Character History

Aeshi was born into a wealthy and well established criminal family on Farrfin, they were mainly based in the capital city of Farlhu and this is where Aeshi was brought up. From a young age Aeshi was able to do strange things but her parents saw no need for concern and let her carry on growing up in a normal way. When she was 5 she fell in a pond in the garden of her home, she nearly drowned but was rescued by one of the family's guards; this caused her to develop a deep fear of water. She was taught the ways of the thief and sleight of hand at a young age and become very good. Her life dramatically changed on the night of her 6th birthday when her house was raided by a smuggling ring. She watched as the household was slaughtered in front of her eye including her parents. When the raiders turned to her, frighten and angry she throw them across the room giving her time to escape the house, she hid in the garden watching as the raiders burned down her home , and her life.

A New Beginning

After the death her family Aeshi was left to wonder the streets of Farlhu. She used her skills as a thief to pick-pocket off-worlders in order to have enough money to get by. She was soon noticed by a leader of a small gang of thieves, he offered her a safe place to sleep for the night and food and water. His name was Freon; he treated Aeshi like a daughter and raised her to be his successor. Although Aeshi was at last safe from everything she was still haunted by the death of her parents and the man who killed them. Aeshi was haunted every night by the screams of the people that died when she as a child, she knew that the only way to silence them was to kill the man responsible. As she grew up revenge was all she could think about, and soon began to consume her, she demanded that Freon taught her how to fight and more importantly to kill. At the age of 14 she saw one of the men that attacked her home in a local bar; she waited for him outside and then stabbed him in the back killing him. She returned Freon covered in the man’s blood, he hit Aeshi round the face telling her that she is not a killer. Even after killing one of the men that destroyed her home she was still full of rage, she began to notice that the power that save her life as a child was surfacing again. She tried to make it stronger but was unable instead she wanted to seek out a place that could teach her. When Freon learned of this he forbid her to leave Farrfin giving her the choice that if she left there would be nothing left for her on Farrfin when she returned.

Leaving It Behind

At the age of 19, Aeshi could no longer take the nightmares of the night her parents died. She went to Freon to ask for his help. She told him that she was being torn apart inside and that killing was the only way for it to stop. Freon warned her that if she left then he would not accept her back and that she would become a stranger to him. With a heavy heart Aeshi left Farrfin and went in search of a place she could get the power to kill the man responsible of the deaths of those close to her. Aeshi knew full well that there was no going back home, she was dead to Freon, the last person who cared for her, and now she was once again truly on her own.

Becoming a Novice

As Aeshi become a novice she became good friends with a fellow novice Sanguinius Tsucyra.
