Summary of the character. Jandos Phyleus Kalinor.
Character History
In the Begining
Born on Mandalor, a member of the powerfull Kalinor Family, Jandos was the son of Lord Joral Kalinor, a member of the Mandalorian Imperial Government, soon after his birth, the family resettles on Shogun. Joral Kalinor had long been involved with the Sith and Dark Jedi alike, his services as a bounty hunter and a respected trainer of various Dark Side troops had been invaluable in the past wars, his family had a strong connection with the force and Jandos was no different, he had an extraordinary Midichlorian count of which his father was proud, as soon ans Jandos reached the right age, Joral instructed him in the ways of the force, he taught him that there was neither light or dark, just aspects of the force that could be manipulated when needed, these teachings started Jandos's journey towards the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
The Fall
The Kalinor Family was able to owtwit the empires Jedi Hunters, many of which Joral killed, unfortunately when Jandos was 16 a group of mercenary's hunted down his family and killed his father, Jandos vowed to kill these people, and he began his route towards being a bounty hunter. Jandos trained under various bounty hunters, including Dengar and his Uncle Kiran Kalinor, until the age of 23 when he struck out on his own, Jandos took the name of Shadow Stalker to run under as a bounty hunter and, using his family wealth, purchased and modified several ships for his bounty hunting including a Marauder Corvette named Vengeance and a Starviper named Deathwing. Equipped with his the Mandalorian equipment that was his fathers and his newly purchased weapons he hunted down and killed the 10 men responsible for the death of his father, he was able to use all aspects of the force in this hunt, torturing his targets with the dark side, and using the light side to enlighten his search.
Walking the New Path
At the age of 30 he became aware of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and sought them out, He was allowed to join there ranks as a valued member. Jandos still carried out Bounty Hunts and Mercenary/assassinations, but these were arranged through the Brotherhood. And so began Jandos's, son of Joral, rise through the ranks of the Darkside. Once a member of the Brotherhood he was drawn towards the Krath order, he then joined Arcona, one of the proud clans in the Brotherhood, during his time with the house Qel-Droma he participated in many momentous events and carried on his family's proud name in the service of the force.
The Journey Through Darkness and Light
Soon after joining Arcona, Jandos and his friend Kandos were plunged into a Great Jedi War, Jandos came into the fighting late on during the war because he and his friend Kandos had been away on other business when it had begun. The two Dark Jedi Apprentices quickly moved to the main base of the Dark Brotherhood and started making their way through the maze of corridors. As they got deeper and deeper into the base they started meeting the enemy, the dispatched them with brutal efficiency, unfortunately Jandos became separated from his friend, Jandos survived the war mostly because of his past experiences. Even though he was a low standing member of Arcona his efforts were well rewarded.
During his time in Arcona he was a participant in the Exodus, and many conflicts both against other clans and in the many Great Jedi Wars.
Equipment in Current Use
Mandalorian Imperial Battle Armour
This armour belonged to his father, Jandos has worn it through many encounters and it has the scars to prove it, Jandos later modified the armour with the addition of extra armour and servo assistance, During his visit to his homeworld he was able to get this armour enhanced with a Beskar coating, he also had a similar suit crafted from Beskar.
Custom A280 Blaster Rifle
Modified from a standard rifle in two ways, firstly it has a rapid fire compression barrel enhancement, permitting recoilless rapid fire capability, secondly the weapon was modified to that it could be mounted on a servo armature on the shoulder of the battle armour.
Beskar Saber
This was a weapon purchased to replace his ancient vibro katana, the saber is much better and far more useful, it has been modified with the engraving of the family crest on its blade.
Positions Held
Jandos was Tetrarch of the Qel-droma Battle team for a short time, until urgent events on his homeworld called him away from the Brotherhood.
Trivia
Jandos has gone under a variety of names during his time with the Brotherhood, these are: Brother Kalinor, Jandos Kalinor, Jandos Phyleus Kalinor and Shadow Stalker.
Jandos is also a member of the Brotherhood of Spam, a sub group of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, this group maintains a place of rest and relaxation for members of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood aboard a space station know as the Spamosa, Jandos is the Current Deputy Grand Master of Spam.
