It's rather difficult to be from Kyataru without the implicit involvement of the Keibatsu, considering it's off in the middle of nowhere and there wasn't even a spaceport (which they built) until recently. Fictionally, quite questionable, before even considering that 'smugglers' would be pretty much strung up by their toenails...but that's another matter entirely. --
