Reinthaler was a short lived battle team within House Tarentum. Founded by Altheseus Levathan, it was established as a response to the decree by Grand Master Muz Ashen that all six clans were to be downsized into houses, replacing the battle team Zurhidon. Despite its attempts to become a warrior-based elite team, many ideas for it, including headquarters, never materialized, and it was dissolved a year after it had been created.

History

The reasoning behind the creation of Reinthaler is somewhat vague. While presented as a replacement for the battle team Zurhidon, its true purpose was never quite fully divulged rather than continuing the namesake of one of Tarentum's great heroes. Founder and leader Altheseus Levathan intended to fully construct the team but lost himself in his dark studies inside and outside the Yridia system.

The rest of Reinthaler's history is somewhat of a blank. There are no documented missions, assignments, or tasks. Several former members do not speak of Reinthaler, whether they are ashamed to do so or they do not care for their experiences there. Reinthaler maintained no headquarters, serving as a disembodied subunit for over a year.

Toward the end of 33 ABY, Quaestor Ronovi Tavisaen Tarentae saw it fit to close two of the house's battle teams due to a depletion of Tarentum forces and a lack of new recruits. Reinthaler and Spectre were the two teams to be cut, and Reinthaler disappeared off the house's archives without much of a history to call its own.
