Elder 4 (Ascendant) or commonly known as EL4, is the sixteenth rank in The Brotherhood, which is awarded after demonstrating above and beyond performance in the third Elder rank . It is the final rank in the Elder class and the last step down the path to Grand Master.

Promotion requirements

A promotion to Elder 4 can only be authorized by the Grandmaster himself.

History

The only person who outranks an EL4 is a Grand Master.
