Brief History

Born in Portsmouth, NH to a Navy family. I moved around a lot.

High School

My high school years were spent at Coolidge Christian School in Coolidge, AZ where I worked hard, played harder, and graduated at the ripe 'ole age of 16.

Plymouth State University

After graduation, I moved out to Plymouth, NH - worked for a year to gain residency - then started college full time. I graduated 4 years later with a BS in Applied Computer Science.

Professional

I never left Plymouth State University. After graduation I was hired on at the IT department as a Web Application Engineer (PHP, MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, JavaScript, etc) and teach the occasional College course here and there.

Abbreviated Life in a Nutshell

1. Born
2. Moved around a bunch early on
3. Grew up in Arizona, USA...mostly on a Ranch in the boonies (you know, riding horses, roping cattle, building fences, killing snakes)
4. Skipped 7th & 8th grade to jump right in to highschool
   1. was introduced to Star Wars CCG and Star Wars RPG. Much fun was had
   2. used the library to teach myself HTML and start coding my first website on Geocities
5. Graduated at 16 and moved to New Hampshire, USA for college
6. Chose Computer Science as major despite never owning a computer (it seemed fun)
   1. Played an e-mail based SW RPG
   2. Joined the EH Imperial Senate my freshman year
   3. Became the EH Imperial Senate Minister of Communications (webpage slut) for a LOOONG time
      1. hosted the Imperial Senate sites for years
      2. designed a number of other EH sites outside of the Imperial Senate
   4. Became the EH Imperial Senate Chancellor
   5. Retired from EH Imperial Senate
   6. Played D&D for the first time and loved it
   7. Played Shadowrun RPG
   8. Met a cool girl that eventually became my wife
7. Graduated in 2003 with my Bachelor of Science
8. Began working for the same university I graduated from as a programmer
   1. Got married
   2. Started Blogging (http://borkweb.com )
   3. Started Playing World of Warcraft, got addicted, quit, started again very un-addicted like
   4. Began teaching college courses on occasion (only 6 so far)
   5. Though of, Designed, and Developed http://masterwish.com with two co-workers
   6. Learned the power of JavaScript and how it applied to AJAX
9. Joined the DB

Miscellaneous

I'm a computer geek. I program for work and for fun. I architect web applications and always have a couple of projects on the wings. I'm a blogger: [BorkWeb]. I play [World of Warcraft]. I own a Wii. I fiddle with Graphic design. I like Strawberry Gushers. I'm married. I have a cat named Ducky Chicken Finger.
