The [[Reclamation of Judecca]] was a [[Scholae Palatinae]] event that reclaimed the [[Cocytus System]] back from the Vong who had taken over during the [[Eighth Great Jedi War|Incursion]]. [[Proconsul]] [[Phoenix Olkyssagh Palpatine]] proclaimed himself as [[Consul]], and Emperor of the System near the start of the war since he easily recognized the early signs of insanity that [[Braecen Kaeth]] was showing. Lucien was named as his Proconsul, with the reopening of [[Dorimad Sol]] and the appointment of new leaders throughout the Clan, although [[Acclivis Draco]]'s Summit was not touched. Over the course of several days, Scholae Palatinae gradually retook the system, and reclaimed [[Antenora]], [[Caina]], [[Judecca]] and [[Ptolomea]].

== History ==
=== Gathering the Dead ===
The conquest of the Cocytus System had resulted in the deaths, and disappearances, of many members, including Niemand 'Duda' Machweg, and the Knight Class Envoy, [[Zeron]]. As the order from the Grand Master for a general retreat was received aboard the Excidium from the Consul, Braecen, before he announced that the Clan would be pushed to their limits as they would reclaim the System that was theirs. The amusement in the tone of voice of the Krath to [[Thran Occasus|The High Admiral]] issuing orders to attack both Vong fleets, at this point Phoenix recognized the insanity in the Consul and decided to take over the [[Clan]]. Upon Phoenix's announcement to Scholae Palatinae, he also reopened [[Dorimad Sol]] with [[Koskian 'Psyko' d'Tana]] as Quaestor.

Despite Braecen's removal from Consul, between him, [[Thran Occasus|Thran]] and Natth a'Niel, the preparations of Scholae Palatinae's forces began aboard the Excidium, as the ship neared the system. The plan marked ''Operation Thunder Foot'' included pulling the majority of the fleet past the first Vong vessel before setting off for the second fleet. There were two platoons under Braecen's command that boarded the world ships, placing warheads that were then linked to a dead man's switch.

Two of the three Battleteams of [[Caliburnus]], [[Souls of Darkness]] and [[Nightmare Squadron|Nightmare Brigade]], had been called to assist their recently appointed [[Quaestor]], [[Rasilvenaira StormRaven]], in an attack on [[Dynasty Station]], in order to reclaim it for House Caliburnus. Despite the Vong's loathing of technology, they had seemingly managed to take note of the strategic importance of the Space Station.

=== Rescue at the Shrine ===
A small team of Dark Jedi went on a hunt to find three unnamed members who had been captured, and were being held, at the Shrine on [[Judecca]]. The Shrine had reportedly been cleansed according to Vong standards, as fauna and flora that had never been seen before in the galaxy now roamed free around the Shrine, and pockets of Vong were said to be stranded on the planet. The reports from the three unnamed members, suddenly stopped after a few days of reporting difficulties, at which point orders were issued by the Grand Marshall that the members were to be brought back, and the Shrine secured.

After three kilometers of nothing being found, the team were found by four Vong, forcing them into battle, with the victory of the Palatinaes as the outcome, though the final Vong was killed by Daniel Stephens's lightsaber in an attack to the groin in a stroke of luck. On the last leg of the mission, signs became more and more overt about the Vong inhabitation due to appearances of a recent battle, some of the most obvious things being laser scores on the ground, razor bugs in trees, and the final thing that caught the group's attention was a large pool of greenish-black blood.

Upon approach to the Shrine, the three missing members were spied upon tied to a tree, with three Vongs guarding them, and each taking their turn in beating the Jedi. The appearance of the situation was that the captured Dark Jedi had taken out a few Vong before their capture. The Vong were shot from the trees, all three instantly dying at the base of the tree as the members were released from the tree and watered and fed before being returned to base.

=== Attack on Dynasty Station ===
One part of Operation Dragon Claw. The attack was at first set to be on the moon of [[Ptolomea|Alberigo Outpost]], though this was changed shortly before the attack was to commence to the Dynasty Station, upon review that it would provide a more strategic placing for CSP. Carried out on the Quaestor's orders, Souls of Darkness and Nightmare Brigade went in for an attack on the station assisted by the 4th Legion. The TIE/DS and assault ships lead the fighters to the Space Station while the Quaestor and Aedile stayed back on the ''[[Valkyrie]]'', and waited until the reports came through that it was clear to land.

After several hours of battle, one of the ports were cleared for the landing of the ''Valkyrie''. Upon unloading with extra support, the last few pockets of Vong on the Space Station were wiped out within a few days and Dynasty was secured back into Caliburnus's hands.

=== The Valley of Silence ===
Another part of Operation Dragon Claw. The Valley of Silence protects the House from a full Frontal round attack, and held several gun emplacements with the idea that it would stop it from falling into enemy hands. However, the Vong had taken hold of these gun emplacements. Using 4 companies that were named Alpha Coy, under Adam Anderson, Bravo, under [[Timbal]], Charlie, under [[Impetus]] and Delta under Natth a'Niel, the Vong were attacked once all companies were in place.

The attack however, was of no surprise to the Vong, especially since the companies were all in view. The Vong had also learned of the way that the Dark Jedi fought, thus making it to achieve the two objectives made it harder on those fighting. Once the Vong had been pushed into the center of a horseshoe in the valley, the order to set off air-blasts was given. Many of the Dark Jedi that were amongst the command troops had dropped further and further back away from the main fighting, and were heading back towards the command station when it was detonated. Many members were lost when the ground gave way.

=== Vongforming ===
The Sanyassan Race, which were considered to be Vongforming in that another race had been conquered and converted by the Vong, had been attacked at the Shrine and defeated. On the shuttle to the Base, the plans were explained for the next attack on the Vong Terraforming Station after regrouping with the 9th Legion, 303 Infantry Division.

At first, a section of the team in a group of four that were sent out only encountered one Vong, which soon grew to four, as their fight attracted the unwanted attention of these Humanoids. As soon as another group came to their aid, the four Vong fell swiftly, leaving the path clear to enter the Terraforming Station.

From the center outwards, the path was direct to take the Station, though it was frequently interrupted by fights with the Vong. Once they had retaken the Station, and released the few prisoners that they had found, and saw the effects of the start of the Vong forming process that was being inflicted by the Vong. The team of sixteen had been worn down to eleven, and the Station was now under control.

=== The Abandoned Temple ===
Braecen lead a group, Delta to the abandoned temple under the order of Natth a'Niel and Thran Occasus, that the Vong had set themselves up inside there, in a hope to unlock the secrets held inside to use for their own gain. On the way, the ship followed a space battle and destroyed two of the ships in a bomb raid; however this cost around 70 men of the 120 strong group.

Once landing on Ohmen, the group soon came in contact with the Vong. While fighting, a Yuuzhan Vong charged with his aim for the Krath who appeared to have no idea about it, Fenix shot the Vong down in three blaster shots. As soon as the conflict was finished, Braecen delved into the Temple and sort out a familiar Force user that he had sensed while fighting.

