Creation of the Team

Blue Mist is a fairly new Battleteam, created to serve Galeres around the time that the Dark Inquisitors, a House Qel-Droma Battleteam, was installed within Clan Arcona. Blue Mist is the second Battleteam for House Galeres, the other being Soulfire Strike Team, the Elite Team of Arcona. The Team is still new but is on the rise.

Blue Mist Specifics

The battleteam, like said in the previous section is fairly new and was created for the sole purpose of serving House Galeres. While it is the second team to be added to House Galeres, Soulfire Strike Team being the first, serves Arcona as a whole. The Team has had two Sergeants so far and is currently working on getting some basics up and running such as a motto and an emblem.

Purpose within Galeres

While Soulfire Strike Team is a elite commando unit before a unit of Dark Jedi, Blue Mist is quite the opposite. Blue Mist is a unit of Dark Jedi first and a commando unit second. Those who join Blue Mist are more attuned and show interest in being part of a Dark Jedi Battleteam and using the Force and techniques of Dark Jedi in a commando-like role. Also unlike the Strike Team, Blue Mists loyalty lays with Galeres first.

Troopers and History

Both Teams within Galeres are Obelisk-ordered, meaning all members are Obelsik Troopers led by an Obelisk Sergeant. However it is to note that some members are Sith or Krath but instead of being Flight Members or Tyros, they share the name Trooper. The Blue Mist name was designed for that purpose in mind. The Blue in the name shows the majority of its members are Obelisk, whose Order color is blue. The Blue also represents loyalty to its Clan, Arcona. While Blue Mist does not have much history, this being because it has not been around for very long, it is a Team that serves Galeres to its utmost and will only continue to improve.

Leadership of the Team

Blue Mist has had two Sergeants so far. The first being Dark Side Adept Strategos and second being Guardian Caedes.

The Mists of Creation

The leadership of Galeres noticed that while Soulfire Strike Team was based within House Galeres, it was the Elite Team and held its loyalty to the Clan and was not truely a House-based Battleteam. So in answer to this Blue Mist was created to be a regular Battleteam with the sole purpose of serving House Galeres. With the approval of the Clan and Brotherhood, Blue Mist was born. Being birthed into a honorable House, the Team quickly grew to a good sized roster and Dark Side Adept Strategos was given leadership of it. However, later the Team would pass from DA Strategos and go to Guardian Caedes, a fairly new member within Clan Arcona and House Galeres, but one with expirience from his days as both a Flight Leader of Satal Victus, the first House Historian of Exar Kun and creator of the Blades of Kun wiki page.

Election of the Sergeant

After Dark Side Adept Strategos Entar Arconae resigned from the post of Blue Mist Sergeant, Zandro Savric Erinos, Quaestor of House Galeres, held an election for members of House Galeres. Caedes, a young Heragan and new member of Galeres submitted an application and a week and a half later, was picked to lead the Team.

Blue Mist, Galeres Calvary

With Soulfire, they are the best of the best within Arcona...a special operations team. Blue Mist is the Calvary of Galeres and has equipment to define said postion. Blue Mist is issued a set of Clone Wars era speeder bikes, with modifications to make the Calvarys purpose more...real. Blue Mists appearance is always shown by the Sergeant and Troopers wearing midnight blue armor, dura-steel woven with beskar to make it more agile and defensive against lightsabers. For weaponry, Mist Knights wield blue lightsabers and their hilts depend on their rank. Knights all have the same, Equites 1 all have the same, and so on. The rest of the Journeymen ranks (INI to JH) wield an array of blasters, vibro-swords and specialized Force-Lances, each Trooper having their own.

Blue Mist Garage

In Space: Blue Mist was given a sqaud of advanced A-9 Interceptors as vehicles in space operations.

On the Ground: Since Blue Mists is Galeres Calvary, they need ground vehicles to scout out positions of enemy encampments and such. So in answer to this Galeres gave Blue Mist a set of Aratech Speederbikes, hailing from the Clone Wars. Sergeant Caedes soon repaired these bikes and are now in fighting condition.

Rank Structure

In a crusade to make the Team more enjoyable, Sergeant Caedes quickly created a fictional rank structure, one that is the same as DJB rank and the others like the Military. DISCLAMIER: The ranks are purely fictional and have no standing outside the Battleteam and likewise should not be used outside Battleteam buisness. These ranks hold no power within House Galeres or the rest of the Brotherhood. If abuse occurs or the order is given to dismiss the ranks, the structure will be closed ASAP.

War Ranks; The following are based on Activity and what the Trooper brings to the Battleteam.

Rank I: Footsoldier: First War Rank, intial rank given to all Troopers upon enlistment within the Mist.

Rank II: Scout Trooper: Second War Rank, given upon activity in one Team competition and acitvity within the Team.

