Clan Vizsla is one of the seven Clans in the Dark Brotherhood currently led by Socorra Tenebrosa Nhar’qual Erinos. Vizsla was formed in 37 ABY with a goal of earning money, fame, and glory. The clan is allegiant to credits and by proxy the Iron Throne especially when they pay.
Clan Vizsla isn’t tied to the dogma of the Jedi or Sith, anyone is capable of excelling to the highest levels within it. Members are not judged based on force sensitivity, but by their ability to bring credits into the Clan’s coffers… and their own pockets. While not Mandalorian in and of itself, it operates much the same way with actions earning respect. Members are Mercenaries, Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, and just about any other profession that can turn a profit.
History
Clan Vizsla was officially opened IRL 31 May 2019, with 23 members drawn from all other clans and the Rogues. The basis of the clan was defined in the formal proposal that was accepted by the Grand Master, Telaris "Mav" Cantor, in consultation with the Dark Council, Consuls, and the Star Chamber. The founding Consul was Declan Roark, with the Proconsul being Val Cole, and the Rollmaster being Montresor.
The initial structure of the clan included two Battleteams, Wren and Saxon, being led by Rulvak Qurroc and Idris Adenn respectively.
Wren has since been made into a full house on 8 Oct 2019. The creation of Battleteam Deathwatch followed shortly thereafter.
Saxon was closed on 5 May 2021 due to a restructuring of the clan. The principle behind that restructure was that all members of EQ1 rank and above will be part of House Wren, with all remaining ranks being focused into Battleteam Deathwatch.

Clan Title
- Main article: Ad Vizsla
The Vizsla Clan Title, Ad Vizsla, is awarded at two million credits. The founding documents of the clan emphasized that the awarding of the title will only be done through an impartial and unbiased metric, rather than any sort of politics, preferences, or favours.
Military Strength
The clan is focused on the members' abilities to complete contracts. As such, the focus of any military assets is not to act as a standing navy for massive operations, but rather smaller, agile strike forces to allow for flexibility in deployments. In general, the fleet favours corvettes, frigates, and multi-purpose fighters, though some larger craft have gradually entered service.
Contracts
As a mercenary group, Clan Vizsla has participated in many conflicts, usually on the side of the greater Dark Brotherhood as a whole, though credits do hold sway in deciding who the clan members support.
Great Jedi War XIII - "Discord"
During the negotiations between The Brotherhood, The Collective, and Severian Principate a falsely flagged fleet under the disguise of the Iron Navy attacked the Lyra System. Never one to miss an opportunity for credits and a good fight Vizsla took on the fraudulent Iron Navy flagships turning them to scrap and gaining the necessary intel on “project Indigo”, The Collectives brainwashing scheme used on prisoners of war.
With Lyra Colony was still under attack by the brainwashed army those not still taking down the remaining fighters landed near the colony center and began an earnest attack on the ground forces. After assisting the Lyr-Sec forces Declan handed the intel over to Amara Cirrus securing not just double pay but future contracts for the Severian Principate.
As a result of services rendered, the clan amassed 92,985,800 credits, again proving that in chaos there is opportunity, and in opportunity, there are credits.
Notable Statistics
- The clan placed 3rd overall in the War, earning a custom weapon as a result. That weapon is a Mandalorian axe and is only available to Clan Vizsla members.
- Vizsla earned the theater victory on Lyra Colony.
- The Consul, Declan Roark, earned the title of Third Hero of the war. Then-Battleteam Wren leader, Rulvak Qurroc, earned fourth place overall as well.
- 85% of the clan participated in some manner or another, with 10 members participating in all the activity bins:

Great Jedi War XIV
As the Collective invade the Arx system Clan Vizsla received a lucrative contract to help stave off the invading forces and protect the Shroud Syndicate and their flagship the Godless Matron. Air superiority was not possible and so the clan landed the bulk of its members on the Matron itself to repel boarders as well secure any assets. During the battle, the Clan was able to requisition a Shroud Slicing Suite.
As the Planetary Shields around Arx fell the Vizsla forces, with the Matron secure, headed planetside to fulfill the second part of the contract defending the Iron Throne. Setting up a defensive perimeter in Eos City the clan fought a hard and bloody battle but eventually held the line. Their strategic positioning, cutting off one of the more direct routes to the Iron Legion command center and the lifts to the Dark Ascent, home of the Grandmaster and the Dark Council. For their efforts, the clan received a very hefty payday and the Grandmaster commissioned a suit of armor created exclusively for the members of Clan Vizsla.
Additionally, the contracts earned the clan 89,580,000 credits.

