Commander of the Guard

Commander of the Guard (CoG)—The Commander of the Guard is solely responsible for the Grand Master’s Royal Guard. The leader of this elite group of members, the Commander of the Guard works to ensure that there is activity and opportunity for advancement for Guard members. He decides on the conditions for membership and oversees the activity of each elite group to ensure that the Guard lives up to its high standards. His general duties include:

• Responsible for development and administration of the Grand Master’s Royal Guard
• Appoints, trains and oversees Guard members
