is defined by a striking, high-contrast palette. His skin is a stark, porcelain white, taut over high, sharp cheekbones and an angular jawline. His eyes are a red-orange, intense, beneath heavy, subtle brows. Moving away from the long, fluid hair common among Nagai warriors, Khro wears a tight undercut: the sides and back are shaved down to short, pale stubble, while the longer, pitch-black hair on top is kept swept neatly back over his crown. His posture is relaxed and fluid, which sits in sharp contrast to his cold, pale features.
Attire
Khro’s outfit is a distinct mix of frayed, tailored luxury and raw industrial wear.
- The Duster: A heavy, double-breasted coat made of dark navy-blue fabric with an oversized, structured collar that stands up high around his neck. The coat’s original fine stitching is ruined, the hem is raggedly frayed, the cuffs are stained with grease, and the fabric across the shoulders and lower back is marked by faded chemical stains and dark scorch marks. A pristine, pale-yellow pocket square sits tucked into the left breast pocket, an intentionally absurd remnant of formal dress.
- Shirt & Pants: Beneath the coat, he wears a charcoal-gray dress shirt with the top few buttons left undone, spilling over a dark, unadorned collarline. His trousers are dark slate, tailored flat-front pants that show heavy wear, complete with coarse, hand-stitched patches sewn in various locations
- Gauntlets & Footwear: His handwear is completely mismatched. On his right hand, he wears a simple, black fingerless leather glove that leaves his pale fingers exposed. His left arm is wrapped in a heavy, forearm-length welder's gauntlet made of thick, scorched brown leather with flared cuffs and brass-buckled straps. He wears high, heavy-duty black leather boots with scuffed toes and reinforced durasteel that covers the toes.
- Belts & Rigging: Wrapped around his waist is a layered set of worn brown leather belts. The main belt carries a heavy metal buckle, a low-slung holster rig on his left hip housing the silver-and-black hilt of his lightsaber, and a thick coil of copper wire, fuse wire, and blasting caps hanging from brass carabiners on his right side.
Weapons and Equipment
Khro’s lightsaber is less a weapon of a Dark Jedi and more a piece of shrapnel that survived. Originally a sleek dueling hilt, the gunmetal frame is deeply scarred, pitted with chemical corrosion, and scorched near the emitter; half the casing has been gouged away entirely to expose the internal wiring. It is held together by yellowed industrial resin, copper ties, and peeling mechanic’s tape that barely covers the humming power cell. The ignition is a crude, salvaged toggle switch welded crookedly to the hilt, sparking violently whenever flipped. It ignites (most of the time) with a jagged red-orange blade that crackles with static and constantly vents hot plasma from the exposed internals. Rattling with loose parts and smells faintly of ozone and burning insulation.
He carries a Tostovin Munitions Micro-Grenade Launcher that has seen better days itself. Scratches and dents mar its stock and barrel. The paint is chipped in places, and you can tell it needs a good cleaning. Loaded with Dioxis grenades, this weapon is a war crime on most planets.
Paired up with it is the Q-1041 Plasma Cutter, an extremely powerful two-handed molecular torch manufactured by Borallis M&M that uses a high-energy quantum-kerf ray to cut into nearly anything. Primarily used to get into places he shouldn't, Khro isn't against using it on enemies if need be.
He carries various explosives depending on the situation. Anything and everything he can get his hands on is stocked in his ship, and he isn't against purchasing, stealing, or borrowing what he needs for maximum destruction.
