Appearance

Kadrol Hauen is a Zabrak male from Dathomir. He has yellow skin, and yellow eyes to match. He has eight horns, each about three inches long, circumferencing his head. He has black tattoos all over his body, as most of the Nightbrothers do. The back half of his head and his entire neck and shoulder blades is one solid black tattoo. Around every horn is circular tattoo. He has tattoos around each of his eyes, and a crescent shape tattoo connects with the top of his eye tattoos. His most distinct tattoo, however, is the two lightning bolts running from underneath his eyes to his cheekbones.

Tattoos

All Male Dathomirians receive their tattoos at their rite of passage. Kadrol has tattoos around each of his eight horns, on his cheekbones, the back of his head and around his neck, shoulders and shoulderblades, his chest, back, arms, feet, and legs. These tattoos are symmetrical to the other side of his body, and each have a meaning.

The tattoos around each of his eight horns look like pointed ovals and point towards the center of his head.

face

Kadrol has circular tattoos encompassing both of his eyes with small shapes representing diamonds connecting them to a lightning bolt shaped tattoos, which start just above his ears and cut in across his cheekbones before ending just above the center of his jaw. A curved and pointed line leads from each of the eyes to the second horn from the middle on each side.

back of head and neck

This is an almost completely tattooed area of his body, with the black markings leading from the back horns down to the collarbone, representing a shroud of sorts. The only exception on this tattoo is the non- tattooed line on each side of his head, as if it were a helmet placed over the Zabrak himself.

shoulders and shoulder blades

The tattoo along his shoulders is a resemblance to the revered and cherished warrior, Darth Vader and the armor worn upon his shoulders in the infamous suit.

chest

A tattoo down the center of his chest looks like the rod of Aesculapius with a sword instead of a rod. This tattoo represents the healing he will bring to the tribe when he avenges a deceased member's death, as well as his advanced knowledge of healing and war tactics.

Character History

Kadrol Hauen was born on Dathomir in the year 19 ABY. During his training to receive the rite of passage, Kadrol was the top of his class of 15 other members. Out of the young Zabraks who were undergoing their training and trials, there were only fourteen females compared to the sixteen males. Kynar, Kadrol's best friend and fellow classmate, was banished from the tribe as a result of being one of the two males who wouldn't receive a wife. This ordeal angered Kadrol, giving him even more determination to further enhance his abilities. At age 10, during his rite of passage, he was given his tattoos and a wife, as was the custom of his secluded and unorthodox tribe of both Dathomirian males and females. Males in this tribe were treated as equals to females, unlike in other tribes on Dathomir. He lived among the tribe with his wife, Sarria Komo, until 31 ABY, when he was taken into apprenticeship by a Chiss named Brimstone, a Sith warrior. Kadrol's master allows for 30 standard days a year to be with his wife. While he is away from home he undergoes intense training with Brimstone. At age 14, Kadrol was given his very own training lightsaber as a reward for his progress.
