All this time, she was recording. She put up a fight, killing six of the twelve clones in her squad before they found her but the rest shot her to death. Lady Xilaren Bastra, a Jedi Consular in the time of the Clone wars, was always bothered about her fate and her future. She could never clearly see what was in store for her but she always felt something wrong. This bothered her to no end, and as a practitioner and supporter of the Unifying Force doctrine her mind was never at rest.
Not long before her untimely demise and well into the war, she realized that she could meet her fate very soon and a feeling of impending doom followed her thoughts constantly. At that moment she decided to leave a recording of her life, her role in the order and her beloved philosophy. It was her gift to posterity.
