She would spend her formative years from her birth to 25 ABY shrouded within the secrecy of her mother's clan. Despite her traditional upbringing Syntari was noted as having a distaste for the usual secrecy and schemes of her species' world, and up until she was fifteen years old she would quietly bear such tutelage at her mother's knee.

When Syntari was fifteen years old the world she knew would come crumbling down around her. The quiet life she had lead would go up on flames when, to her mother's shame, she was put on trial and convicted guilty for multiple murders. One of the victims would be her own father, an Umbaran of questionable social status, while others would be revealed as peers who were no younger than the fifteen year old Syntari herself. The reasons behind Cyril's abdication remain unknown, as Syntari was not privy to the details of her friends' desire for freedom. The result of her aid in this is also unknown; whether Cyril lived or died was never clear, and Syntari would never have a chance to find out. Instead the Umbaran would take Cyril's place within Clan [[Naga Sadow]] and it is there that she has remained to this day. Her life in the Clan would be filled with betrayal, heartbreak, a never-ending thirst for knowledge and the power she had lacked throughout her life, and ultimately a craving for revenge she wold never have. These events have culminated in the events of the current age, which encompasses her recent medical intervention and resulting memory loss.

If ever anyone inquired as to her comings and goings she would simply walk away from the Clan members she had once called allies, unable to recognize names or faces or even where her loyalties were cast. Curiously, Syntari seemed to lack an interest into her former life and instead invested her time in rediscovering her Force abilities; her talents now seem to be turning towards skills which would make her unseeable, talents suiting a member of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

Briefly, at the behest of Rollmaster [[Tasha'Vel Versea]], Syntari turned her sights on becoming a Blackguard for Consul [[Bentre Stahoes]], while her enemy Calenhad guarded Consul [[Ashia Kagan Keibatsu]]. Due to an emotional breakdown, the Umbaran did little with the title of Blackguard and subsequently vanished, leaving Bentre unguarded and requiring new Blackguard to be chosen in her stead. Some months later she was found a wraith of her former self, having nearly starved herself to death. Presently she has rejoined the Clan, but as Syntari doesn't have a history of sticking around, it remains to be seen if she will stay a permanent member of the Clan that she has called home for so long.

== Character History ==
Born on the planet of Zeltros, Cyril was abandoned at an early age by her father and left to die. She grew up alone and distrusting, learning to survive without the aid of others and relying only upon herself. When she was ten standard years of age she was taken in by an old Bounty Hunter with minor Force capabilities, a man whose name she did not know, who recognized her potential and took her under his wing. A remnant from the Imperial Days himself, under his tutelage she became a skilled killer taking on various contracts until the day she turned fifteen. Fearing her ever-growing Force abilities, the Bounty Hunter sent her to kill her father, who had risen to be an important public figure—she was banned from her home planet upon threat of death should she ever return. Before fleeing her homeworld she stole a vibroshiv from her father's corpse and killed her mentor, however the blade sliced into the self-destruct component of his armor and her arms and hands were badly burned in the explosion; she barely escaped with her life. Cyril, or Cy, as she prefers to be called, then spent the next year jumping from star system to star system working odd jobs and taking contracts now and then, earning a living and the beginnings of a reputation for being a silent murderess and avid learner of new material. During her wanderings she caught wind of an organization known as the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and began her search for the fabled Dark Ones, fallen Force users who, she had been told, could help her harness her abilities. After another half year of exploration she finally stumbled upon the Brotherhood...that is where her true story begins.

Cy knew she could use this place to her advantage. She viewed herself as better than everybody around her, and the haughtiness in her ice-blue eyes showed it. Of all the students around her she was the only one sitting by herself, wrapped in shadows in the corner farthest from the gaggle of newcomers. She hates people, and she makes no attempt to hide it. When it is her turn to be placed, she knows at once where she will end up and thus is not surprised to discover she is destined for House Naga Sadow, one of the few Houses later chosen to become a Clan. She did not set about making friends or allies just yet; no, it was best to save that for later. Instead she set about making a name for herself one of the non-violent ways she knew how: taking what exams she could. Not long after she joined, what seemed to her as mere months, Naga Sadow became a Clan and she became a member of House Shar Dakhan; it was after that time in which her studies increased. She was a Krath, after all. Due to her increased activity within the Brotherhood she unknowingly was granted a single medal for a competition and as her self-satisfaction rose she strove to become the best.

