The Sea of Darkness is an expanse of ocean on Yridia II covering roughly 900,000km². The expanse is named for an area of the sea surrounding the island of Koa, a black coral reef encircling the nearly 2,000km² island. In addition to Koa, there are 171 smaller islands - 5 of which are scarcely populated, the rest are uninhabited. The Sea of Darkness is currently the private domain of Maxamillian von Oberst-Tarentae, the first grant ever issued to a member of Clan Tarentum.