Once the Pontifex had located the user, he was faced with a prone form of Arania Lawakiro Palpatine, who had disappeared at the end of the Sixth Great Jedi War. The Dark Jedi Master had been altered by a Shaper, and Braecen brought Arania back onto the ship to return with to Phoenix.

=== Cleansing the Blood Forest ===
The small and selected team of Dark Jedi that composed of the [[Souls of Darkness]], with [[Rayne Victae]], [[Yzarc Rellik Kaeth]] and [[Yeldarb Vohokou]], their mission that had been laid out in front of them by the Quaestor was to capture a shaper, while ensuring the Vong did not get past the Blood Forest.

As night fell and the team of twelve had split into two groups, each waiting to enter the Vong base, and armed with the plan of one group to distract as the other planted charges and captured the Shaper. There were around a dozen warriors at the base, which spotted one group sooner then expected and a sudden battle broke out.

Once the battle was over, Malaki was left to cover the entrance in a sniper position, as the Aedile left to fetch the transport, and the remained of the group entered the compound. Three members were then instructed to obliterate the place, as the others departed in search of the Shaper.

Though capturing the Shaper resulted in injuries across the quartet that had gone in search of him, they overpowered him and dragged him out of the compound.

=== The Temple of Rakata ===
The Vong had infiltrated the Temple, where many of Acclivis Draco's house artefacts were stored. There is also a source of great power located in the area which is of great importance to the House. Quickly unloading from the ships, the Dark Jedi and the Forces soon broke into the temple through two of the entrances. The Shamed ones and Chazrachs were soon slaughtered due to lack of armor, and lack of warning that they had received. The first group of warriors did not fare any better against the Forces, as the Acclivis Draco members knew the corridors and terrain of the temple much better then their assailants.

Once they had entered into the Main Chamber, the Warriors took longer to kill then the previous group, but the Forces soon overpowered the Vong as the floor became slippy with black blood. Once the Vong were defeated there, the small group of Dark Jedi gathered on a keystone in the center, before Cuchulain tapped into the center, and the keystone sunk into the vault below the Main Chamber. It was thought that the Vong had forced their way in due to the reaction of the Pontifex.

No Vong were found until the Jedi entered the Burial Chamber. Around twenty warriors surrounded two sarcophagi, and a female Vong Shaper. A vicious onslaught occurred, taking out all but two of the Vong, and three of the Dark Jedi. The amphistaff of the Shaper took out another Jedi, leaving the Quaestor and Aedile to fight her. A skirmish between [[RevengeX Palpatine|RevengeX]] and the Shaper ensued, which ended in [[Cuchulain Darkblade Palpatine|Cooch]] pulling a tentacle that was attached to the nerves and hitting her across the back of the head with his Hurley Stick.

=== The Vong Base on Caina ===
Forces from the House of the Rising Sun were soon able to locate the leader of the Vong forces on Caina. The Shaper had plans of using the vast minerals and almost limitless supply of water on Caina to create a new fleet capable of conquering the Republic and Brotherhood alike. While fierce battles raged on between the dwindling forces of the renewed house and the Vong, Quaestor Koskian d'Tana recruited a single Dark Knight who had already proven himself against the invaders many times.

It was with the help of [[Prajna Berkana]] that the two infiltrated the Shaper's base, under the cover of fog created by melting ice. Once inside, the Obelisks surprised many Yuuzhan Vong Warriors with Force-enhanced speed and stealth. Finally they confronted the Shaper and several body guards. As Koskian was wounded, Prajna was empowered by loyalty and fear, destroying the remaining troopers near by and capturing the Vong leader.

Upon returning to the base, integration of the Shaper occurred, though the Vong refused to co-operate and insisted on speaking to the Grand Master. The Dark Jedi Knight persisted with threats of death that did nothing to help, since it would only honor their gods. The Shaper was soon transported to where the Consul wanted him.

=== Et tu Brutus ===
The clan was preparing for the impending attack from the Vong, with the Jedi being prepared should the fighters fail on their attack. The Forces were gathered around the comlinks as news came through on the fighter's attack, though most of the fighters were lost, only one of the four Vong ships survived.

Once on [[Judecca|Brutus]], the Vong raged forward, knowing that it would be honourable to die in battle for their gods. The combat was heavy on the Forces, as the floor became thick with different colors of blood from those who had fallen. Once the Vong had all been slain, only a few members of Scholae Palatinae remained, looking dazed before making their way back through the oozing mess of bodies.

=== Search and Destroy ===
Commander Ail'en Sommetra was in charge of the ship, when the order was given by Braecen to chase the remains of the Yuuzhan Vong ships. Though she had shared her concerns with the condition of the ''[[Excidium]]'' to Braecen and Natth a'Niel, though both had dismissed her and told her to do the best that she was able to. The insanity of the former Consul meant the fleet was following the Vong with a reckless abandon. The order was given to deploy fighters when enemy coralskippers were found coming in, the ''[[Ogmio's Whip]]'' was weakened by it. The coralskippers that had gotten past Thran's fighter attack ships, headed for the ''Excidium''. The ''[[M/CRV Victory|Victory]]'' was destroyed shortly before the ''[[YCHT Emperor's Will|Will]]'' arrived, which looked half-wrecked. Once all the fighters had docked, the fleet leapt into hyper drive to avoid further attack and destruction.

Upon arrival back into the Clan Space, assistance from the ''[[STRKC Dark Predator|Predator]]'', ''[[M/CRV Palpatine's Hammer|Hammer]]'' and ''[[M/STRKC Valkyrie|Valkyrie]]'' was requested. However, the Vong ships had followed the remaindered of the fleet back. The ''Valkyrie'' and ''Hammer'' turned on the Yuuzhan Vong fleet, as the ''Predator'' enclosed on the gathering. Within minutes, the ''Valkyrie'' was destroyed through a snap to the spine, and shortly afterwards the ''Hammer'' was also gone, with the ''Predator'' severely weakened. As the escape pods were deployed from both the ''Predator'' and the ''Excidium'', the Vong fleets moved in closer, and aimed for their targets, taking both the ships out.

Shadow Gate is a [[battleteam]] within [[House]] [[House Qel-Droma|Qel-Droma]] that was founded in 31 ABY during the "Project: Reb00t" initiative. One of three battleteams currently in service under the Qel-Droma banner, it was created and founded by [[Driftan Housan]], primarily as a resource to test the up-and-coming Dark Jedi to find out if he is worthy of ascending the ranks of leadership within the Brotherhood.

This unique battleteam has also been tasked with overseeing and directing the economic ventures within House Qel-Droma, causing the leadership to seek out members who are less prone to jump into the fray of a battle, and more suited to working on the long-term plans and strategies of the [[Clan Arcona|Shadow Clan]]. Many look at Shadow Gate as inferior because of their unique designation, but true to the teachings of the Sith, this battleteam understands how to best use their resources for the Final Way, and allow others to be ground under foot on the path to ultimate power.

