EQ3

Sith Battlelord, Obelisk Exarch, or Krath Epis (commonly known as Equite 3 or EQ3) is the eleventh rank in the Dark Brotherhood, which is awarded after demonstrating above and beyond performance as a 2nd level Equite.

It is the third rank in the Equite class, the third step down the path to Dark Side Adept.

Promotion past this rank is determined by your Clan Summit when a promotion is warranted based on performance and activity. In addition, you must meet the following requirements:

• Served successfully as Aedile or higher for 6 months,

OR

• Have trained at least one member to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. If the member in question is not in a position to train members (including, but not limited to, being on the Dark Council), there must be at least a comparable amount of activity relating to the training of others.

Upon promotion by your Clan Summit, you will reach one of three Equite ranks based on your Order.

• Sith Order: Sith Warlord
• Obelisk Order: Obelisk Primarch
• Krath Order: Krath Pontifex

History

At various times in the Brotherhood, the Sith and Obelisk name for this rank has been different. For a while Sith Warlord, now an EQ4 rank, replaced Battlelord (its position at EQ4 being filled by Sith Overlord. The Obelisk rank was originally Obelisk Battlelord, being replaced briefly by the unpopular Obelisk Crusader before being replaced again by the current Obelisk Exarch.
