Brief History

Born in NH to a Navy family. I moved around a lot.

High School

My high school years were spent at a small school in Coolidge, AZ where I worked hard, played harder, and graduated at the ripe 'ole age of 16.

Plymouth State University

After graduation, I moved out to Plymouth, NH - worked for a year to gain residency - then started college full time. I graduated 4 years later with a BS in Applied Computer Science.

Professional

I stayed at Plymouth State University. After graduation I was hired on at the IT department as a Web Application Engineer (PHP, MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, JavaScript, etc) and teach the occasional College course here and there.

In 2012, I left my position as Lead Developer at PSU to join Gigaom as a Software Engineer.

In 2015, Gigaom shut down and I started working at Modern Tribe and the Lead Products Engineer. Time moved forward and I became the Head of Products Engineering for that company.

In 2021, the product that I oversaw in Modern Tribe was sold to Liquid Web and I went with it. I became the Senior Director of Engineering for that company's product arm (StellarWP) and now oversee 7+ product brands and an army of engineers.

Miscellaneous

I'm the Senior Director of Engineering at a company. I'm a software engineer and systems architect. I draw. I do karate. I hike. I kayak. I like bacon. I play Minecraft.