==Armor==
Shadow Gate’s members use armor on those riskier missions when dealing with the hutts, smuggling artifacts and the occasional run ins with space pirates. The entire armor is made up of Dura-steel plates that link together over a padded jump suit. Each helmet contains a internal comlink, infrared vision, motion sensors, and targeting sights. Also each member carriers one “hold out” blaster pistol as a side arm and a E-11 blaster rifle as the main weapon. The suit has a utility belt and carriers extra power clips for both rifle and pistol. Built in side each belt there is a personal cloaking devise. The cloaking devise only last for a short while until they need to be recharged.

Shadow Gate has been charged with overseeing and operating the economic entities within House Qel-Droma. Specifically, Shadow Gate has its fingers in the smuggling of ancient artifacts for the traditionally [[Krath]] house, as well as working hand-in-hand with [[House Galeres]] to trade the Garconian spice with the Hutt contacts Shadow Gate has developed.

====Founding====
The foundations for the creation of Shadow Gate were laid in late 31 ABY. Tension abounded in the halls of both houses of [[Clan Arcona]]. Everyone sensed that major change was on the horizon, and every Dark Jedi knew that change could spell life or death, fortune or despair for all involved. Strategos Arconae had just stepped down as [[Consul]], and [[Sashar Arconae]] had resumed his roll as Consul, albeit in an interrim basis. The House Summits of both Galeres and Qel-Droma had been summoned to the great Citadel on [[Selen]], and word had been sent to all members of House Qel-Droma to return to [[Arconae Primus]] at once to await word of what was to come.

Upon return from the clan headquarters, [[Quaestor]] [[Legorii Kryotek Entar]] and [[Aedile]] [[Sanguinius Tsucyra]] summoned [[Cethgus Kuga]], [[Kant Lavar]] and [[Driftan Housan]] to a secret meeting. It was reveled to these three that they had been chosen to lead the new [[Battleteam|battleteams]] being created to serve the overall purpose and mission of House Qel-Droma. Cethgus would lead ''Wolf Guard'', the muscle of the house, typically the first unit sent in when full-scale battle was necessary. Kant would lead ''Oblivion Brigade'', the covert operations and intelligence arm of the house, renown for their ability to get the job done without leaving any traces. And, Driftan would lead ''Shadow Gate'', the economic engine of the house, skilled at acquiring any necessary object for the house and having its hands in any number of business ventures.

Utilizing funds stashed away for such improvements to the House, Driftan commissioned an addition to be built that would house the new battleteam and act as the command center for operations of Shadow Gate. This facility is officially known as the ''Shadow Gate Operational Command Center'' (SGOCC), but is known colloquially as "The Sock". It was also during this time that Commander Housan brought in two outside specialists to aide the team in achieving their goals: an experienced business man, Sir Hanson Kryloth III; and a master slicer, Jackson Shinner.

Now, as the pieces fall into place, the members of Shadow Gate wait to be unleashed upon the foes of Qel-Droma and the galaxy at large, eager to make their mark and earn a place of honor within the hallowed halls of Clan Arcona.

On October 15, 2009 [[Proconsul]] [[Braecen Kaeth]] sent en email to Clan Arcona informing the clan that major changes were being made to how the clan was being organized and run. The reorganization was known as "Project: Reb00t", and the two main aspects of the reorganisation were that leaders are going to be held to a much higher standard, and that every member in the clan must be in a battle team.

The desired effects of this change are many, but the highlights included making battleteams relevant again by placing all members in a team, thus making Battleteam Leaders a position of true leadership and authority; creating a system where leaders are trained and evaluated on their performance, making Arcona known as a unit with skilled and active leaders; and most importantly, once again placing the members' needs at the forefront of leadership, where members have much more one-on-one time with their leaders, and leaders are expected to be proactive with the needs of their members.

As part of this new system, three new battleteams were created in House Qel-Droma to serve the membership. Shadow Gate is one of those teams, and Driftan Housan was chosen to lead the team because of his activity since joining the house and desire to be a leader within the clan. To balance Driftan's inexperience, former [[Consul]] [[Strategos Thanatos Arconae|Strategos Arconae]] was assigned as the new battleteam's Senior, a position created to give insight and guidance to new Battleteam Leaders.

As part of the continued expanding and organization of the House, a new structure was erected near the existing House Temple. Commissioned by Driftan Housan, this new building houses the operational command center for Shadow Gate and the myriad of support staff needed to fulfill the mandate of the new [[battleteam]]. The new facility has been dubbed “The Sock” by the members assigned to work there, a bastardized term taken from its official designation; ''Shadow Gate Operational Command Center'' (SGOCC).

Unlike other battleteams that focus primarily on the art of battle, Shadow Gate’s facilities were specifically designed with its primary mission at heart. Because of this, the SGOCC does not contain any hand-to-hand training areas or meditation centers, thus forcing the members of Shadow Gate to use the House facilities in the main base. Some may see this as a drawback and disadvantage to Shadow Gate, but the SGOCC makes up for this lack in many other ways.

Upon entering the SGOCC, one must pass through a series of security checkpoints before being granted access to the main portion of the facility. A platoon of soldiers from [[Dajorra_Defence_Force#Arconae_Primus|Division VIII]] within the [[Dajorra Defense Force]] have been assigned as permanent guards for the SGOCC, all thoroughly vetted to ensure their loyalty to the House due to the sensitive nature of their responsibilities.

After passing through security, one enters the main hub of command and control within the SGOCC. The center of the room is dominated by a large central processor, connected by secure and protected cables to the main Qel-Droma base, giving Shadow Gate access to the most up-to-date and secret information available to any team in the Clan. The central processor also allows members of the team away on missions to speak with anyone in the facility through a state-of-the-art hologram system that actually lets the members move and communicate from one room in the building to another.

Spread around the rest of the main room are a myriad of computer stations, communications centers and data screens, all providing up to date information on the different missions, trades, or financial institutions that Shadow Gate may be running at any given time.

At the rear of the facility is a massive conference room dedicated to the strategic planning and operational oversight of the entire enterprise. This is typically where Shadow Gate briefings are held and missions are assigned to members of the team. The conference room is also protected with state of the art electronic counter-measures and security devices, making it a virtual bunker for the team in terms of informational security.

