To economize fuel consumption and increase engine capacity, technicians stripped away huge portions of the superstructure. To accommodate the needs within this newer age of technology, much of the vessel was retooled to replace human work stations with computer or droid controlled stations. The modified Assault Frigate has also been stripped of docking bays or landing platforms for carried ships. However, there are twenty umbilical docking fixtures on the ship's surface. A few of these docks can accommodate standard transports, but the majority are designed for light freighters or starfighters. |
