The Dark Crusade Prologue is a Brotherhood-wide event designed to capture the Avenger II. Members have been tasked organized into 18 teams have have been given the task to board and capture the former flagship of Grand Master Zoraan. The fog of war destroys the greatest of plans and yours will be no different. Information for this adventure will be provided to you, but it does not limit the scope of your run on. Keep things interesting and exciting by focusing on character progression and plot development!

Background

In the wake of their master's death, the SSD Avenger II is attempting to flee the Antei System before the Brotherhood can mount a counter-attack. However, without Zoraan's guidance, the ship is having difficulty navigating through the Shroud leaving it blind and vulnerable for attack.

Muz Ashen has recruited you and a team of powerful Dark Jedi to board the Avenger II, eliminate all opposition, and capture the vessel for the Dark Brotherhood.

Map Information

Maps provide you and your team a rough guideline for which to create your adventure. This will help keep your story in the bounds of the mission, but you are by no means limited to what you see. Always keep in mind that you define how event unfold, but keep it realistic.

Mission

Phase I

Your team has departed Antei after receiving an operations order from the Dark Council. Intelligence reporting indicates the SSD Avenger II's external weapons will be hampered by the effects of the Shroud allowing your shuttle to dock at an axillary hangar bay, but opposition is expected to be extreme once on board.

Your team has been tasked to board the ship and secure a small hangar bay. Additional teams will be operating throughout the ship in a simultaneous attack designed to confuse and disrupt enemy forces.

Be prepared for trouble. And remember, the obvious route is not always the best one...

Encounters

Your encounters with non-boss enemies is entirely to your discretion. However, with such a defined setting, it's obvious that the enemies fit a certain type. Below are the standard enemies that you might find aboard the Avenger II. The list is not exhaustive, but rather a general guideline for you to use. As long as encounters are realistic to the setting, your posts should be fine.

Standard Enemies

Heavy resistance is expected. Be prepared to encounter Soldiers, Sith, and automated defenses in great number.

  • Stormtroopers
  • Dark Jedi Knights
  • Battle Droids
  • Defense Turrets

Boss Encounters

In most situations, at the end of a Phase you'll encounter a boss-figure. These enemies tend to be a lot stronger and lot more skilled than the usual riff-raff, and you and your team will need to pull out all the stops to take them out.

Below, each Boss is described somewhat to give you an idea of who you're fighting against. Included is a small list of "abilities" that make the Boss unique. The difficulty rating is purely to emphasize how much effort it should require to take the Boss out.

PHASE 1 HANGAR BOSS FIGHT

Sith Battlelord's Reaper and Frost

  • identical twin dark jedi, late twenties
  • humans
  • excessive chatter, annoying
  • pale skin, dark hair, combat attire
  • lithe and agile, very acrobatic combatants

Powers/Abilities

  • Dual Lightsabers (red, white)
  • Force Slam (the ability to lift an opponent in the air and slam them to the ground)
  • The twins combine Force attacks to increase their power

Opponent's Difficulty: Equite

Participants

List of all member participants. Winning RO will become canon, while all other teams will be depicted as backup units that help secure other parts of the ship in terms of story.
