Dan lived in Canada from birth until he was 7.  His missionary Dad (Christianity) moved to South Africa with the whole family and Dan started a whole new life there.  9 years later, they moved to the USA to live closer to Dan's Grandparents.

As a hardcore Satanist, Dan always tells people of his previous life as a Christian and the weaknesses of it.  He cannot help but be offensive to many other people's religions and political stances (but makes sure to leave it out of the DJB).  Dan follows the unreligion created by Anton Szandor LaVey and followed up by Peter H. Gilmore.

Dan in morality is liberal but wishes the American Government to be controlled by Libertarian principals.
Independent.  But he does have a form of his own government called mutual-individual anarchism.