- Vizsla placed 2nd overall in the war. The clan earned a Shroud Slicing Suite to slot into a clan ship as a result of the run-on objectives. It has been fitted onto the clan ship Galaar.
- Rulvak Qurroc again earned fourth place overall.

The Tragedy of Annoyance
Vizsla clan member Juur Gogh failed at carrying an assassination contract against the former Consul of Clan Plagueis, Arden Karn, setting off a series of battles in which the Plagueis fleet invaded Zsoldos. The campaign was halted when the Dark Council intervened, directing the Plagueis fleet to redirect to Tenixir while contracting the Vizsla forces to do the same in order to free the Deputy Grand Master, Evant Taelyan.
In the end, while Plagueis may style the feud as a success, Vizsla merely remembers it as "The Tragedy of Annoyance". No serious losses were sustained by Vizsla, and the mercenary clan was able to fight the larger clan to a stand-still.
Notable Statistics
- Vizsla placed members in positions 3 through 5, with Appius Wight, Kalan Amak, and Rajhin ranking respectively in those spots. Additionally, Trenkyp Zkig placed 9th.
- The final score of the event was 161 to 163.55 in favor of Plagueis.

First Blood
In remembrance of those who had fallen in combat. Members of Clan Vizsla hosted a kote ky'ram. Members gathered in celebrations that were cut short by the disrespectful emissary of a Clan calling themselves Fero, led by a man named Cagg Tral. His second in command was his cousin and chief of operations, Sunda, who was in charge of Mimic Station located in the Stellera System.
This emissary interrupted the celebration, demanding that Clan Vizsla bend the knee to this self-proclaimed Mand'alor. Enraged by this act, the sitting Proconsul, Juda Graves beheaded this imposter and sent his head back to the leaders of Fero. Anticipating a retaliation, the Consul Korvis preemptively struck, sending the Saxon fleet to the Stellera System. The battle was quick and decisive as Vizsla's armada struck with speed and precision, quickly capturing Mimic station. Sunda was slain and Cagg had been captured by the Aedile of House Wren, Chrome, and brought to the Clan Summit. During the interrogation, Korvis and Juda learned that there was an unknown entity pulling the strings behind the curtain. Only her name, Su Well, and her species, Miraluka, were known. In addition, she was a Force Disciple with an agenda. Her desire was to secure the might of Clan Vizsla and to mesh it with her puppet army in Fero. Ultimately her plan had failed.
To battle this new threat, Clan Vizsla shifted focus and decided that pushing the attack - to drive the spear through the body, was essential as they could not allow Su Well to recuperate. But in the midst of chaos, a new player had emerged. A Dashade named Kanx, requested a ceasefire if the forces of Clan Vizsla could deliver Su Well to him. Vizsla would also be awarded with a cache of titanium that Su Well had been using to back her reinforcements. The Proconsul agreed to these terms but had no intention to deliver Su Well to Kanx.
Battle Of Mimban
After Mimic Station had been successfully captured. The Saxon fleet made for the last known location of Su Well. The swampy cesspool known as Mimban which could be found in the The Slice. A strike team consisting of Korvis, Juda Graves, Hector Von Ricmore, Occultan Iacul, Shimrah, Legion, Kintocass, Onyx, and Kasmar made planetfall. The fighting was hellacious as the force attacked a station that was heavily guarded by Fero forces and AA Towers. In order to secure aerial dominance, they pushed onward to assault the Anti-Air batteries. Successful in this campaign, they managed to destroy the towers to allow bombardment from the Saxon fleet to commence. The base was ravaged, prisoners were captured, and the planet had been plundered. Yet Su Well was nowhere to be found. The slippery Miralukan had managed to avoid detection and capture once more as she had been able to think one step ahead of her pursuers. With a cache of Titanium and the spoils of war. Vizsla did not leave empty handed, but their search for this mysterious enemy would continue. What they didn't know, was that Su Well was an oracle that had enhanced sight due to her strength in the Force. Tracking her would be far more difficult than previously anticipated.
[Great Hunt VII] Worlds Collide
Following an unexpected attack on several key assets held by Vizsla, the resulting onslaught led to the sacrifice of the Clan's Consul, Korvis Manda'vod, who perished while ensuring his team was able to escape the installation. Swearing to identify the attackers and avenge the former Consul, Socorra Erinos claimed the position of Consul swearing an oath of vengeance against the perpetrators.