[[Wiki Tribune]] (T:W)—The [[Wiki Tribune]] is responsible for the administration, development and editing of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood Wiki (Wiki). The Wiki has been established as a repository for all knowledge related to the Dark Brotherhood, and the Wiki Tribune must work with Dark Brotherhood members to ensure fair and accurate articles are recorded. The Tribune is in charge of all standards and guidelines used for editing and creating Wiki Articles. In addition, the Tribune and his staff will edit articles to bring them to standard with similar Wiki entries. The Wiki Tribune ensures quality control and acts as the primary editor of the Wiki. When in an Infobox, it depreciates the Infobox. A note can be added at the bottom of the page OR you can put it in like so: <nowiki>|image= [[Image:Crest.png|Created by: Ethran Sayre Isradia]]</nowiki>. Also, we don't use links to images outside the wiki - upload the image to the wiki or one of the other Sysops will remove the link more than likely. Brandon Rhea: As far as I'm concerned, Tron has expressed openness to outside sources helping improve the wiki, but the fact that he wishes for contact or approval first should not be unacceptable. Furthermore, it is a daunting task to keep track of every single member's sourcing. Whether it be movie stills, art pieces - the fact remains is that they are open on the internet, and not everyone can keep track of the names and sources. Keep in mind, Tron has taken your work into account by creating his own Template format with sourcing images, and some members are beginning to use it. **I found the one on Zeon harsh too, he removed a 4 month old notice about preview from his talk page, and was banned for a day without a warning while he was working on his page. ***First, as regards Vai Azexel, he already had 2 warnings in that matter on his talk page. The warnings do not have to be in the same time period, it is like getting 3 traffic citations you don't always get them all at the same time. If you look at [[User talk:Vai Azexel]] you can see that Rev gave him one and I've given him one before. As per the [[DJBWiki:Editing Policies#Banning|Editing Policies]] this was his 3rd warning and so he received a 3 day ban. As for Zeon, he removed a warning on his talk page - how are the Staff supposed to keep track of offenses if the users are allowed to erase them? A one day ban seemed suitable. ****Let's not go nuts, we're not going to CoJ you for abuse of power, merely commenting that handing out bans like candy might not be a good way to make using the Wiki a more enjoyable and more productive task. In the case of Zeon, he probably didn't realise that making a few edits in quick succession would warrant a permanent mark on his discussion page, especially when it's pretty evident that he's now using the preview button. I may be looking at this the wrong way, but I feel a ban of any length for a first offence for something as insignificant as that unsuitable. If we're gonna want people to enjoy using the wiki, banning people for silly stuff like removing 4 month old messages that they've learned from probably isn't the way to go about it. I've noticed the recent changes getting gradually smaller and smaller, and it's probably because of stuff like this.

It's wrong for a member to remove a 4 month old now-redundant note, and warrants a 1 day ban from working on his page, delaying its progress, however us as staff members are supposed to remove images less than a day after hosting if they're not yet used, but will be. I personally think we need a complete overhaul of how we react towards the members. Zeon probably won't remove staff notices again, but if I were in his position, I wouldn't have much motivation to do anything else on the wiki either.

As with Vai Azexel, he made 7 edits over the course of an hour, 9 over the course of two. Who really cares? Honestly? I know it's to make it easier to keep track of the recent changes, but with the amount that people use the wiki page, we get 4 different days on one screen anyway, it's hardly arduous enough to scroll down a few lines for us to ban people for 3 days for making us do so. Maybe 20 or 30 we could think of taking action, cause that takes up half the window and probably breaks the day into two pages, giving us the task of pressing the next page button, taking almost as long as banning them for doing it, but 9 edits is nothing. Paige was born in Amarillo, Texas on 1/27/1993, at the time of 1:27 am. She attended Paramount Elementary until 3rd grade. While there, she got involved in various sports from an early age, including track, basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, and gymnastics. After just a few years, she dropped most of her sports, only continuing in soccer and gymnastics. Paige also discovered her love of art at the local Chick-Fil-A, where one of the highschool art teachers would give lessons in drawing and painting every Tuesday.

Paige moved to the small town of Kerrville, in June of 2002. The differance between Amarillo and Kerrville was great. For one, Kerrville's population was just under 20,500 while Amarillo's population reached 174,000. The population change created several problems for Paige as she grew older, as friendships were already tightly knit and there weren't enough geeks to hang out with.

=== Highschool ===

School up until Highschool had been relatively easy to get through with good friends and few friends. However when she started highschool things took a turn for the worse as far as the social aspect went. By this time she had been an avid fan of Star Wars for 2 years and her classmates had finally stopped giving her strange looks everytime she mentioned Star Wars.

Currently, Paige is a Junior in highschool, maintaining a 4.0 GPA while getting college credits and learning her third language. She is, at the moment, making plans to graduate a year early, in 2010, instead of with her class in 2011. If she can pull it off, she plans on going to the local private college, Schreiner University, to get her core classes out of the way before going off to a larger college somewhere in the East.

===Discovering Star Wars===

Paige first learned about Star Wars when her parents took her and her sisters to Disney World in 2004. Because her parents were trying to avoid the "Gay-Days" at the different themeparks, they just so happened to go to MGM Studios on a Star Wars Weekend. When her parents asked her if she knew who these characters were or about the movie, Paige answered no. Her mom's fateful last words were, "Oh, well you should watch Star Wars sometime."

However she didn't watch Star Wars until Ep. III Revenge of the Sith came out in theaters. She went to go see it one day out of curiousity and has been hooked since.

== Personality ==

Paige is a very quiet, introvert kind of person. She prefers to listen to people rather than to talk, though she will speak up if she has something important to say. If it's not important she usually will not talk about it. Many people believe her to be shy or aloof however when she's with her kind (Geeks, SW fans, conventioners) she breaks out of her shell and fits in fine. She cares deeply for those close to her. However, Paige is somewhat paranoid in trusting those who she doesn't know, often positioning herself to where no one can walk out of her line of sight and often carries two knives with her to all places besides school.

However, despite her trust issues and quiet nature, Paige is not ashamed or afraid to admit her differences, believing that being yourself and not letting society dictate who you are is far better then being part of the crowd or having a lot of friends.

The '''[[Starwars:Dual-phase lightsaber|dual-phase lightsaber]]''' is an extremely rare variant that incorporates an adjustable blade of two distinct lengths, often of different colors. It is usual for the second length to be longer, if not double, the length of the ordinary blade, though there is nothing preventing the user from aligning the [[starwars:Crystal|crystals]] in order for the second blade to be of appreciably shorter length.

The use of a dual-phase lightsaber should not be taken lightly and they typically require intensive training to be used efficiently. Like many of the more common [[lightsaber]] variants such as the double bladed variety a dual-phase lightsaber can be more a danger to the adherent than his opponent if he is inexperienced in its use. This is especially true for extended blades where the additional length can make the weapon ungainly and awkward to wield properly during combat. In the past many who have built dual-phase lightsabers have come to reconsider their usefulness and taken to using the extended blade more for purposes outside combat than during a duel.

The weapons are rare primarily due to the rarity of the [[starwars:Lightsaber crystal|focusing crystals]] required in their construction. The variable phase emitter means the crystals must be able to handle much greater power outputs and be constructed with a level of precision far greater than even that needed for an ordinary [[lightsaber]]. The criteria for awarding [[Dark Side Scroll]]s for activity on the DJBWiki is touch and go (currently not even in practice). The Dark Brotherhood is an environment where members participate in an activity and are rewarded for said activity and when rewards do not come the user [[member]] is reluctant to do that activity again.

Koryn Thraagus started out his life as any other - a child. He was born on [[starwars:Kuat|Kuat]] and lived a good life. His father was an extremely successful merchant - too successful some would say. Koryn believed that he sold black market goods, but it was never proven. His older brother was in the [[starwars:New_Republic_Defense_Fleet|New Republic Defense Fleet]]; a lieutenant. In his early teen years, his father left his family for dead, Koryn included. His father had beaten them all to near death when he was drunk one night. Or at least Koryn's mother would like to have believed he was drunk...

