Colyn Skybender is one of the bravest soldiers, willing to finish his job at any cost.

Biography

Early Life (9 - 20 ABY)

Colyn’s was raised on Bestine IV by his parents Lara, and Antar Skybender who were both soldiers. Colyn never referred to his parents as Dad or Mom, it was always Sir, or Ma’am. He was raised to respect his elders and to always present himself with respect and humility. His parents were often called off to duty, Colyn learned to raise himself and fend for the things he needed. Unsurprisingly Colyn enlisted in the Army at age 18. Colyn started basic training with a chip on his shoulder from the large shadow cast by his parents. Feeling the need to succeed and prove his worth to his parents, he trained every waking hour of the day.

Next Stage (21 - 30 ABY)

Colyn grew cold to death. Death was all around him friends, family, enemies it was all he knew. Colyn seemed unmoved at his own father’s funeral. He stood there cold, staring, as if he wasn’t really there. Almost as if he didn’t believe it happened, but he knew it did, he was there when he died, his own father died in his arms. That’s when Colyn broke, he no longer had a human element. He finally became the perfect soldier obedient, tough, disconnected. Racing through ranks, and completing missions Colyn became one of the Army’s greatest resources. They would send Colyn on any mission that might cause the average soldier to rethink from a moral stance. Colyn was their closer, he knew what it took to finish the job.

Physical Appearance

When looking at Colyn "Tusken" Skybender, you see every inch the career soldier he is. Skybender's face is extremely aged and weathered, his skin taking on the leathery look of someone who has spent too much time making a life in more rugged environments. The size and set of his shoulders betray that this is a man who has worked hard through his life.

His slate grey eyes seem to be constantly squinted against the sunlight, whether he is in a bright room or in full darkness, and they possess the quality of a bird of prey, always moving and evaluating weakness. His closely cropped black hair is starting to pepper through with grey here and there, and is beginning to noticeably recede upon the crown of his head.

While he is normally seen wearing the standard issue uniform of the Iron Throne's armed forces, when off-duty he favours light colours, reminiscent of his home world's palette, Bestine IV. Colyn keeps a lightsaber clipped to his belt, a blaster pistol in a holster opposite it, and a blaster rifle slung over his back.
