| Bentre Stahoes was a Sith of inconsequential origin from the planet of Corellia. Born with the monker Bentyl Stahoes, he has carried several other names at various points in his life: Bentre Stahoes, Kairn'tel Versea, and later in life as Bentre Sadow. Early in his tenure in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Stahoes chose to associate with the Obelisk Order. This affiliation would continue until the eventual destruction of the Obelisk Order and the temple Boyna by the order of the Grand Master at the time, Darth Pravus. Though the Order is gone and he has since chosen to affiliate with the Sith Order, he still seems to consider himself an Obelisk at heart. He has been known to paint armor in the colors of the former Order and has never completely forsaken his past.

| | |
| He is a man full of pride. He is proud of his status as a member of the disciples of Sadow and his identity as a member of the Versea family and its Patriarch. This pride demonstrates it most clearly in his speech and swagger. It is especially evident in his speech and even his walk. His ego could be considered insufferable. Despite the path he has taken, Bentre has interests that extend out of just combat and power. He made a hobby out of working with datapads and computers. He continues to indulge in slicing and programming, as time permits. Bentre considers himself to be a passable Slicer and lunges at the rare opportunity to prove his mettle against the security systems which guard databases, communication systems, and holonet transmitters.
| |
| | |
| In the latter days of his membership of the Sadow Clan, Bentre became increasingly withdrawn. It would not be until 38 ABY that the machinations of the conflicted Sith would come to a head. The efforts of the Collective, the seemingly splintered nature of the Brotherhood, and the insistence of Grand Master Telaris Cantor on forming a new Sith Empire nearly caused the man to turn his back upon the Brotherhood as a whole. He even became distant to the members of his family.

| The Sadowan success on Yavin IV and acquisition of plans to act upon had to be deferred despite the wishes of the Overlord and the Clan. Before leaving the planet, the Iron Throne called upon the Overlord and the services promised, honoring the promises upheld by their head following the disaster the Sadowans suffered in the Orian system. The Fleet which had been reinforced by the Grand Master himself, and as such Bentre could not turn away from the call to action in the Lyra-3k-a system. Given the order to play the part of a show navy, the Clans gathered in the Lyra-3k-a system. At first, it seemed like the appearance was little more than diplomatic posturing. However, a false flag attack executed by brain-washed POWs under Collective control forced the Clans and Brotherhood into a bitter conflict
| |
| | |
| The Overlord, unsatisfied to play a commander from afar while his Clan put their lives on the line, prepared for war with the Collective, and potentially with the Severian Principate who had suffered the Collective attack. Naga Sadow would land at the Lyra colony, where they attempted to secure the ruins which were encased in the earth below the colony. The operation was largely successful, but it appeared that the Clan had escaped the ruins below with little more than their lives. An explosive had also caught Bentre in its radius, which heavily wounded the human, sheering both arms from his torso and leaving bloody streaks behind him. It would be thanks to the tender cares of his Clan-mates and Taka "Doc" Kuroshin that the Corellian Sith would survive the incident, however painfully. Rather than giving into the pain, or blunting it, Bentre chose to use it as a fuel for the fire which burned within him. The Clan had been wandering for long enough. During his forced inactivity during his recovery, a decision was made. The Clan had come together at the beck and call of the Iron Throne, and for their sacrifice their deserved a greater prize.

| The road to Orian was not an easy one for Clan Naga Sadow. The clandestine operations conducted by Clan Naga and the Sadowans would culminate in a final assault of the Orian system in 38 ABY. The expectation for the Clan was that the Collective would have held their former system as a bastion. Instead, they found a populace indoctrinated against their former masters, unrest in the streets, the ravages of Collective-lead experiments and disenfranchised masses. The grip of the Overlord on the Clan was slipping. Retreating to the new Massassi-styled temple of Sadow, the Sadow threw himself headlong into study of ancient texts and whatsoever he could lay his hands upon from the Brotherhood archives. This withdrawn nature would lead the Keibatsu Proconsul to depart his company, forcing him to select a new second. This is where his partnership with KogaRyu would begin.
