Summary
Originally the flagship of Clan Naga Sadow, and won in a feud with Clan Aquillas. Was lost in space for an unknown reason, and recently found again. It was originally modified to replace two Turbolasers with Ion Cannons, but these were found damaged beyond repairs, and were refitted with the standard Turbolasers.
History
During the early days of House Naga Sadow, Deputy Grand Master Jammin assigned Quaestor Tron Sadow to locate a known privateer that was allied with the New Republic. Urias Xhaxin was becoming a nuisance to the Dark Brotherhood and House Naga Sadow was assigned to neutralize the problem.
The house located Xhaxin near the planet Deyer in the Anoat system aboard his ship the Free Lance, a modified Nebulon-B Frigate. The members of House Naga Sadow quickly mobilized into action. Commander Ximeno led Ravana Squadron; Jedi Hunter Lee Tingnot Eagleye led the Iron Fist, while Quaestor Tron Sadow and his faithful Aedile came up with a plan of attack.
Ravana squadron quickly disabled the Free Lance and the members of the house boarded the incapacitated ship. However, Urias Xhaxin was not aboard as it was a trap. Ranth, an old student of House Naga Sadow who had failed to complete his training was waiting to get his revenge. Tron Sadow quickly and easily destroyed the inferior opponent and House Naga Sadow had captured the Free Lance.
For the completion of a successful operation House Naga Sadow was awarded the captured ship as their own. The newly named Foresight became the first flagship of Naga Sadow.
During the rebellion of House Primus Goluud the Foresight was captured by the Obelisk known as Spore and his followers. While the loyalist Obelisk members, with the help of Ludo Kressh and Marka Ragnos, retook the Citadel on Frigg successfully killing Spore and impaling his head on a spike to place atop the highest peak of the Citadel for all to see; the Foresight could not be found.
The Foresight remained missing for many years and was even forgotten as the older members retired and new leaders came to power, until one day Raistlin Sadow got a tip on its location. With the help of various members of Clan Naga Sadow, Raistlin Sadow brought the Foresight back to its home in Naga Sadow. While it was slightly damaged through the years, the Foresight was returned to its original state before the modifications and is currently in service in the fleet of Clan Naga Sadow.
During the most recent Great Jedi War, the Foresight was attacked by the invading Yuuzhan Vong and boarded. The Vong managed to inflict major damage to the vessel, both systems and structural, and would have destroyed the vessel entirely were it not for the efforts of Raistlin, Malisane, and others who were onboard for the invasion. The Jedi were able to repel many of the mighty warriors and upon making their way to the bridge, wrestled control of the vessel from the Vong, though the Commanding Officer of the Frigate, Commander Jori, was killed in battle.
Facing an incoming Vong fleet, Raistlin activated the micro-jump system initially installed by Xhaxin in an effort to save the battered ship from being totally destroyed. A skeleton crew was kept onboard and upon exiting hyperspace, they were greeted by a rescue and repair operation from the CSA, called in on personal favor some days later. Now the ship has been almost fully repaired and is docked in the Orian system at its main shipyard. Until a suitable replacement can be found, Exarch Raistlin Sadow has assumed command of the Foresight.
