"I am not your pet"
―Tiallaquana

Tiallaquana is a White Rukh from Mount Chir’Lekki. A close friend of Impetus M'Nar, it is a common misconception that Tiallaquana is her pet. She follows the twi’lek of her own free will.

History

Birth and Early Life

Tiallaquana was born in the year 1 BBY into a small flock of four White Rukh residing near the top of Ryloth’s remote Mount Chir’Lekki. Life was harsh on the mountain, even for a majestic force-sensitive bird, but the telepathic communication between two White Rukh are as good as any sentient species, which greatly assisted in the rare species’ survival.

Naturally serene animals, the flock avoided and kind of difficult confrontation for the sake of their newborn youth. They lived this life for twenty years, up to the year 19 ABY, when Tiallaquana left the flock to try to find a mate.

Connection with civilization

While searching alone for a mate, Tiallaquana tried to expand the same sense she used for Telepathy to find any lone male rukh also looking for a mate. What she found surprised her, there were a few presences that she could touch the minds of who were living inside the mountain.

Rather lonely, she decided to investigate further, and built up a rather strong bond with Zentu’la the King of the city below. She found that he was able to converse with her through the Force despite not speaking her language with a power similar to that of Clan Scholae Palatinae’s Animalism.

A few years later, in the year 25 ABY. Zentu’la was murdered by his daughter Impetus. Out of desperation of needing a new friend, she tried to contact her, and found her senses sharper than her father’s were. They also built up a rather strong friendship before Impetus was forced to leave Ryloth and return to House Caliburnus.

The First Flight

Tiallaquana wouldn’t have any more contact with Impetus until 28 ABY, after her city of Siordan’a was burned to the ground. Impetus and her husband were taken to the top of Mount Chir’Lekki, and would be tortured until she pleaded for her own death. After sending her a telepathic message which roughly translated as ‘’have faith’’, Tiallaquana began circling the mountain.

The twi’lek jumped off the cliff, into the abyss, and was caught atop the wings of Siordan’a. After carrying her back up, the Rukh and the Twi’lek were powerless to stop the killing of Impetus’ husband.

Seeing no purpose in staying on Mount Chir’Lekki, Tiallaquana asked Impetus if she could stay with her on her travels, offering emotional support regarding he husband’s death, as she knew what it was like to feel lonely. She also mentioned the virtues of a new love to take away the pain, which was one of the triggers for her marriage with Eludajae "Lynx" M'Nar. Impetus knocked down the inside walls of her ship, making a complete mess of it in order to leave enough room to house Tiallaquana.

Tiallaquana would go with Impetus back to Judecca, and fight with her for Scholae Palatinae. The mess in her ship would later be cleared and the inside of the ship would be re-designed by professionals with Tiallaquana in mind.

Life on Judecca

Partly due to her large size and her rather high feeding costs, Tiallaquana didn't stay in the Scholae Palatinae headquarters. Instead, she stayed by Impetus' mansion on Judecca, awarded to her for her standing amongst the Nobles of Scholae Palatinae. As her mansion grew, Impetus would have a large, high quality yet costly spire built as an inside roost for her aves friend.

The spire would provide shelter for Tiallaquana, with adequate space for her to sleep without getting cramped, and also serve as a place for Impetus to provide her with food, when she didn't feel like hunting in the surrounding forests.

In return for Impetus' rather luxurious hospitality, Tiallaquana agreed to guard Impetus' noble residence, and is often seen circling it. If needed, she will also accompany Impetus into battle. Thanks to the large room fitted into her ship, Tiallaquana can follow Impetus anywhere.
