Physical Description
Standing taller than an average human, Ihi Ariki is gaunt to the point of appearing malnourished despite maintaining perfect health. His furrowed skin is of a lighter shade of gray except around his sunken obsidian eyes where it shifts into a deep maroon.
Dissatisfied with standard ear coverings - an accessory worn by all Pau'an to protect their hypersensitive ears - he normally wears a tight-fitting hood over his bald head which covers everything except the area around his mouth. This perhaps makes Ariki look more menacing than he intends as the hood frames his large sharp teeth which have been stained by frequent consumption of raw meats.
When on official duty, including anytime he is onboard a ship, Ariki wears the standard issue officers uniform of whichever navy he serves, complete with Silver Sash worn as regulations mandate. When on shore leave he will wear sharp, but not gaudy, clothes.
