The current storyline delves into the Fourteenth Great Jedi War, as the Collective strike out at the Brotherhood once again.
The current storyline follows the emergence of a new enemy group known as The Children of Mortis. This mysterious new enemy unleashed devastation upon the Clans of the Brotherhood in the Fifteenth Great Jedi War.

Prelude: Trouble on Tenixir
Shadows Unveiled
At the order of the Grand Master, the Brotherhood undertook a massive research effort, both to understand the appearance of the Children of Mortis, and the power they wielded with their Force-embued crystals. Each of the great Clans chose their own paths to study as information about the Children was slowly learned. Comprised of three groups representing the Light, Grey, and Dark sides of the Force, this group used crystals formed from the souls of Force-sensitives to create powerful weapons, armor, ships, and organic monstrosities. All of this was done at the command of their leader, The Father, who hoped to usher in a new age of unbound Force control.

After months of discussion, The Severian Principate has requested the Brotherhood take on a number of their criminal population, including captured Collective agents from the events in the Lyra system. During the prisoner transfer, the Collective created a riot on the Principate’s prison planet of Tenixir. Brotherhood forces were sent to restore order and prevent the Collective from escaping. Additional information was relayed to the Brotherhood from prisoners within the complex itself, not wishing to be killed in the conflict.
Great Jedi War: Ascension
Chapter 1
The Council believes the Children are planning to attack Arx, their seat of power. Still rebuilding from the attack by The Collective, the system was ripe for a powerful enemy to push out the Brotherhood. Yet they were mistaken.

The Collective succeeded in freeing some of their scientists from the facility, but just barely. Their remaining forces were either killed in recaptured as the Brotherhood quickly shut down the prison riot. Due to the Brotherhood’s swift actions, the relationship between the Principate and the Brotherhood improved even more.
Launching massive crystal asteroids, the Children of Mortis unleashed hell upon the seven Clans' home systems. Each asteroid slowing at impact to create a large impact site, The Children set off to gather what research had been found on their crystals, as well as any stored crystals the clans might possess. While this assault is launched, The Father took control of The Harbinger as is his will to take a more direct hand in overseeing the attack. Avitus Oligard, praised for his insight on each of the Clans, goes to aid Saira O'Setera as she begins the birthing process.

As an act of good faith for their assistance, many of the prisoners were released by the Brotherhood. This group banded together under the lead of Rasha Hawee, becoming The Tenixir Revenants. This group has a strong hatred of the Principate, and due to the severity of the Brotherhood’s action on Tenixir is very distrustful.
Chapter 2
The Council frantically tries to comprise the data on the crystals, hoping to find a way to stop their power. Each of the Clans show different strengths and weaknesses against the Children as they defend their homes. With the asteroids safely planet side, the Children began the next phase of their conquest, activating the asteroids as "World Seeds". These seeds begin to drain the life from the planets they reside upon, causing even more crystals to grow.

While the Collective was focused on freeing their people, the Brotherhood launched their own rescue mission, recovering the captured Deputy Grand Master, Evant Taelyan, alongside three of the clan representatives that were lost in the Lyra system. Heavily tortured and in need of medical attention, they returned home to the Arx system.
Chapter 3
A method of purifying the crystals is found, and released into the Clans' systems. Each of the Clans show great strength and power as they push back the Children from their homes. In shock, the Children retreat, seemingly vanishing into an ethereal realm. Saira gives birth to a baby boy, who begins to age toward adulthood rapidly.

Chapter I
The now-purified crystals are harvested and used by the Clans to create unique and powerful tools, defenses, and weapons. The Grand Master begins his own study of the portals the Children summoned, hoping they might find a way to destroy their enemy, and find the illusive former Grand Master, Telaris Cantor.

