Tiamath is a former Emperor's Hammer Navy TIE pilot and a Outer Rim mercenary. In the year 35 ABY Tiamath joined Dark Jedi Brotherhood. He currently holds the rank of Jedi Hunter in Independent House Revan.

Character History

Temporary timeline:

Early Years

10 BBY - Born on Talus

8 ABY - Became a test pilot at one of the Talus shipyards

In the year 20 ABY Tiamath left his homeworld of Talus and moved to Aurora Prime in order to study at the Imperial Academy.

Emperor's Hammer

After one year of rigorous training at the Imperial Academy in Aurora Prime, Tiamath obtained his Cadet rank and was relocated to M/PLT Daedalus in Phare system, where he could finally test his flight skills outside the simulator.

In the year 21 ABY Tiamath joined Emperor's Hammer Navy as a full-time pilot and signed a 5-year contract at a rank of Lieutenant. He was assigned to Vortex Squadron, which was part of Wing XIII stationed aboard the ISD Grey Wolf. For several years Tiamath served under command of Commodore Sarin, who years later became a Grand Master of Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

In the year 24 ABY, as his skills grew and combat record filled, Tiamath drew attention of a former leader of Tau Squadron, who desribed him as "Force-sensitive". Soon after, he was introduced to his new Master (who's name is long gone from his memories) and began to train in the ways of the Force.

Year 25 ABY was the turning point for Tiamath's Navy career. As he saw many great pilots depart from the Fleet, some missing in action, some retiring with noone to take their place, he felt the emptiness and a lack of motivation to keep fighting and fulfill commanders orders. At the rank of the Captain, Tiamath decided it was time to move on.

As his contract came to an end, Tiamath handled his resignation to his Commodore and abandoned his Master. In the year 26 ABY Tiamath left Emperor's hammer Navy and moved back his homeworld to start a new chapter of his life.

Guns For Hire

Tiamath moved back to Talus and got himself a job as a pilot in one of the local trade companies. Assigned as a co-pilot to YT-2000 freighter, callsign: Bandit-66, he made several cargo runs through Hutt Space and Outer Rim. In between the runs, Tiamath earned some additional credits as a flight instructor for company applicants.

In a couple of months, Tiamath felt that things were going to slow for his liking. In a radical step to bring some action back to his life, he quit his job, took out a large part of his savings and became an owner of a used E-wing escort starfighter. He offered his services to the Hutts and started his career as a mercenary pilot in the Outer Rim. Tiamath was hired primarily to escort transport ships, Hutt's emmisaries and recapture stolen goods. He built up his reputation as a "guy-who-gets-the-job-done" and managed to secure a steady income. It all changed in the year 34 ABY.

In the late 34 ABY, Tiamath was hired by the Hutts, to take part in an escort mission. The goal was to deliver a freighter full of some precious cargo safelly to the Hutt Space. The freighter was said to carry some illegal weapons and substances, which seemed like an everyday job in the Outer Rim. The rumor was however, that one the crates carried a powerful artifact of unknown origin.

While passing through the Kessel system, the convoy was brought out of hyperspace and ambushed by the New Republic carrier cruiser and several starfighters, led by an unknown Jedi. Whole mercenary group engaged the enemy and bought the Hutt freighter enough time to escape and re-enter hyperspace.

During the engagement Tiamath was shot down and crash landed on Kessel. Having his life support system and his flightsuit mostly intact, he managed to sneakily board a starship docked at one of the mining facilities. Hidden in a cargo compartment, he flew with the ship to Tatooine.

Katharsis on Tatooine

When the ship finally reached it's destination, Tiamath sneakily left the docking bay and found himself in the middle of Mos Eisley. At the time the city felt like a perfect place to go into hiding for a while, calm down and set some new goals. There was plenty of bars, plenty of liquor - excatly what he needed at the moment.

All these years spent in flight training, combat simulations and real space combat could not save him from one single Jedi flying a sub-par starfighter. Tiamath felt guilty that he abandoned his Master, in the middle of his journey toward the Force. He had a chance to obtain power availble only to a few and he blew it.

(...)

There was a place called Dark Jedi Brotherhood he heard stories of. He knew that some of his former Emperor's Hammer comrades went to the Antei system to seek knowledge and power. Most of them he never saw again, some others he met during the past years in various places. They told him stories of power, Dark Side of the Force, powerful artifacts and endless possibilities.

(...)

All he knew were the coordinates for Antei system and all he needed was a ship. Somewhere in the middle of 34 ABY, Tiamath left Tatooine in a stolen starfighter and went straight for Antei.

He flew subconsciously into the Shroud and passed out. Tiamath's starfighter drifted through the Shroud for several days. When it eventually got caught by Salas V gravity field and went into it's orbit, it was intercepted by one of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood vessels.

Late 35 ABY - Joined Dark Jedi Brotherhood to complete his Force training as an apprientice of Fremoc Pepoi Sadow.

Character Information

Physical Appearance

Height: 1.80m, weight: 75kg. Wide shoulders and a slim waist. Several tattoos on the back and shoulders. Most of the time he's found wearing TIE pilot flightsuit or his old black duty uniform stripped from all Navy insignias. He usually carries a DH-17 blaster pistol strapped to his leg.

Combat Skills

In hand-to-hand combat Tiamath fights using Jakelian style, which he was taught in the Imperial Academy on Aurora Prime. In order to study it, Tiamath also took several classes of Broken Gate and Hapan, but abandoned those right after his acceptance to Jakelian class.

After initial training classes and Tiamath's decision to join Imperial Navy, he decided (since pilots do not carry advanced melee weaponry on duty) to focus on hand-to-hand and combat knife fighting skills. He also received teachings in improvised weaponry.

During his first month in the Brotherhood, Tiamath became a member of the First Echelon of the Grand Master's Royal Guard. This is where he first learned about Echani style and decided to study some of its basic concepts.

Possessions

Tiamath's talisman

Tiamath is usually seen carrying a DH-17 blaster pistol and combat knife. Those two served him for almost a decade and seen plenty of combat. The blaster itself is showing some distinct wear marks, barely holds together anymore, but Tiamath tries to prolong it's lifespan by any means, including hour-long junkyard scrapdiving.

In the year 31 ABY, during one of the missions, Tiamath was part of the team that intercepted and captured a transport freighter full of cargo stolen from the Hutts. Several cargo crates of equipment were recovered and placed in a remote hideout. During some further inspection Tiamath found out, that one of the crates was holding some mining equipment from GasDiver Mining station. His attention was drawn towards the Corusca crystal drill bit. Tiamath decided to keep the crystal as a form of a talisman, as he felt a strange, eerie connection with it.

If such need arises, Tiamath always finds his way to one of his secret weapon stashes, hidden in several locations scattered around the Outer Rim back in 28 ABY. Those usually contain a sidearm, a rifle, ammo clips, change of clothes, tools (repair kit, night goggles, communication device, compass etc.) and some credits.
