Originally christened the Palantir, the now Sirona served in the Dark Brotherhood's fleet when still associated with the Emperor's Hammer. When the Exodus occurred, the ship was commandeered by supporters of the split, including Kaiann. Filled with valuable books, datadisks, and other important items, the ship successfully ran the Hammer's blockade.
Upon his appointment as Headmaster, Kaiann had the ship placed under Shadow Academy control, serving as the Academy's flagship during the Sixth Great Jedi War. It served as a training vessel for new members, as well as a transport for several diplomatic missions undertaken by the Knight Commander of the Brotherhood. Under Anshar Kahn Tarentae it was renamed the Sirona. When the Mnemosyne was destroyed during the aliens' initial attack, the Sirona temporarily assumed command of the Shadow Academy fleet. During the Evacuation of Lyspair, the Sirona carried the majority of Shadow Academy weapons, generators, and supplies. Shortly thereafter, the Sirona was decommissioned and replaced by the Vespera. After the Brotherhood returned to Antei, the Sirona was placed in storage on Lyspair for its historical relevance.
