With responsibilities that govern member and position administration throughout the Brotherhood, an active [[Master at Arms]] has a wide affect on the progress of the club. The primary responsibility of the [[Master at Arms]] is to enforce the standards and procedures for requests and changes within the Brotherhood. Among these are requests for promotions, [[medal]]s, transfers, appointments, and removals. The [[Master at Arms]] also carries large responsibilities in ensuring the correct administration of competitions. He approves and watches over competitions, ensuring that there is parity between reward and effort. The [[Master at Arms]] is the first contact for new members of the Brotherhood – even before the [[Headmaster]].
