For eons of dark worship to shadows and false gods, the Abyssal Tome was created on a relatively unknown planet; Nalasara Prime. There it was hidden until DJM Malachai sought it out to utilize its power for the destruction of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

Fate intervened and Arcona became aware of the antagonists' goals in this rather short story. They dispatched forces to thwart Malachai and to retrieve the Tome. From that moment on, with the research and practice performed by each and every Consul, the art of Shadowcrafting was born unto Arcona and passed on through generations. There each and every Arconan armed themselves with shadows.

As time passed and the arts died out, a new array of Force Powers was bestowed upon each of the clans by the Grand Master Muz Ashen and the structure of the clan based Force powers were revised.

Force Techniques

"Light is limited;
Darkness is infinite.
"
―Arconas motto

As The Great Ninth Jedi War came to a head, the Grand Master Muz Ashen bestowed upon each Clan the choice of their next intricate Clan Powers. These were the choices made and embraced by Arcona:

Force Wraith

"Do you like my Wookiees? They make such wonderful slaves!"
―Merili
Niles Ferriers Wraith

A quote made famous by former Emperors Eye; Merili. Her Wraiths were such that she had under her control an entire population of Wookies and kept them in line by sheer fear. Wraiths: swirling, transient beings created by the users image are monsters; if monsters can be thought to exist.

Force Wraith are made from the sheer power of the dark side and are therefore unaffected by any physical means. They may interact with the world around them at their choice but may only be attacked by the force, making them indomitable opponents.

First Tier (DJK): The user can create one Force Wraith. The Force Wraith may only be a maximum of the users form and at this level requires a few minutes of concentration to create. To command the Wraith the user must use verbal commands.

Second Tier (Equites): The user can create 3 Force Wraith. The Force Wraith must still be of equal sizing but this 'maximum volume' of each Force Wraith may be transferred, depending on the chosen form. At this level they require tens of seconds to create. The senses may be shared with the Wraith at the users discretion, although this can take a lot of concentration and can wear out the user quickly. The Wraith may be commanded with thought.

Third Tier (Elders): The user can create up to 5 Force Wraith. At this level the Wraith may be completely transferred to one to form rancor sized creatures. However, this would use up all 4 other Wraithes when using the 'maximum volume' of each Wraith and would limit capabilities. Creation time is a matter of seconds. The commands turn to control and the Wraith become almost like puppets to the user. The control is instantaneous, thorough and precise.

(All Force Wraiths have chosen forms that may not be changed. Please submit an email to your rollmaster with a brief name and description before usage.)

Operating mechanics of the Force Power

Due to the confusion regarding the mechanics of the Arconan Clan Force power: Force Wraiths, this article has been created to explain the workings by the ACC. Now there are subject to the following rules.

Rules

1) Force Wraiths are roughly the same every time. As parts of your personality, Wraiths are supposed to reflect a part of you. They reflect something deep and dark and twisted that lurks in the soul of every man...except that Arconans can summon forth these creatures and turn that darkness on others, as well. As such, they’re supposed to be roughly the same every time they summon. You can have variations (as many as there are creatures you can summon), but those variations will be the same every time.

2) If you do have Wraiths, it’s not entirely fair for your opponent to have to scour your previous battles to find them. As such, every Arconan should maintain a description on their Wiki page, detailing their Wraiths (and mind you, they should be awesome ones). The Character Sheet, in turn, should maintain a link to the Wiki Page (this setup was picked so that description of the Wraiths does not double or triple Character Sheet description pages).

Interaction with the Force Wraiths

3) As a final note, here’s something on the strengths and weaknesses of the Wraiths. Much, in particular, has been made of the Wraiths’ ability to ignore most mundane sources of damage. They are, for lack of a better word, ghosts. Shrapnel, blaster bolts, even lightsaber blades fail to interact with them. They move through them as if they did not exist because in a very real sense, Force Wraiths don’t exist in a conventional manner.

4) However, this does not mean they cannot be harmed. First, Wraiths interact with living matter. It is, after all, how they harm their summoners’ enemies. But the ability to touch flesh means the ability to be touched by same: A bare-handed punch will at the very least disorient a Wraith. Being made of something that is not quite matter, it likely cannot destroy them...but it can distract them and possibly set them up for something more final.

5) The Force is even more of a threat. Wraiths are made out of the ephemeral energies of the Dark Side, and they can be banished by energies just as such. Strike and Obliterate are both highly effective on them. While Wraiths have no mind to speak of (being controlled completely by their creator) and as such cannot be affected that way unless their creator is as well, they are extremely vulnerable to dispersion by powers like Harm and Slow and other more ‘physical’ powers like Shock or Lightning.

6) Finally, the Wraiths depend on their creator for existence. Depending on the defender’s Wisdom, a sufficiently potent distraction can remove them entirely.

Blood Trail

"This planet resonates with the dark side of the Force."
―Urai Fen
A Nightsister of Dathomir

This force technique was developed by the Nightsisters of Dathomir, great huntresses and sorceress that stalked their enemies. With a natural knowledge of the Force they were formidable against any and all opponents.

This force technique was used by the Sisterhood as a form of keeping tabs on their targets (most likely to be slaves) so that if they escaped they could be found very easily. Another benefit was that once the marked one was being trailed, the mark could not be removed.

When this technique is used, whatever original color of the users blood that is used in this technique will become a translucent grey when activated on the target.

First Tier (DJK): Intentional distance. Can combo with Journeyman level sense force abilities. Requires standstill and complete concentration.

Second Tier (Equites): Planetary distance. Can combo with Equite level sense force abilities. Requires focus but less concentration.

Third Tier (Elders): Galaxy distance. Can combo with Elder level sense force abilities. Can be used with a thought and requires brief focus and concetration.