Koryn vowed to avenge them by killing his father. When his mother and brother tried to stop him, Koryn killed them in a fit of rage, a decision he has not looked back on since. He slit his own mother's throat, and stabbed his brother through the heart. As the blade ripped into his mother's throat, Koryn felt an overwhelming sense of power. Perhaps that is why he killed his brother, too.

Koryn then travelled the galaxy in a ship he stole from a pirate. The Silver Palar. Eventually his father was found on [[starwars:Sullust|Sullust]]. He had gone to Sullust in hope of escaping his past life and so became a miner. Koryn choked his father to death using a power that he now understands to be the Force. He finally felt he had avenged his family as his father's screams echoed out into the night sky.

When he was once again aboard the Silver Palar, Koryn realised that he had a knack for hunting and decided to become a bounty hunter. Koryn's favourite weapon of choice at this time was an old [[starwars:Dc-15a|DC-15A blaster rifle]], a relic from the [[starwars:Clone_wars|Clone Wars]] and the only object he had kept from his past life. It had been left to him by his grandfather who claimed he acquired it in a tense, nail-biting game of [[starwars:Pazaak|Pazaak]]. Koryn was never quite sure of this as his grandfather was but a humble shopkeep. Koryn presumed that it had been stolen and then sold on to his grandfather. But as a child, he had always enjoyed hearing the story.

Over the years he took on many jobs from many different clientele. None moreso than the [[starwars:Hutt|Hutts]]. The ruthless gangsters always wanted someone killed from rival gangs and traders to petty crooks and degenerate gamblers. Koryn only ever accepted half of the credits awarded to him from the Hutts though, and they loved him for it. They gave him more and more assignments because of this and Koryn soon became a favourite hunter for them.

=== It's Just Business ===

Koryn soon matured into a fine young Rodian and soon became bored of the bounty hunter life. He travelled to [[starwars:Onderon|Onderon]] where he set up a repair shop. He gained a respectable amount of business and, in turn, a respectable amount of credits; not as much as the nobles but he was comfortable all the same. Soon, the inevitable happened, and a rival set up a shop across from Koryn. Seemingly unaware that Koryn was an ex-bounty hunter, the rival Ikotchi constantly mocked and taunted him. One evening, Koryn watched the Ikotchi leave his store. He grabbed the vibroblade that he had forged himself and followed his rival through the dark streets. The Ikotchi turned down a narrow side street and Koryn struck quickly. The small Rodian overpowered the unsuspecting shopkeep and pulled the blade to the Ikotchi's throat: "As all repairmen should know, not all things can be fixed." Koryn had whispered before spilling the blood of his rival.

=== A Meeting And A Betrayal ===

Not long after the night he had murdered his rival, Koryn was called away on business to [[starwars:Nar_Shaddaa|Nar Shaddaa]]. His client had asked to meet in a cantina. Upon entering, he ordered a glass of [[starwars:Juma_juice|Juma Juice]] at the bar. A human came and sat down next to him who turned out to be his client. The client introduced himself as Torak Occasus and announced that he was a distant cousin of Koryn. It turned out that Torak didn't even have any business and it was just a ruse to get Koryn to meet with him. Torak then told him that he could feel the power within Koryn. Koryn learnt of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood of which his cousin was already a member.

Somehow, Koryn and Torak managed to get into a fight with two humans. The cousins killed the humans; no-one really cared on Nar Shaddaa. The humans were probably thugs or petty criminals anyway. But Koryn never expected his cousin to betray him. After Koryn had run one of the humans through with his blade, Torak swung his sword. The glistening, blood stained blade ripped through Koryn's left arm. The Rodian collapsed from the pain. But he clearly heard his cousin's words before he blacked out: "Feel that? That pain? Get used to it. You'll likely feel worse than that in your lifetime." Koryn had contemplated and meditated over these words many times, both before and after he joined the Brotherhood. When he awoke, the Rodian found that his arm had been replaced with a cybernetic model; Koryn always presumed this was the work of his cousin - an apologetic gift - but he never proved it.

== A Place in the Galaxy ==
Koryn remembered clearly the words his cousin had said about the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. He spent the next few months flying from system to system searching for the Brotherhood and his place in the galaxy. Eventually, he came upon the planet of [[Antei]], the Brotherhood's home planet.

When Koryn arrived on [[Antei]], he made his way to the [[Shadow Academy]]. He was welcomed by the [[Master At Arms]], [[Kraval Novir]] and promptly completed the Test of Lore. Cuchulain provided encouragement to the [[Apprentice]] whenever he could and soon Koryn found himself promoted to the rank of [[Novice]].

Koryn was diligent in his studies, which was very unusual for a Rodian. He hoped that by studying, he would be more like his grandfather, and less lke his father. He hated his father with his very essence. Every day, the memory of his father drove Koryn closer to the Dark Side. It ate into him like a plague, unearthing the true evil within him. The more the hatred burrowed within him, the stronger and more powerful the Rodian felt; the stronger he felt, the more time he spent in the Academy, refining his knowledge of the Dark Side. Koryn had finally found a purpose for his hatred of his father, a purpose that would serve him well on many occasions...

== Returning Home (29 ABY) ==
Koryn was approached at the end of a senate meeting by [[Aedile]] [[Tra'an Reith]]. The Aedile asked Koryn to capture a Jedi of equal rank. The Jedi in question was currently on [[starwars:Kuat|Kuat]], Koryn's home planet. The Rodian was accompanied by his Master, [[Robin Hawk]] on the journey.

Upon landing at [[starwars:Kuat_City|Kuat City]], Koryn's mind was flooded with memories of his childhood, both good and bad. The Rodian felt that he should return home. Wandering the streets of the city, Koryn found himself confronted by a dilapidated shop - the shop once belonging to his grandfather. Upon entering, he realised that the exterior mirrored the interior. The shop had been ransacked and was now inhabited by a family of [[starwars:Borcatu|Borcatu]]. Koryn killed the Borcatu and as he did, he noticed movement in one of the back rooms.

When he entered the room, the door slid shut behind him, rendering the room in darkness. He attempted to open the door with the Force but it would not move. Turning around he was faced with something he never thought he would see again; something he never wanted to see again. His father. His father's throat was mangled beyond recognition - he shouldn't have been able to breathe.

His father drew a lightsaber and engaged his son in battle. Koryn had trouble as his father appeared to be more experienced than him. Eventually, with encouragement and guidance from Robin, Koryn emerged victorious. Koryn stabbed Dreegho through his contorted throat and the door shot open. His Master entered and found Koryn kneeling over an empty floor. She informed him that everything that occurred came from within him.