From then on she rose quickly through the ranks in the Brotherhood, spending a short amount of time as an Apprentice before advancing to the position of Novice. Not long after she was promoted again, thanks to her dedication and one Teu Pepoi, and earned the title of Acolyte. Though not one to brag, Cy noticed early on that she was positioned above many who had been in the Brotherhood longer than she as she scanned the Clan Roster...no, bragging would not do, especially if her assumption was incorrect, though that remained to be seen. Just after her promotion to Acolyte she was invited to be a part of House Shar Dakhan's elite battle team, The Regulators, and now regards those individuals as some of her few allies.

====Tenth Great Jedi War====

The War proved a victorious competition for Cyril, as she not only gained higher prestige among her Clan and House but received a few awards--the Seal of Decimation and a Bronze Novae--as well as her most prized possession. Not long after the War ended, she was contacted by Mirado Pepoi L'eonheart and Locke Sonjie bearing the news of her induction into the elite of the Dakhani Corsairs. They then proceeded to present her with the Corsair hilt, a ceremonial ring adorned with Adegan crystal, and a Writ of Marque—all in recognition of her efforts toward the War and for being one of the most active Journeyman in the Brotherhood. Designed by Jeric Cyrin and Macron Sadow, she wears both pieces with pride and extreme honor, even taking them with her upon her desertion of the Brotherhood.

In the words of Mirado Pepoi L'eonheart: "May no Journeyman question your status as elite among them as you display this marker..."

A Kiffar-Zabrak half breed, Vaeris Rune is a member of Clan Scholae Palatinae who refuses to affiliate with a House. In appearance he is tall and rather thin, with lean muscle that is, truth be told, barely noticeable these days; his shaggy, dark brown hair hangs to his shoulders and hides the burned, scarred remnants of the horns that once crowned his head in proud spikes. Of the original ten, only 4 remain, with the rest broken or burned to stubs that are beyond repair. A scholar by trade and a recluse by choice, he tends to avoid company and is more of a ghost than a truly functioning member of Brotherhood society. His past is a mystery to him, but if one digs deep enough, one can find answers.

His father, a native to Kiffu, vanished without a trace when Vaeris was very young, resulting in his Zabrak-Dathomiri witch of a mother to spirit him away to her homeworld. For the first seven years of his life he was little more than a slave in a clan where his mother's prestige did little to help him; while he was never treated with unnecessary cruelty, he was nevertheless little more than an object. Despite this, his time with his mother's clan was the closest he would ever come to a normal childhood: he had friends, he picked up the ways of the Force by eavesdropping, and all in all he lived as comfortable a life as was possible for a slave amongst Dathomiri witches.

Not to say that he was by any means a normal child. Even at a young age he tended towards bouts of explosive anger that resulted in bizarre things happening without him being aware of them; once, in full view of the older women of the clan who had been fond of him before this instance, a tree in his line of sight exploded in spectacular fashion. Recognizing the Force in him yet bound by clan rules, the women refused to train him and instead threatened to feed him to the largest and ugliest rancor they possessed. He learned to keep his emotions to himself after that, and never questioned why he was not killed outright. Quite possibly they were afraid of him no matter his age but being so young he never bothered to find out.

What he learned of the Force was all theory, however, and would not be of any use until much later. Whether his mother or any of the other females in the clan were ever aware of his eavesdropping he never knew, as shortly after he began doing so, he would be removed from Dathomir for good. It would not occur to him that he could return and by the time he considered it, what remained of his clan would not remember him--nor would they tolerate his presence if they did.
