The Legacy era follows Luke Skywalker's legacy, including the unification of the New Jedi Order. During this time, individual planetary interests threaten to end the peace forged in the time since the end of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. Meanwhile, Luke is given visions of an approaching darkness.
During the early stages of the era, Coruscant and other worlds continue to recover and rebuild from the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion. The era (as it stands now) has no real end—extending 100 years after the New Jedi Order era