=== The Master and the Apprentice ===

Koryn had a vision of the Jedi he was hunting at his home. He led Robin, once more, through Kuat City to the outskirts. Koryn was confronted by another run down building - his childhood home. The two Dark Jedi entered stealthily. They could hear two Jedi in conversation. The Apprentice had been given an assignment to capture a Dark Jedi. But he wouldn't complete his task if Koryn had anything to do with it. Robin stepped forward to confront the Jedi Master while Koryn lured the Jedi Protector through the house. The Jedi cornered Koryn in a room and subdued him. The Jedi took the Rodian back to the main hall of the house. Upon entering, Koryn saw Robin lying at the feet of the Master, a gaping wound in her shoulder. Koryn mocked the Jedi and the Master challenged him to a lightsaber duel. Koryn was determined to avenge his Master and put up a fierce battle.

Koryn knew that defeat was inevitable. Backing off from the Jedi Master, Koryn reached out to the Force. He manifested the Force as lightning. However, due to his lower rank, he wasn't able to control the lightning. The Jedi Master was struck with a majority of the lightning, killing him. Koryn collapsed from the exertion but in his barely conscious state, he heard the sobbing of the Jedi Protector, Talar, at his Master's feet. The Jedi approached Koryn and pulled him up. He ignited his lightsaber and was about to end the Rodian's life. Fortunately, Robin had made her way over and stabbed Talar in his shoulder; revenge for what his Master had done to her. The Jedi collapsed from the pain, as did Robin, having used the last of her strength defending her Apprentice.

The three were out for some time. Koryn was the first to awake from the unwanted slumber. He grabbed a vial of bacta and healed Robin and Talar's wounds. Within a few minutes, Robin was awake. She looked over and saw Talar lying unconscious beside her. She grabbed her lightsaber and was about to end the Jedi's life. Fortunately, Koryn parried the attack and persuaded Robin against killing the Jedi. He then activated his commlink and requested a transport to pick them up. Koryn helped Robin out to the transport then returned to the house for the Jedi.

When Talar awoke, he was confronted by Koryn and Robin. The pair attempted to persuade the Jedi to reveal everything. But he refused to talk. Koryn and Robin returned the Jedi to Tra'an on Judecca, the scars of the journey visible but worth it.

== Path of the Dragon (29 ABY) ==
[[Quaestor]] [[Timbal]] had tasked Koryn with gathering data on all life on Antenora. It was a somewhat dangerous task considering some of the species found on the planet, but was mostly boring. Adjusting the saline drip on an intravenous tree, Koryn jotted down notes on his datapad. Finishing his observations, he put all of the equipment back in its place. He was about to return to the Quaestor to report his findings for the day when he sensed a malevolence in the Force. The Rodian grabbed his lightsaber but didn't activate it; whatever it was wasn't going to attack him just yet. He checked the immediate area with both his eyes and the Force but couldn't see anything. He activated his [[starwars:Comlink|commlink]] and was greeted by a high-pitched squeal that caused his antennae to twitch involuntarily. He was being jammed, and that was never good.

Suddenly and without warning, they struck. Three figures in black combat suits appeared from hidden areas. Two ignited blue lightsabers while the third activated a red lightsaber. Instinctively, Koryn ignited his own lightsaber and brought it up to block the swings that were already striking him. The attackers gave him no time to counter them. It was their speed and proficiency that surprised him more than anything. It was true he had faced talented wielders of a lightsaber before, but this appeared to be beyond anything he had been confronted by.

Unexpectedly, one of the two with a blue lightsaber reversed his grip, the blade running parallel with his forearm. The style was rare and Koryn had only seen it once; one of his Housemates had been practicing it just a few days previously. The Rodian took several steps back, disengaging himself from the fight, but still holding his lightsaber in a defensive position. The others, oddly enough, seemed to allow him to back away from them.

The Rodian examined the assailants with the Force, and he found that he recognised two of them immediately, the one with the red blade and the one with the reverse grip. The third had shrouded himself in the Dark Side, making his presence feel like a black hole in the Force. Koryn compared the presences with those he had felt before. “[[Tra'an Reith|Tra’an]]? [[Kalak Ragnose|Kalak]]?” Asked the Rodian, not believing who had attacked him. All three removed their balaclavas revealing the third to be none other than the Quaestor himself, Timbal Palpatine.

Timbal nodded to Kalak and the [[Rollmaster]] spoke: “Koryn Thraagus. You have proven yourself to be worthy of HAD's most prestigious order, the [[Order of the Dragon]]. Your combat skills, even as a Guardian, are most impressive, and your actions have reflected well upon the House. Thus, you are inducted into the Order as the Fang of Callousness. Congratulations, Guardian, and do not fail us.”

== A Chiss Invasion? (29 ABY) ==
A beeping alerted Koryn to an incoming call on his commlink. Activating it, Robin told him to meet her at the hangar bay along with his lightsaber and no other equipment. Koryn disliked leaving behind his other weapons. If there was one thing he had learnt as a bounty hunter it was that you could never have too many weapons and you could never be ‘over prepared’. His lightsaber was already attached to his belt, but he returned to his room, regardless. He threw on a hooded cloak, before making his way to the hangar.

Upon arriving at the hangar, Robin informed him that they were going to Csilla, the Chiss homeworld and the planet upon which was built the [[starwars:Chiss|Chiss Expansionary Defense Force]] – CESD – Library. Intel had reported that there was a possibility that they were preparing an attack against the Brotherhood. It struck Koryn as odd because the Chiss never started a battle but only retaliated when attacked themselves.

=== A Pearl in Space ===

Eventually, the shuttle came upon [[starwars:Csilla|Csilla]]. It looked to Koryn like a vast pearl hanging in space. It was a simply beautiful planet. However, upon landing, he found that the atmosphere didn’t mirror the view from space. The planet had been locked in an ice age for millennia and the terrain was made up from glaciers, snow, and ice. Upon exiting the shuttle, both Master and Apprentice drew their robes around them tightly and pulled their hoods up attempting to shield themselves from the harsh climate as best as they could. Fortunately, Csilla didn’t harbour any carnivorous creatures, such as Wampa; the Chiss were the only species that lived on the planet. The pair travelled north-west from their current position. They had to keep moving or risk freezing. Robin was holding up better than Koryn as her mind had been trained to ignore extreme temperatures.

The journey took them several days and they were forced to battle fierce snowstorms and frigid temperatures. Eventually, a huge construct came into view. The building was obviously the entrance to the [[starwars:Expeditionary_Library|Expeditionary Library]]. Two Chiss stood outside, guarding the entrance. Robin told Koryn to ‘persuade’ them to go elsewhere. Reaching out with the Force, Koryn made them believe that they had heard a noise to the East of the Library. The Chiss clutched their blaster rifles and left their stations for the East. Quickly, the two Dark Jedi entered the building. They took a [[starwars:Turbolift|turbolift]] down to the Library; all buildings on Csilla were built below the ground.

=== Inside the Library ===
The pair stepped out into a vast hall. There was row upon row of shelves, which reached up to the ceiling. Each shelf was overflowing with handwritten scrolls. Some scrolls were visibly ancient and beginning to tear. The centre of the hall was occupied by several computers, some of which were in use by Chiss. But whatever information they needed to find would obviously not be on these computers. There was a doorway at the end of the hall and the Dark Jedi made there way towards it, using the Force to distract all of the Chiss around them. There were a few Chiss scattered around the room, but not enough to cause too great a problem should they be spotted. Koryn slid the door open with the Force and the pair entered. The door closed behind them and they were momentarily plunged into darkness. Lights then began to flicker on. There was row upon row of computer equipment, stretching the length of the room.

