Thomas Pepoi is the son of Fremoc "Demonic" Pepoi and his mother Camille. Fremoc had sent Camille to Coruscant in fear that her life and her parents' lives where in danger because terrorists had, at that time, just blown up his house with his own parents inside. Not taking the risk of the terrorists also attacking Camille's family since she was Fremoc's girlfriend, the family packed and moved to Coruscant but little did Fremoc know that Camille was also pregnant with Thomas. Just before Thomas' birth his grandfather passed away from a traffic accident, leaving Camille and her mother by herself. When Thomas was 5, Camille committed suicide after hearing that Fremoc had been killed in a raid. Thomas was told by his grandmother that his mother died of a broken heart because she had loved his father with everything she had had. A couple of years later, Thomas was shipped off to Telos with the rest of the refugees, except for his grandmother who elected to stay behind on Coruscant as the Yuuzhan Vong attacked. When Thomas was 9, he finally met his father Fremoc who had crash landed on Telos in his X-Wing. Thomas was shocked at the revealation that Fremoc was his father, but Thomas' gut feelings told him that Fremoc was telling him the truth. Little did Thomas know that those gut feelings where actually the Force telling him that Fremoc was Thomas' father. The two traveled to the Telos main starport where Fremoc engaged two bounty hunters while Thomas ran off and watched. After killing the two bounty hunters, Fremoc and Thomas found a VCX-820 that the bounty hunters used for capturing and retrieving bounties. Fremoc brought Thomas back to Tarthos, where Fremoc explained to Thomas the Force and how his mistress, Jades Sadow, trained him and prepared him to become a knight. Jade was one of the first to meet Thomas, but not the first to know the secret behind him. Manji Keibatsu Sadow, cornered Fremoc upon returning and questioned him about how Thomas' Force presence was familiar to Fremoc's.
