In the basement, the kitchen and storeroom are built. The kitchen takes up around a third of the floor with most of its appliances along the side with the stairs that lead up to the eating area, and work surfaces along the opposite wall. Everything inside this room is grey, silver or black and is specifically catered to for Caliburnus' needs. Opposite the stairs leading from the ground floor, there is another door, leading to the general storeroom which holds all food and alcohol and for the last third; there is another wall, with a vault like door. This leads to the infamous rum stash of Rasilvenaira and Xathia, and these two are the sole individuals that can access the store.
The basement level is largely taken up by the kitchen with the shorter branch of the L shaped building being arranged to hold the various appliances and storage for the preparation of the food served at the Cantina. There is a stairway and lift at the central corner of the L which allows for easy movement of the food and beverages to the rest of the Cantina.

The longer portion of the L is devoted largely to the vast amount of storage needed to keep the necessary stock for the busy Cantina. The final store room at the very end of the L is protected by a vault door with very tight security. Only two people are allowed access to this store room which houses the large stock of rum and other assorted favorites of former Quaestor Rasilvenaira StormRaven and her pet Krath, Xathia.

The first floor has a large door located in the shorter end of the 'L' which is the main entrance to the building. The grey stone walls are decorated with the banners of the orders, and with the Caliburnus and Scholae Palatinae logos, along with the colors of the orders. A bar and serving area is located along the longest wall, with a wide array of alcoholic bottles located behind it and has four long tables and chairs arranged near by. At the opposite end from the entrance there is a gathering of small tables and chairs for those who wish to have a drink but not necessarily on the top floor. The stairs leading to both the top and bottom floors are located in the far corner. Around the outside of the building is an extended patio area for those who wish to enjoy the weather on nice days.
The main entrance into the Cantina is located along the front side of the shorter branch of the L shaped building. Upon entering one is greeted by banners displaying the House and Clan crests, as well as other banners displaying the colors of the three orders. Being the Sith House however, the predominating color scheme for the Cantina is various shades of crimson, grey, and black. The room is comfortably decorated with tables and chairs to accommodate its patrons. Along one wall are more private booths for those who wish to use them.

The central corner of the L contains a lift and stairway to allow patrons to reach the second floor, and for the staff to bring up food and beverages from the lower level. Across from the lift and stairway, forming an arch around the other side of the L’s corner is a stage where musicians can perform and be seen and heard by most of the patrons within the cantina.

Along the northern side of the longer arm of the L is the bar itself, constantly busy providing for the members of House Caliburnus. Tables are situated along the room as well, but there are several sliding glass doors that open out to the patio that runs along the front of the Cantina allowing patrons to enjoy their drinks and meals outside when the weather is good.

The second floor decorations are similar to the first floor, as the stairs immediately lead into a bar. The room is littered generously with wooden chairs and tables, many of which are joined together, to allow for numerous dancers and members to dance over them. These are all located around the dance floor which is in the centre of the room, and various games tables surround the edge of the room. The bar itself, is located along the majority of the left wall with a pulley lift located amongst the assortment of alcoholic drinks to save staff from traipsing up and down the stairs, and wasting alcohol due to drunken members. The door near to the bar, leads through to an outdoor balcony area that is frequently used during dry weather, three and a half sides have only half walls, with benches attached to the half walls, with tables placed around, and further chairs also cluttered around.

The upper floor of the Cantina is decorated much like the first floor with the Clan and House banners displayed along the walls. The shorter arm of the L provides for a secondary bar to cater to the drinking needs of the patrons. The tables and chairs on this floor are a bit more luxurious in design, and it is the upper floor where more of the higher ranking House members will congregate.

Place at the far end of the longer branch of the L is another stage for more musicians, and a spacious dance area for those who are inclined. The rest of the room is devoted to several gaming tables for the recreation of the House’s members. There are also doors opening out to a balcony situated above the patio providing alternative seating for those who wish to enjoy the weather.

The Sunset Cantina

"Whatever you can possibly imagine you want, this Cantina will have it."
―Thran Occasus, upon the opening of the Sunset Cantina

The Cantina is an 'L' shaped building located near to the main building of the House Caliburnus compound, the Obsidian Palace. The dull grey stone building holds the main alcohol and food storage for the house, as well as being the entertainment place for all members and is split into three floors. It is the frequent focal point for the relaxation and enjoyment of the members of the House. The Cantina serves light meals but is best known for its wide assortment of beverages. Friendly gaming is also provided at tables on the second floor.

Basement Level

First Floor

Second Floor