The Guardian and his Master began to walk towards a door at the end of the room. When they were about halfway, the door behind them slid open. A Chiss entered the room. Koryn charged towards him. When he was within striking distance, the Rodian activated his lightsaber and slammed his hand around the Chiss’ throat. He interrogated the Chiss for anything he knew about an attack on the Brotherhood but he didn’t know anything. The Chiss had outlived his usefulness and Koryn ran him through with his lightsaber. Robin suggested that the body should be hidden. In the corner of the room was a pile of unused computer equipment. Lifting it up with the Force, Koryn hid the body underneath it. They ran through the door at the end and found themselves in a near identical room. Not wanting to risk getting caught again, they ran the length of this room.

Stepping through the doorway, they were met with two armed guards, each holding an [[starwars:SG-4_blaster_carbine|SG-4 blaster carbine]]. The Dark Jedi quickly dispatched the guards. They stepped over the corpses and into another hall. There were many Chiss in this hall, and Koryn and Robin both knew that the Force wouldn’t hide them in here. Both kept their lightsabers close. Looking around, Koryn could see eight guards all holding the same rifle as the two they had killed, but through the Force, he could sense twice as many.

=== Targets ===
The Rodian and his Master managed to get surprisingly far into the hall before they were spotted by a guard. “Everybody down!” Yelled the guard. Guards from other areas of the room rushed over. They unleashed a torrent of fire at the Dark Jedi. A majority of the fire was deflected back at the guards and at least five fell. Koryn and Robin leaped in opposite directions and began to slaughter the troops. They all fell to the Dark Jedi’s lightsabers. Quickly the two decided on the western doorway. The crowd of Chiss moved out of their way for fear that they would be the next victims. They hurried over to the door before any more guards arrived. Or worse, high ranking members of the CEDF.

Entering the room, they found it to be a computer facility. The room was currently occupied by four technicians. They stared at the Dark Jedi as they entered and were quickly killed. Robin hacked into the computer while Koryn guarded the door. Forty minutes later, the Sith Warrior announced she had found the information. Looking over, Koryn saw that Intel had been mistaken and no attack was planned. As Robin shut down the computer, Koryn opened the door. An entire platoon of CEDF troops was waiting for them. They ordered Koryn to drop his weapon, but the Rodian simply lunged forward and swiped at the troops. He killed three instantly. At this close range, the troops couldn’t get a clear shot at Koryn. Robin leaped over Koryn and the troops and began to attack from behind. The troops appeared to be firing in random directions, hoping to hit anything. One shot hit Koryn in his cybernetic arm. He winced in pain, a groan of pain escaping his lips. This spurred him on and he attacked with a renewed vigour. It didn’t take long to dispatch the grunts and the pair ran back to the first hall.

The hall was empty of all life, and the two didn’t like it. Scanning the room with the Force, they found that they weren’t alone. Elite CEDF troops were strategically scattered around the room. They both ignited their lightsabers and fell into defensive stances. They moved slowly through the hall. Koryn saw movement in the corner of his eye, which was undeniably one of the troops. Suddenly, Robin ducked instinctively as a blaster bolt fired where her head had previously been. The bolt had clearly been fired from a sniper rifle, and judging from the angle of the shot, the sniper was positioned on top of one of the bookshelves. Robin used the Force to jump up on top of one of the shelves. Fire came from all angles attempting to take her down. She charged towards the sniper while Koryn began his attack on the ground. When the sniper had been dispatched, Robin jumped down and began to slaughter all on the ground with her Apprentice.

When all had been killed, the two left the Library, returning to the cold on their long trek through the icy winds back to the shuttle, safe in the knowledge that no attack would be presented on the Brotherhood.

== Rise of a Roll Master (30 ABY) ==
Koryn was told by Kalak Ragnose to meet him at a cave on [[Antenora]]. He was told no other information except the location of the cave.

The Rodian stumbled through the cave and eventually came upon Kalak. The Aedile turned towards him as he approached. Kalak accused the Rodian of conspiring against the House Summit. With a flick of his finger, the Aedile sent Koryn flying into the chasm with a simple display of telekinesis.

As he reached the bottom of the chasm, Koryn's descent slowed and he landed without too much damage to his body. As he pulled himself up, he heard a lightsaber ignite; A green glow enveloped the area. Three blaster rifles also clicked as a Wookiee howled.

Koryn ignited his own lightsaber, casting a violet glow that mixed with the green. He charged forward and sliced the heads off the soldiers. The Wookiee roared and engaged the Rodian in a duel.

The Wookiee hit Koryn over the head with a shaggy paw, sending him flying against the wall. Koryn attempted to climb to his feet and continue the battle, but the impact almost knocked him unconscious. The Wookiee approached him, picked him up, and slung him over his shoulder. He then climbed out of the chasm and placed the Rodian at the Aedile's feet.

The Wookiee, revealed himself to be Laurus, bowed to the Aedile and left. A droid was summoned over and held Koryn up. Kalak revealed the battle to be a test and announced Koryn as Roll Master of House Acclivis Draco.

== Ascendance to Knighthood (30 ABY) ==

Koryn had been summoned to the Audience Chamber on Judecca with no further instructions, but his instincts told him that he would face his destiny on that day. As the great door into the chamber opened, his Master stepped out and motioned for her Apprentice to follow inside.

Inside, the entire Clan stood waiting for the ceremony to begin. Robin presented her student to Lucien Kaeth and Thran Occasus. Tra’an stepped forwards to induct the Hunter as a Knight of the Clan. Thran presented the new Dark Jedi Knight with the essential components for his [[lightsaber]]. Lucien completed the ceremony by proclaiming to the Clan that Koryn was now a Knight.

== Great Jedi War (30 ABY) ==
=== Landing on Antei ===

Koryn had been assigned to accompany the [[2nd Battalion, 41st Infantry|2nd Battalion, 41st Infantry Division, Alpha Company]] of the [[Army of the Iron Throne]]. They descended to the planet aboard a [[starwars:Low_Altitude_Assault_Transport/infantry|LAAT/I]]. Before they had landed, they already encountered resistance; a [[starwars:T3-B_heavy_attack_tank|T3-B Heavy Tank]] was waiting for the landing craft. The pilot easily dispatched the tank allowing the troops a relatively safe disembarkment.

Two [[starwars:B1 battledroid|droids]] had not been wiped out by the blast from the missiles, and the troops began to rain fire down on them as soon as they left the LAAT/I. Koryn quickly grew impatient and charged the battledroids with his lightsaber drawn.

The Company had landed about a klick away from the main battle and had to march across the barren landscape of [[Antei]]. No orders had been relayed yet, so the troops set about destroying any droids foolish enough to cross them.

