In late 37 ABY, Consul Rian Taldrya and Proconsul Seraine "Erinyes" Ténama began reorganizing and expanding Clan Taldryan’s activities, to provide more opportunities for members to contribute in ways that suited their individual skills and interests, as well as extending the influence of the Clan itself. As the divisions solidified, the Clan Summit instructed each of them to send any requests they had for assistance from the Clan’s membership to the Summit, who then distributed the requests to the membership. Members were then free to choose which assignments they would undertake.

Members were encouraged to affiliate themselves with one or more divisions within the Clan. Although the divisions often favoured certain skills, there was no strict requirement that a member had to follow a particular Discipline in order to work with a division.

Divisions

Clan Operations Teams

Leadership:

  • Clan and House Summits

Affiliated Members: All

“Operations team” is a catch-all term for a group of Taldryan members operating on the orders of their Clan or House Summits, rather than one of Taldryan’s other divisions. These teams may be formed for a variety of reasons, but typically include Brotherhood-wide operations like Vendettas or missions that affect the Clan and its members as a whole.

Suggested Disciplines: Any

Community Outreach

Leadership:

Affiliated Members: TBA

Since their arrival in the Caelus System and the expulsion of the Ky’Lian Cartel, Taldryan has worked to build a strong relationship with the people of Caelus. Clan members work with the local community in a variety of ways, from operating free medical clinics in disadvantaged areas to mediating disputes and assisting Caelus Security with investigating crimes.

Suggested Disciplines: Director, Field Medic, Scoundrel, Seeker

Force Mystics

Leadership:

Affiliated Members: TBA

The Force moves in mysterious ways, it’s often said, and Taldryan’s Force Mystics work to solve those mysteries in whatever way they can. The Mystics serve as a combination of seers, sorcerers, and librarians, often working in tandem with the Lorekeeper of Taldryan to recover whatever lost knowledge and relics they can. Some Mystics also work with Taldryan’s information network, using their Force visions to guide intelligence-gathering and defend the Clan from threats.

Suggested Disciplines: Arcanist, Seeker, Sorcerer, Techweaver

Information Network

Leadership:

Affiliated Members: TBA

Formed from the merger of Warlord Vodo Biask Taldryan’s personal espionage network and SRI personnel responsible for gathering intelligence, the Information Network (or as Proconsul Ténama calls it, “Vodo’s House of Shady Deals”) is Taldryan’s spy agency. Their primary duty is to watch, listen, and report their findings back to the Taldryan Summit, while leaving direct covert action to the Clan’s operations teams.

Suggested Disciplines: Infiltrator, Scoundrel, Seeker, Shadow

Private Military Company

Leadership:

  • Division Head: TBA

Affiliated Members: TBA

Officially, the PMC is an independent group of non-Force-using bounty hunters and mercenaries, and it’s just a coincidence that many of their operations target entities that Taldryan considers dangerous or troublesome. Surprisingly, that official story is largely true. The PMC has a strong working relationship with Taldryan’s Clan Summit, to the point that the company considers Taldryan one of its “preferred clients”, and Taldryan does offer the PMC support from time to time (including both personnel and equipment). However, the company doesn’t take orders from Taldryan’s Clan Summit unless those orders come with a signed contract and a stack of credits, and they’re happy to accept work from other clients.

Suggested Disciplines: Ace, Director, Field Medic, Hunter, Weapons Specialist

Sphere of Research and Intelligence (SRI)

Main Page: Sphere of Research and Intelligence

Leadership:

Affiliated Members: Bale Andros (design consultant), Nihlus Vexrii (engineer/researcher)

Historically, SRI has served as Taldryan’s intelligence agency, having been founded as the successor to the former Taldryan Intelligence Directorate. Following their reorganisation, SRI’s covert-action function was transferred to other divisions of the Clan, leaving them free to work on technical research and development (leading some to refer to them as Taldryan’s “mad scientist cabal”). SRI still maintains some of its intelligence functions, being responsible for reverse-engineering enemy technology and developing new tools for Taldryan personnel to use in the field.

Suggested Disciplines: Scavenger, Techweaver

Taldryan Military

Leadership:

  • War Marshal: Lee Starr (NPC)

Affiliated Members:

Taldryan members who work with the Clan’s military forces function in the same way as the Jedi Generals of the Clone Wars, both leading the troops into battle and increasing their effectiveness. Non-Force-using Clan members fulfill the same role, rallying the personnel they serve with through combat experience and leadership skills instead of the Force. The size of the unit the Taldryanite is deployed varies by their rank. Novitiates nearly always accompany a senior Clan member, but may be assigned to a platoon as part of their training. Journeymen may fight alongside company-sized units, Equites typically support entire battalions, and Elders oversee regiments. Taldryan members who carried out operations in parallel to military units, rather than being embedded into a unit, were usually classified as Clan operations teams.

Suggested Disciplines: Ace, Defender, Director, Juggernaut, Field Medic, Marauder, Weapons Specialist

TEAD Technologies

Leadership:

  • CEO (Division Head): TBA

Affiliated Members: TBA

TEAD Technologies has been the "legitimate business" face of Taldryan for decades, and the Clan's move to the Caelus System has only given them more opportunities for expansion. The most recent additions to their portfolio have been the Clouzon-36 extraction operations on Perune, and the development of mining operations in the Caelus asteroid belt. TEAD also offers logistical solutions for clients located in high-risk areas, and sometimes uses independent contractors to fulfill those needs.

Suggested Disciplines: Ace, Director, Scavenger, Scoundrel, Techweaver
