Cethgus is a Templar of Clan Scholae Palatinae, and currently resides in House Caliburnus.

Character History

A born warrior

The Iridonian Xedhur was born on the planet Iridonia in the year 2 ABY to a pair of Iridonian parents, with one elder brother, an arena gladiator. As an infant, Xedhur had always respected his brother’s strength and combat prowess as an arena combatant, his work was the source of much of the family income.

In his spare time, Xedhur would spar with his brother, and developed a closer bond with him than he did with his parents. This also caused him to develop strong sword fighting skills, and always looked to follow in his brother’s footsteps as an arena combatant. In his school, his lack of academic proficiency was well known, but people tended to shy away from insulting him about it, knowing about his training with his brother.

Xedhur’s life began to take shape in his arena debut, at the age of 16. In a duel using vibroblades, Xedhur brought the premature death of another Zabrak close to his age. This sparked an illustrious career in the arena, and further income to the family.

A rising star

As Xedhur started to shed more blood, his reputation began to spread across Iridonia. The owners of his arena had selected both him and his brother as their representatives in an upcoming tournament on Ord Mantell. While he traveled there to make a name for himself, there was much more to happen in the tournament than mere dueling.

Word of the championship didn’t reach very far, only about 400 turned up to participate. Also, all blades were blunted, all blasters powered down to reduce the risk of death, but not negate it entirely. These days would be ones that would change the Iridonian's path for the rest of his life. As a team, Xedhur and his brother had rached the semi-finals. Fighting beside each other they both knew what the other one was about to do, in the best show of teamwork out of the remaining combatants. The Semi Final battle began, but half way through a terrible accident occured. Xedur's brother was impaled on the blades of a wookie pair. Xedhur continued the fight finding he had a sixth sense, the ability to see attacks before they struck. Without really knowing what was happening, he continued the fight. As he gave in to his rage, he overcame the two wookies. The crowd went wild, beside one yellow female twi'lek, who barely moved, but was clearly impressed by what she saw. He found there was emptiness inside him from his brother’s death. He was forced to exit the tournament, the loss of his brother was over-powering, and likely to hinder his performance. As he contemplated his future, a stranger offered to sort his whole everything out for him.

A Stranger Calls

Xedhur decided to take a walk that night mourning his brothers death. He took a walk through the town only to get his distraction down an alley for some reason. As he came to a dead end turning around he saw a clocked figure in the entrance. As the figure closed in he panicked by the state of his opponent there was something not right. Xedhur charged into combat that night only to end up with a sword at his throat and looking at a female Twi'lek in front of him. Looking at the Twi’lek at first sighs the Iridonian laid eyes on the attractive Twi’lek and was shocked to see how well she could wield a sword. Standing there he heard about how he had the chance to become something and not live like a fighter forever. The Zabrak to the opportunity with open hands where he was told that his new life would begin soon after a journey to where it all starts. Getting on board a ship that was where the journey started towards his life. Which was now in the hands of a complete stranger to him and what was sure to be one of the best adventures he would every go on.

Unlocking Doors

Finding his ground they reached a planet called Judecca. At the first sight he was impressed. They accepted him with open arms and at that same day he lost his old name to take up a new one Cethgus. Learning quickly at what he was the Zabrak became a fast learner in areas of combat such was to be expected. But he dwindled on how to use this door he was slowly unlocking. Continuing his training he started to marvel at what he could learn focusing on his training in the Dark Brothrhood. Cethgus was moved to Antenore where he was soon found in the position of being a Tetrarch for a battle team called Ebon Cloak. But he soon sought out to be different learning that there was nothing he could treasure from the Krath he changed to an Obelisk beginning his way with combat. Moving up in rank he became a Jedi Hunter.

Changing Winds

Cethgus was soon given a master by the name of Impetus who was the Twi'lek he was taken back and shown the Dark Brotherhood by . They both worked on there unique bond as Master and Student. Working together Cethgus soon found that anything Impetus did was always for the better of him and learnt to respect his Master in time. Learning together they both walked on one line getting better as one team. Cethgus final started to move up and with that he found a new spot as a Battle Team Leader moving to House Caliburnus. Moving into the leadership spot the Jedi Hunter soon started to work on his new group of people before a changing Wind came and the Zabrak leadership position.

