| Outside of the Clan Systems, additional planets are normally awarded/approved by the GM/DGM. So unless this planet had been previously awarded to CNS, it can't really be called one of their "assets". Thanks --Halcyon 19:57, 6 November 2007 (MST)

| Last year we let clans start expanding their presence into other systems after a couple of the consuls asked about it. They weren't allowed to go nuts creating fully developed second paradises (we don't need anymore crazy ninja worlds :P) but we figured small outposts and stuff on nearby worlds were fair enough to allow after five or six fictional years. --Xanos 07:17, 7 November 2007 (MST)

| Ok, thanks for that. I guess the ability to win planets/systems isn't worthwhile anymore than as well. Never knew about this before, but I think all Clans can then benefit from it --Halcyon 10:08, 7 November 2007 (MST)

| Funny I don't remember this at all? The Clans did move their "actual" systems across the galaxy to better locations, but we never just started expanding to new planets and systems at will. The only additions that I know of are the system from the Rite of Supremacy and mining rights on a planet for the winning Clan in a Muz hosted even called the Seven Day War. While I can see having some small outposts here and there, but where was this talk from many Consuls last year?--Duga Taldrya Arkarso 13:03, 7 November 2007 (MST)
| | We do not add Clan created planets to a Clan's Dominion or list them as property of a Clan. This is the same as not allowing a member's privately owned fighter to be listed on a Clan's OOB. |

| Note I said "after a couple of consuls" asked about it, it was never a big discussion with the whole Dark Council, no. I had actually thought Taldryan was one of the clans who had brought it up but I guess it can't have been then. Not sure who it was though as Kangaras came up after the original case. --Xanos 15:58, 7 November 2007 (MST)

| *Oh, one last point, it wasn't ever "at will", no. I sure as hell wouldn't have let consuls just go creating things without approval :P It was only when someone actually came along saying "hey, we want to add a new outpost called <blah>". Maybe it was Arcona or Plagueis or something, it was back before GJW7 though so I can't remember much beyond "some consul asking if they could create an outpost in a new system". I don't think it was Tarentum or CSP as I can't recall ever having the discussion with BF or Braecen though I may be mistaken. *shrugs* --Xanos 16:33, 7 November 2007 (MST)

| Everyone needs to chill out, and remember to play well with others. We don't need to be sniping each other in here. It's pretty immature, and needs to stop. On to the point at hand: I remember a discussion (back under Jac, when i was HRLD, as i was going to do those nifty planetary deeds like for Merach for them) about clans having outposts on different planets. I honestly don't recall if we were going to move forward on allowing or starting a system about getting these approved or whatever. I don't think *any* of the outposts were ever brought up for approval...and looking through the wiki planets now, I don't see anything of the sort. This is a fair bit different from the fictional worlds that are not declared as possessions of a Clan, as they can't be brought to bear on official stuff, like Vendetta plotlines, and wargames and such. Adding something major like a base or another planet to a Clan's assets is a pretty major change, and should require approval of the GM/DGM. When exactly Kangaras stopped being a scene for CNS runons and started being labeled as an official asset is what needs to be examined, really. Does anyone have a record as to how/why/when this happened, or if it was given any official approval? -- 19:53, 7 November 2007 (EST)

| Right, I created this planet fictionally and as far as the wiki went, with contributions from Macron. Though it originally was created in a runon in February 06 the idea of making a wiki came about around the time I got QUA in October 2007 and was created on the wiki shortly after in December (Because I put care into these things I plan it out first) It was originally listed as owned by Malisane but leased for free to House Ludo Kressh which I was QUA of so it was listed as allied to HLK. I changed that earlier in 2007 to CNS as a clanwide asset, and its been listed as that ever since.

| Basically its status as a CNS world is this. It was under the rule of Darth Severak and his True Brotherhood, to be known hereafter as the TB (all of which for anyone really interested myself Xanos and Macron have created wiki's for) It was captured fictionally by CNS forces lead by Muz and Macron and Malisane, and any presence of the TB was removed and Kangaras remained unpopulated. The next year (fictionally it was the same year really) Malisane (me in case you're not keeping up) decided to occupy Ushurak Keep and place his and Macrons force of Ewoks there, and moved into the keep. Legitimatley as he was the son of severak (a biological fact of birth as opposed to a clan title and not to be confused with my own father who isn't really a star wars fan like we are but likes the films) and Severak was by then officially dead as far as we were concerned Malisane had as much as a claim as anyone to have inherited the planet from him.

| He magnamimously while the owner agreed to let Clan Naga Sadow, as a true loyal member of the CNS that put puts clan hoppers in other clans to shame, to allow CNS to install a small force in Ushurak Keep and use it as a fall back position should Orian ever fall irretreivably to a hostile enemy (in retrospect he should have made that offer to the Dark Council as they lost Antei the next year but he didn't see that one coming)

| So thats it basically, the planet is aligned to CNS. Its been recorded as HLK then CNS for nearly a year now and as the wiki staff check every article to the extent that they jump on ACOs with fighters its was reasonable to assume there wasn't a problem with it otherwise someone would have said so earlier.
| |
| Its worth pointing out at this point that this is a huge load of fuss over a militarily insignifcant jungle world populated by one small force of marines, 300 ewoks and assorted none aligned hostile creatures therefore I'm enormously suprised by the sudden interest in it but thats the DB for you the sea and little fishes etc.

| | |
| Anyway hopefully that should resolve the matter and we can get on with enriching the fictional side of the Brotherhood with quality wiki entries like this one.
