| Kalon was born in 11 ABY on a Venator-class Star Destroyer known as the "Deaths Courier", his mother and father were both officers aboard the destroyer, which was occupied by Imperial Defectors.

| Kalon spent his whole childhood aboard the Deaths Courier, he was a quite boy who would look at the floor whenever he did speak, rather then look anybody in the eye. As he grew into a young man he was given the oppurtunity to work in the bridge as a young officer after showing great tactical knowledge during his education, he graciously accepted and was instantly promoted from Ensign to Second Lieutenant.