Going Places

Cethgus enterd the darkest months months of the Sixth Great Jedi War and raveled in the carnage which persued. Finding that his training in combat worked wonders for him in the situation. But he had one last task and knew that the last days of the War where his only chance to see his family. Resigning from his position in the battle team before the end of the war. The Zabrak decided how to get back to his home planet. Going to Judecca Cethgus stole a transport ship from his Clan and headed out towards Iridonia. Landing on the planet he found his family ready to great him with open arms. But as always nothing looked like it seemed. Coming from out of the ship came two Troopers that where hiding in the Ship he stole. A battle endured between them and in the end one of te men where slain in the combat the other one ran to the ship and took off. The ship headed back towards its home planet.

Family Trade

Cethgus found himself on this planet with no ship and stuck here. Only to make matters worse on the left shoulder pad of the man he killed stood out like gold was the Clan Scholae Palatine logo. Sighing he knew it would only end worse if he didnt go back and face the charges head on. His Family supported him and in a sign of respect his father gave him his most prised posettions. That day Cethgus recived two ships from his father and one droid which was a pilot droid. Waving his family good bye for the last time he headed with his two ships back to Judecca and ready to face the charges against him. Arriving on the planet was not the best welcome party.

You have been Charged

Cethgus was greeted by Raidoner and soldiers greeted the Hunter as he stepped out of his ship. Escorted quickly on his way past he saw a familiar wookie by the name of Laurus but was quickly moved on. Shown into a big chamber and sitting on a raised desk was the following : Braecen, ThranOccasus, Zeron and his Master Impetus. He stood in a box in front of them and on the floor was the CSP Logo. Knowing this is where the decision on his charge would be made. Braecen announched the charges as followed ' Murder and Tretchery' The case that followed was a gruling one but the out come was only one of guilty. Cethgus was sentenced to banishment from the Clan compound for several months. If found stepping on it would be something more survire. Quickly escorted of the planet by the soldiers he found his head hang low in shame but knew he had got of lightly. Heading back to his House planet.

Bad to Good

After an Intence gruling by his Questor and Master Cethgus finaly walked away from her office only to find out he had been promoted and finaly got his Knighthood. Getting a saber the Knight moved on from there and found that he had a position as a flight leader a couple of moths before the war but also he resigned a week befor just before a war broke loose between the Clans two houses. Cethgus found himself fighting people he had know and only after the war resigted did he realise the due which had followed out of the war both houses came to a draw evenly matched as they where. Cethgus soon resigned from Flight Leader after the war but changes where to be made and his Master moved to the opposite house changes where made during the end of the war. Looking to pick the peacies up Cethgus found himself seeing changes that would be for the greater good.

Your Choices

After that there was a quite time in the Dark Brotherhood for a little while before the RoS started. In the mists of battle the Zabrak found himself doing all he could for his clan pushing himself to the limits in time of war Cethgus finished in the war a changed person. During the RoS not everything went to plan thought. Finding himself fighting out numbered that day only to wake up in his quaters injured only just managing to get out of that planet alive. Cethgus then changed forever after that day. On his last part of war time he went to a planet where he brought two droids for his ship summing the total of one thousand credis together. Coming out of the war and found himself looking towards the next think that would affect him on his life journy. Cethgus made his choice that day which was he would move towards the futer with the Clan than sit back and watch.

Inheritence

Cethgus was soon after the RoS given the rank of Templar which was one which would open new doors for him. A couple of days later Cethgus found himself with his very own apprentice Fionn dan Locut'Hal walking the foot steps of a Master the Zabrak soon found that together there bond grew strong learning that everything was a practise of Falling over and getting back up and trying again. This bond stood strong and still will. But with this also came another aspect the Zabrak was shown into the battle team Order of the Serpent which was soon named Souls of Darkness staying in the battle team he soon started to work harder than evey on project. Before long he found himself standing at the Sergeant of Souls of Darkness with pride he started to settle into his work.
