Sentinel Network: Sanctuary was a House event for Odan-Urr, following on from a number of events, threads leftover from other storylines, and revelations. This saw New Tython attacked by the O'reenians in an effort to reclaim previous experiments: Fireteam Echo.
Story
During a period of relative peace, Odan-Urr was repeatedly targeted by an otherwise unknown enemy, O'reenians. Having apparently created Fireteam Echo, a group of cyborgs rescued from a derelict within the ship graveyard used to build the Endor's Triumph, their origins had been a mystery for some years. Yet, after their discovery, the O'reenians had made increasingly determined attempts to kidnap the team's members. This became apparent when a team of O’reenian commandos assaulted Facility Iota, Echo team’s home base, and did away with Echo-1 “Kintan Strider”, their leader. This was swiftly thwarted in a rescue mission supported by Kaira Rohana, a Krath that had recently allied herself with the House, and Strider had been recovered unharmed.
Undeterred by this loss, the O'reenian military amassed for a major offensive against the House. The Sentinel Network soon picked up movements in the surrounding region, indicating efforts to raid nearby allied worlds. In response to an apparently large scale attack on the planet Abrion Major, the House's two Star Destroyers, Fey'lya's Last Stand and Endor's Triumph were dispatched to repel the assault. Some hours later, it was revealed that this had been a feint, allowing for the O'reenian 7th fleet to initiate a major assault on New Tython.
With no other assets available, Seridan Brehevik opted to use Sanctuary as a means to buy time. Maneuvering the station to block their approach vector, Sanctuary would serve as their first line of defence along with its remaining squadrons. The gambit worked, and the Odanite forces were able to inflict severe damage to the far stronger invasion fleet. For several hours the two sides clashed, each steadily whittling down the other until the last of their strength was spent. While the enemy was routed, the victory proved to be pyrrhic as reports filtered in of further O'reenian ships approaching the system.