Rank III: Gunnery Trooper: Third War Rank, given upon activity in three Team comp or extended ACTIVE service within the Team, no less than two months.

Rank IV: Chief Trooper: Fourth War Rank, given upon achieving a place in a Team comp or great service to House Galeres.

Rank V: Chief Trooper First Class: Fifth War Rank, given upon achieving first or second in a Team comp.

Rank VI: Master Trooper: Sixth War Rank, given upon three criteria. 1. Acheiving first in a Team competition. 2. Being Protector or higher in the Brotherhood. 3. Being an Active Trooper for more than three months.

Trooper Ranks:

These Ranks are the same as Brotherhood ranks but in a Blue Mist 'flavor'. Once again these ranks are the same as Brotherhood ranks but are only used in Battleteam transmissions and as the War Ranks are not to be used outside of Blue Mist. NOTE: These ranks go only through the seven (7) Journeymen Classes.

APPRENTICE= Mist Student

NOVICE= Mist Scholar

ACOLYTE= Mist Disciple

PROTECTOR= Mist Defender

GUARDIAN= Mist Warrior

JEDI HUNTER= Mist Stalker

DARK JEDI KNIGHT= Mist Knight

  • Iniaties are not counted in this due to the fact that all Dark Jedi are APPs by the time they reach a House.

EXAMPLE OF FULL RANK

Legorii, Mist Disciple, Scout Trooper (However in transmissions, the signature would be vertical)

Base of Operations

The Battleteam has many 'outposts' on Brotherhood-influenced worlds but if you ask any Trooper, they will always call two places home. The first being the planet of Dantooine and the second being the Bothan Assault Cruiser 'Darkest Night'. While the latter belongs to House Galeres, Blue Mists squadron of A-9 Interceptors are attached to the 'Darkest Night' and so the Team frequents the Assault Craft. Classified Information on both BOOs (Base of Operations) follow below.

Base of Operations A; Dantooine

Dantooine, known for it's secet Jedi Enclave in the Old Republic era and the place of Lord Revans embrace of the Dark Side, became Blue Mists base about early 27 ABY. Scout Trooper Legorii brought this planet to Sergeant Caedes' attention when the matter arose for finding the virgin Team a place to call home. After Caedes granted Legorii his blessing to scout out the planet, Legorii reported only sparse settlements across the planet and ruins of old structures still standing. Caedes payed a visit himself and with some negotiations, Caedes purchased a small abandoned building on the outskirts of the nearest settlement, the ancient Kunda. The Base was small on ground level but two of Caedes Troopers, Legorii and JS found extensive tunnels underneath Mists new home. Caedes brought all his Troopers to the Base and they began a digging expedition, soon finding the tunnel system. The tunnel system was man-made and further excavations revealed it was most likely a Sith Military Outpost, due to the ruined sets of old Sith Armor found in the rubble. Blue Mist brought the tunnels back to use with the installation of a garage, with a retractable ramp (still in progress), a turbo-lift back up to the ground level, which is home to the Troopers Barracks, (Emergency Barracks are located in the Tunnels if the need arises where it is unsafe or tatically impossible to return to the surface). The Tunnels also holds Practice Ranges, both a Firing Range and a Melee Circle, extensive armories filled with the latest and commonly illegal weapons. In addition the Tunnels hold Repair shops for weapons, vehicles, armor and the like. Also the extensive systems holds a Modification and Medical Base, where Troopers can find modifications, also commonly illegal, to add to their weapons. In the Medical, Troopers can rejuvinate themselves in personal Bacta Tanks and gather Med supplies for missions. That is the extension of the Tunnels and are a quite a maze to anyone who is not trained in the navigational skills of the Team. The only other prominiet feature of the ground level is, like previously stated, the Troopers and Sergeants main Barracks, a Mess Hall, and a Landing Pad for Blue Mists Assault Carrier, a revamped Sentinal Class Lander, perfect for rapid Troop deployment and vehicle stowing. With many hidden defenses, the Teams base is a formidable addition to not only Blue Mist but also to House Galeres and Clan Arcona as well.

Base of Operations B; Bothan Assault Carrier 'Darkest Night'

Not much is said about the BAC 'Darkest Night'. This is due to the fact that it is not a Blue Mist ship, but more of an affiliation of the Team, stemming from the cause that the wing of A-9s that were given to the Team are officially assigned to the 'Darkest Night' and the Team is often seen there when either returning or taking out one of the A-9s. While the 'Night' cannot truely be called a base for the Team, they do occasionally use the Barracks there and are more seen on the craft if an entire House gathering was called, where they would attend both as members and as security. Please see the Wiki Page, Bothan Assault Cruiser; 'Darkest Night' for more information regarding the flagship.