Evant Taelyan was brought before the Grand Master, and mind probed. The Grand Master viewed Evant’s long and painful torture at the hands of the Collective before decreeing that Taelyan could return to duty as he saw fit. Taelyan’s hatred would now sustain him. The Grand Master decided it was time to put his plans for a powerful Sith Empire into motion.
A toddler child is brought before the Father, revealed at last to be a Skeleton of pure crystal. Once known as Matthias Westland, thousands of years ago, The Father appraises the toddler as an appropriate vessel.

In Collective Space, advancements had been made by the Technocratic Guild in augmenting their soldiers with an AI consciousness. These AI-enhanced soldiers work as one cohesive mind, making them very dangerous. Rath Oligard, leader of the Collective, ordered an attack on the Brotherhood with these upgraded soldiers, now that the “broken fool” was back home.
Still residing within the Cor’neria System, Rath Oligard watches streams of data regarding the Children's attack against the Brotherhood, appraising how best to use this opportunity to destroy his most hated enemy.

The new Headmistress Ciara learns of some research into the Collective’s plans with AI and the long-forgotten Ordu Aspectu’s research. At the same time Evant, having recovered from his capture arrived on the Shadow Academy’s space station, Nesolat Platform. Shortly after, the Collective began its attack, hoping to capture the station and use it to bypass the planetary shields of Arx below.

Chapter II
The Clans of the Brotherhood arrived to push back the Collective, facing off in separate theaters of war, Nesolat Platform, Mattock Station, and the Godless Matron. Under siege by experimental weaponry, however, Brotherhood-aligned forces took massive damage, resulting in the destruction of the shield gate above Eos City.

Onboard Nesolat Platform, Evant Taelyan reached the core systems, leading an arsenal of Collective forces against his own people. Utilizing the stations ejection and planetside landing capabilities, Evant led the Collective to Arx’s surface.

Additional Collective battlegroups arrived in the Arx system, including the Skylla, with Rath Oligard himself onboard. The arrival of these additional forces saw the destruction of the Brotherhood’s Resurgent-class Destroyer, the Endeavor.

Betrayed by his right hand, Telaris Cantor assured the Fist that there were additional plans in motion to prevent the Brotherhood’s destruction. The Clans of the Brotherhood were instructed to make planetfall and prepare to fight against the Collective in key locations vital to holding the system.

Elsewhere, having received a mysterious message from the Grand Master, the Seneschal left his normal duties to retrieve some old allies to fulfill the Grand Master’s plan.

Chapter III
With the Collective entrenched in the city of Eos, Telaris Cantor finally enacted his plan. Evant Taelyan arrived to kill his former master, and ensure the destruction of the Collective once and for all. Telaris used this opening to drain life from Evant to power an ancient Sith ritual. The ritual worked as a form of Battle Meditation, envigorating the Brotherhood forces while breaking down the will of the Collective. But even despite his great power, the Grand Master couldn't sustain the ritual. Asking for help from the clans to focus and combine their energies, the ritual was finally able to take hold.

As the ritual began in earnest, Rath Oligard, along with many of his upper lieutenants arrived to kill the Grand Master, who remained unmoving as he focused on the ritual. Rath Oligard was shot by his own, Chelsie Crimson, before he was able to kill Telaris. With Rath dead, and their forces being decimated, the Collective retreated from the Arx System.

Epilogue
As the Collective retreated, Atyiru arrived at the Dark Ascent, followed shortly by the Seneschal, who had been looking for her. The Grand Master's instructions had specified that key individuals would be present at the ascension of his  Sith Empire, Evant Taelyan among them. Barely clinging to life, Atyiru was able to bring Evant back from the cusp and into the world of the living.

In the Cor'neria system, Rath Oligard awoke after weeks asleep. Following his murder at the hands of Chelsie Crimson, his cousin, Avitus, drained the life from "Sparks" and used her life energy to bring the Collective Leader back to life. Enraged at finding out what brought him back, Rath clawed out his own eyes before being subdued by medical staff. Avitus fled Collective space, taking with him the crystals the Collective had been trying to collect for years.

