Maeva is an Evereni/Sakiyan hybrid and a Field Medic. She works as a forensic pathologist for the Gooi-Moord. She currently serves as Second Magistrate for Clan Taldryan. Additionally, she's the Tribune of the Shadow Academy.

History

Orphanage

Maeva was dumped at an orphanage by her mother the moment she was born. There was a bicker among the staff to dump her elsewhere because they did not want to take in an Evereni. The few staff who had a heart managed to win the battle to keep her in, but that was the only start of her rough life. The kind-hearted staff did their best to shield Maeva from the constant bullying and abuse from her peers and the other staff but they can only do so much. As Maeva got older, she hated her appearance and hid away when she can.

Ga'ia Military

Maeva, when she enrolled into the military

Right when Maeva turned eighteen and graduated, she enrolled in the military. Part of her hopes that the military would help toughen her up and be able to stand up for herself. The other part had much darker thoughts that she did not wish to express. For the first few days, it was rough with the fellow soldiers and even her commanding officer was abusing her. Each day at lunch, she would sit down by a brooding human male and together, they didn't acknowledge each other's existence for a bit. It wasn't until one night that Maeva had to do a night patrol with a Togorian. The next day, the Togorian by the name of Barafu Endrin had decided to sit down with Vigo and Maeva, it was from then on that everything had changed for the three of them.

The three of them became thick as thieves and with Barafu's help as well, Vigo's aggression, the fellow soldiers no longer picked on Maeva as harshly. When they started to roll out field missions, Maeva gained massive respect from her troops when she did everything to heal them or take them to safety, despite all they had done to her. Together, the three of them had enrolled in missions and personal missions that they became closer. After five years, they are no longer part of the Ga'ia military but the three of them had split up and gone down different paths.

Once a month, the trio would get together and catch up. Once a week, they would call each other.

Introduction to Brotherhood

Gooi-Moord

When Maeva was working on getting her certifications as a forensic pathologist, she received an enrollment from the Brotherhood. Upon enrolling, she had got a contact that they were building a hospital and wished for Maeva to take part. After some discussion with her close friends, Maeva took up the job and now works for Gooi-Moord. This also gives her direct contact with Clan Taldryan.

Vice Chancellor Losa visited Maeva one day and extended a promotion as well a dangerous mission. An undercover agent with the alias by Amethyst for the Kriz Crime Syndicate that had been causing problems.

Physical Description

Maeva is just barely above average height for an Evereni, with an athletic or runner’s physique, which nicely complements her naturally svelte figure. The Medic has dark purple eyes with slit pupils, framed by angular facial features, high cheekbones and a pointed jawline. The Evereni’s skin tone is dark gray for the most part, with lavender patches of skin here and there due to vitiligo and her medium hair is pitch black, though there are red strands when the light hits it just right.

Her nails — or claws, depending on whom you ask — are black and well-groomed.

Distinguishing Marks & Notable Traits

Whilst she possesses many noteworthy traits, there are a few that make Maeva stand out amongst other Evereni. First and foremost would be the Medic’s unique eyes, hair coloring, and skin condition. Whilst her hair is mostly pitch black, with a hint of red under certain lighting conditions — indicative of her true age — the bangs possess streaks of white. Whereas most of her species possess black eyes, hers are a dark shade of purple; a physical trait she received from her Sakiyan father. And, finally, Maeva has the skin condition known as vitiligo, which causes lavender patches due to a loss of skin pigmentation.

Maeva’s only distinguishing mark is usually covered by her clothing and hair, a large tattoo that goes from the base of her hairline (Back of the neck) to the upper-middle of her back. Due to her skin condition and the natural coloration of dark gray, the tattoo itself is done in a midnight black for contrast. It is diamond-shaped, with a large black spider atop its web, with decorative filigree to the top and bottom.
