History
Early Childhood
The year is 7 ABY, Koga Kage was born Kuro Kogarasu on Coruscant. Kuro was welcomed into the family by his brother Tatsu, his father Tal’Daren, and his mother Alicia. The Kogarasu Family was considered High Class. Tal’Daren was a well known Mandalorian mercenaries and Alicia was a successful business woman. Kuro and his brother, Tatsu, were raised as normal children, with the exception of weapon and hand to hand martial art training by there father, much to the displeasure of there mother, Alicia.
Tragedy
Tal Daren was a Mandalorian who served as a bounty hunter and privet security for most of his life. He knew his wife was not real happy that he has such a dangerous job and always hated that he was hardly home. Now that Kuro and Tatsu were getting older, he wanted to retire and spend more time with his family, when Tal Daren arrived at the contractors office and gave his employer his resignation letter, he could see the displeasure in his bosses eyes. “are you sure this is what you want?” the boss asked, Tal Daren just nodded, the boss told him he had one last job already contracted out for him, and once he was done he would be let out of his employment contract. He took the data pad and went on his way, but first had to stop at his apartment to get some gear. Tal Daren reached his apartment, unaware that he was being followed. He walked in and held Alaica's hand and told her that he had turned in his resignation but still had to complete one more contract to make it official. All of a sudden he noticed a flicker of light coming from the window. he looked out and saw a mussel flash, he yelled at his wife to get down, and they both dropped to the floor just as the shot busted out their window. He instantly knew that his soon to be ex-employer would not have him leave so easily. He and Alicia got up and Alicia went to get Tatsu and Kuro. Alicia went in to the two kids bedroom when there was an explosion in the front room were Tal Daren was, Alicia stopped and went back to check on her husband when there was another explosion and blaster fire. Kuro and Tatsu fled there room to go hide. The two made there way out of the apartment but with all the chaos, Kuro was separated from his older brother and parents. With another explosion, that block of the complex was shut down by the automated fire control system, and about the same time the CSF showed up and took Kuro away from the scene to safety, he was unsure if his family survived and uncertain of his future.
Dark Brotherhood
With the assumed death of his parents and brother, Kuro never was able to cope with the loss. He became depressed and full of anger. He knew more about his fathers business then he let on and wanted to follow in his footsteps. Not only to honer his father, but in hopes to get strong enough to one day return and bring his own type of justice to the corporation that killed his family. With no home, Kuro started to live on the streets. Life was hard, he had nothing but pain and hate in his heart. One night when he got caught shop lifting food from a street vendor, the owner was smacking him around and calling him names, Kuro got angry and shouted at the old man and in that moment Koga let off a burst of energy that toppled vendor carts and other objects in the area, this show of force shocked and frighten the vendor and allowed Kuro to escape. Kuro tried to strengthen his new powers, and while doing so it became know to the Dark Brotherhood and they sent out a recruiter to scout Kuro for there organization. Kuro joined House Exar Kun of Clan Plagueis, he changed his name to Koga Kage. Koga was short for Kogarasu, his family's name, and Kage was the name of his fathers shuttle. Within the Brotherhood Koga was learning all he could about the force, and with his training from his father in martial arts and other fighting skills Koga was becoming a powerful young Dark Jedi. With all his hate and anger, Koga jumped at every mission that was available. When Koga was to bring back survivors for questioning, Koga never had survivors. Many years past, Koga just finished some training and was heading back to his office, he was Rollmaster of the house at the time, when he saw Kaira Rohana. Something about her just caught his eye a strange feeling came over him, they became friends, then even dated for a wile before he eventually asked her to marry him, she said yes. Koga was so full of hate, rage and anger for so long, wanting to kill everyone that got in his way of attaining power, all of that seemed to leave him while he was with her. After marriage, Koga seemed to be different. He still had anger issues but nowhere near as he did before. After awhile Koga and Kaira brought their Little daughter Kystal Kage into the world and all was officially different for Koga, he had a family of his own now. He loved something again, more then his own life. Koga realized that he cant go around hating everyone and everything, he had changed.