A decisive blow has was struck in the ongoing feud between the Brotherhood and the Collective. With the death of the Technocratic Guild  leader known as Daggo Mouk—and the loss of Meridian Prime Space Station—the Collective have scaled back their harassment of the Brotherhood. Their withdrawal gave the Dark Council some much-needed breathing room to reinforce their hold on their respective territories. The continued conflicts with the Collective—combined with meeting the material needs of the Dark Council's new homeworld, fleet, and personnel—stretched the Regent's coffers thin.
Crack grew in the factions of the Severian Principate, and Tenixir Revenants. Influenced by the mystical crystals that had been recovered over the previous few years, both factions split in half, each with one favoring peace, the other all out war. War comes to them all on the planet of Dandoran.

In the hopes of reaching a  trade deal with a new partner, the Grand Master created an opportunity to meet with a new organization that could stand to be an invaluable partner for the Brotherhood. They call themselves the Severian Principate.

With the leadership of the Brotherhood shifting gears, Evant Taelyan was appointed Deputy Grand Master. His first task was to assemble a group of delegates from the seven respective Clans, and take them to the Lyra-3K-a system to meet with representatives from the Severian Principate.

As the meeting began, so did the attacks within the Lyra system. Falsely identifying as Brotherhood forces, The Collective attacked the Severian Principate hoping to completely destroy any chances of an alliance. Several Collective agents arrived at the meeting hoping to sway the Principate in their favor. Deputy Grand Master Evant Taelyan sent out an encrypted, coded message across the Advanced Inquisitorius Network (AIN) calling on all Brotherhood personal to lend aid and prevent the alliance from falling through.
At the invitation of Py'zah the Hutt, The Principate and Revenants arrive to bid on a large cache of crystals, when shots are finally fired. The Brotherhood answers both sides call with each member choosing for themselves who they would like to support. Within The Principate, there were the brutal Restorers and the peace-seeking Harmonists. For the Revenants, there was the vengeance-seeking Retributionists and the opportunistic Expansionists.

The Brotherhood managed to provide evidence that they were not the attacking force within the system, and order was eventually restored. While a tenuous alliance was reached between the Principate and the Brotherhood it came at a heavy cost. Deputy Grand Master Evant Taelyan, as well as all seven of the clan representatives, were taken hostage by the Collective.
Things became more complicated when the Restorers revealed they had melded the crystals with soldiers, creating fearsome Restoration Troopers, large lumbering beasts that were near impossible to kill. At the same time, The Seer, representing a new entity known as The Children of Mortis, brought with her Crystal Ascendants, beings also augmented with crystal but in such a way their connection to the force was magnified greatly.

Eventually, The Harmonists won the day. The Seer retreated with Avitus Oligard in tow. The Principate agreed to begin demilitarizing their armies, and the Revenants agreed to strike out to far away systems to prevent further bloodshed.

Current Storyline

The current storyline follows the emergence of a new enemy group known as The Children of Mortis. This mysterious new enemy unleashed devastation upon the Clans of the Brotherhood in the Fifteenth Great Jedi War.

Great Jedi War: Ascension

Chapter 1

The Council believes the Children are planning to attack Arx, their seat of power. Still rebuilding from the attack by The Collective, the system was ripe for a powerful enemy to push out the Brotherhood. Yet they were mistaken.

A toddler child is brought before the Father, revealed at last to be a Skeleton of pure crystal. Once known as Matthias Westland, thousands of years ago, The Father appraises the toddler as an appropriate vessel.

Still residing within the Cor’neria System, Rath Oligard watches streams of data regarding the Children's attack against the Brotherhood, appraising how best to use this opportunity to destroy his most hated enemy.

Escalation: Chapter 3

Crack grew in the factions of the Severian Principate, and Tenixir Revenants. Influenced by the mystical crystals that had been recovered over the previous few years, both factions split in half, each with one favoring peace, the other all out war. War comes to them all on the planet of Dandoran.
