Outside of the Clan Systems, additional planets are normally awarded/approved by the GM/DGM.  So unless this planet had been previously awarded to CNS, it can't really be called one of their "assets".  Thanks --Halcyon 19:57, 6 November 2007 (MST)
Kangaras:

Last year we let clans start expanding their presence into other systems after a couple of the consuls asked about it. They weren't allowed to go nuts creating fully developed second paradises (we don't need anymore crazy ninja worlds :P) but we figured small outposts and stuff on nearby worlds were fair enough to allow after five or six fictional years. --Xanos 07:17, 7 November 2007 (MST)
Clans have the ability to create planets for fictional purposes to help their storyline.  These planets allow avenues of approach that can be explored for years to come.

Ok, thanks for that. I guess the ability to win planets/systems isn't worthwhile anymore than as well.  Never knew about this before, but I think all Clans can then benefit from it --Halcyon 10:08, 7 November 2007 (MST)
However

Funny I don't remember this at all? The Clans did move their "actual" systems across the galaxy to better locations, but we never just started expanding to new planets and systems at will. The only additions that I know of are the system from the Rite of Supremacy and mining rights on a planet for the winning Clan in a Muz hosted even called the Seven Day War. While I can see having some small outposts here and there, but where was this talk from many Consuls last year?--Duga Taldrya Arkarso 13:03, 7 November 2007 (MST)
We do not add Clan created planets to a Clan's Dominion or list them as property of a Clan.  This is the same as not allowing a member's privately owned fighter to be listed on a Clan's OOB.

Note I said "after a couple of consuls" asked about it, it was never a big discussion with the whole Dark Council, no. I had actually thought Taldryan was one of the clans who had brought it up but I guess it can't have been then. Not sure who it was though as Kangaras came up after the original case. --Xanos 15:58, 7 November 2007 (MST)
So....Kangaras can exist in the realm of fiction, but it cannot be listed as a CNS asset or on the CNS planet list. If you have questions, email me.
*Oh, one last point, it wasn't ever "at will", no. I sure as hell wouldn't have let consuls just go creating things without approval :P It was only when someone actually came along saying "hey, we want to add a new outpost called <blah>". Maybe it was Arcona or Plagueis or something, it was back before GJW7 though so I can't remember much beyond "some consul asking if they could create an outpost in a new system". I don't think it was Tarentum or CSP as I can't recall ever having the discussion with BF or Braecen though I may be mistaken. *shrugs* --Xanos 16:33, 7 November 2007 (MST)

This is the policy for all Clan created planets from this point forward. So make sure we enforce it elsewhere. --Sarin 19:13, 7 November 2007 (MST)

Kangaras:

Clans have the ability to create planets for fictional purposes to help their storyline. These planets allow avenues of approach that can be explored for years to come.

However

We do not add Clan created planets to a Clan's Dominion or list them as property of a Clan. This is the same as not allowing a member's privately owned fighter to be listed on a Clan's OOB.

So....Kangaras can exist in the realm of fiction, but it cannot be listed as a CNS asset or on the CNS planet list. If you have questions, email me.

This is the policy for all Clan created planets from this point forward. So make sure we enforce it elsewhere. --Sarin 19:13, 7 November 2007 (MST)