=== Securing the AA Towers ===

The first set of orders issued to the Clan were to establish a beachhead around the AA towers, which were stopping reinforcements being dropped in. As they were heading north towards the towers, Captain Kellin reported a distress signal from the [[2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry|2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Charlie Company]]. Koryn gave the order to provide support for 2/2 C Company.

2/2 C Company were pinned down in a trench and were being overrun by the droid forces. As three [[starwars:B2_super_battle_droid|B2 battledroids]] joined the fray and all hope seemed lost, Koryn and his Company arrived. With renewed morale, the soldiers from both Companies succeeded in wiping out the attacking forces.

Both Divisions journeyed to the AA towers and began to slaughter the droids emplaced there. It wasn’t long until the AT-ATs arrived to destroy the towers. All that was left for the various Divisions gathered there was to clean up what few droids remained.

=== To Catch A Jedi ===

The next set of orders to arrive from High Command were for the capture of [[starwars:Jedi|Jedi]]. Captain Kellin and Lieutenant Caleb had little faith in Koryn’s ability to capture a Jedi, so the Rodian took the assignment alone.

It had been years since he had been a [[starwars:Bounty_hunter|bounty hunter]], but he found the hunting instinct remained. Koryn headed north where a droid emplacement could be seen on the horizon. Before he arrived at the encampment, he was met by a Jedi. The Jedi originally claimed to be [[Omancor Crask]], the leader of the Jedi forces; Koryn did not need the [[starwars:The_Force|Force]] to see this as a ruse. The Jedi finally admitted his name as Vorlyn Calthar.

After a long and arduous duel, Koryn succeeded in incapacitating his opponent. However, his Company was not faring as well; they were pinned down by endless waves of battledroids. Lieutenant Caleb saw the cause of the never ending stream: [[starwars:Droid_dispenser|droid dispensers]]. The Lieutenant was about to plant charges on the dispensers when he received orders from [[Arania Lawakiro Palpatine]] to fall back. In her [[starwars:All_Terrain_Scout_Transport|AT-ST]], Arania decimated the dispensers.

Soon after, Koryn rendezvoused with the troops and Arania. He asked the [[Dark Jedi Master]] Thran’s location so that he could present the Emperor with his prize. Alone he journeyed across the continent of Adas before returning to the soldiers.

=== In The Temple Boyna ===

The final objective given to the Clan was to take back the Temple Boyna. When Koryn and the Company arrived, the battle had already begun inside. Making their way inside, they could see that the number of battledroids was immense; this was the final stand of the Jedi, their last hope of remaining on Antei. The various Battalions inside the Temple, both Iron Throne forces and the battledroids, fought fiercely for their respective Masters. But the Jedi cared little for their army. Foreseeing their defeat, the Jedi sent a wave of Force energy over the battleground. Droids went flying, crashing into Dark Jedi and soldiers. Some were crushed under the weight of the droids.

Koryn, sensing a comrade in danger, left what remained of his Company to clean up the droids that were left standing. In an antechamber on the upper floor of the Temple, Koryn found [[Draco Maligo]] surrounded by a handful of Jedi. Together, they killed all but one of the Jedi. The last Jedi standing held a certain relaxation about him, which was slightly unnerving. The pair turned on the final Jedi as other Clan members stormed into the room. By the time the Dark Jedi had finished with him, the Jedi was no longer distinguishable.

The Jedi had been driven from Antei, Omancor Crask had been slain, and the planet once more belonged to the Brotherhood.

== The Two Dark Paladins (30 ABY) ==

Following the War, Koryn and Draco Maligo were summoned to the Emperor’s audience chamber. As the ornate wooden doors opened, they were met with the steely gaze of the elite of [[Scholae Palatinae]] – the [[Dark Paladins of Scholae Palatinae|Dark Paladins]]. [[Consul]] Thran Occasus – Emperor and First of the Paladins – inducted them into the Guardians of the Clan for the loyalty shown during the recent War.

None of Koryn's close family is left alive. The following section details all that is known of his family.

=== Grandfather ===

Koryn's grandfather, Gleevor Thraagus, was born on [[starwars:Rodia|Rodia]] in [[starwars:68_BBY|68 BBY]]. He was born into clan Thraagus who like most Rodian clans, were frequently engaged in clan wars. Gleevor was extremely peaceful for a Rodian and rarely got into any fights growing up. He was a more academic Rodian and took pride in his studies. In [[starwars:51_BBY|51 BBY]], he enrolled in Matza Academy and took courses in Business Management, Business Ethics, and Accounting; he passed all three with flying colours.

After graduating, Gleevor travelled to [[starwars:Coruscant|Coruscant]] to open his own sales company. However, he soon found that Coruscant was too huge to warrant a successful small business. He left Coruscant after a month and travelled to [[starwars:Ryloth|Ryloth]]. He set up his business in [[starwars:Sal%27kaasa|Sal'Kaasa]], a haven for Rodians on Ryloth. Over the coming months, the business flourished and the Rodian opened another shop in the Ryloth capital of [[starwars:Lessu|Lessu]]. Although his second shop didn't do as well as his shop in Sal'Kaasa, it did still provide a modest income. Gleevor bought and sold most things at his shops. But the one thing he vowed never to buy was black market or stolen goods.

Because he could only be at one shop at any one time, Gleevor had to hire someone who could look after one of the shops. He hired a young female Rodian, Felima Nokata, who would look after the shop in Sal'Kaasa. Every few days, Gleevor would visit Sal'Kaasa to check how Felima was doing and to pay her wages; a modest sum of 250 [[starwars:Credits|credits]] a day. This was more enough to get her by in the world and could afford her a few luxuries.

Soon, Gleevor's visits to Sal'Kaasa became more and more frequent until he found himself travelling to Sal'Kaasa every day. He realized that he was falling in love with Felima. One evening, he met Felima as she was locking up the shop for the night. He gave her a ride back to her homestead on the outskirts of Sal'Kaasa. Felima thanked him for the ride and before she could get out of the [[starwars:Landspeeder|speeder]], Gleevor leaned towards her and kissed her. It was then that Felima, too, realized that she had fallen in love.

In 39 BBY, Gleevor and Felima travelled back to Rodia where they married. From that day forth, the Thraagus and Nokata clans on Rodia were united. When harm came to one clan, the other clan would retaliate; they were a fearsome force, and the wiser clans steered clear of engaging with them.

In 37 BBY, Gleevor returned to Coruscant to open another shop. This time around he was more successful and he gained a moderate amount of business. A month later, he left Felima on Coruscant and returned to Ryloth in order to find a couple of Rodians to look after his and Felima's (they now both owned the company) business in Sal'Kaasa and Lessu. Over the years that he owned the company, he returned every two or three months to check on the shops and pay his staff a generous wage.

In the same year, Gleevor and Felima had their first child - a son - Koryn's father. The Business on Coruscant flourished after Gleevor's son was born.

Gleevor decided to move his family to Kuat where he could raise his son away from the noise and bustle of the city. Gleevor opened another shop on Kuat. This proved to be his most successful shop and, years later, where he acquired the DC-15A Rifle that later became Koryn's weapon. Apart from travelling to Coruscant and Ryloth, Gleevor spent the rest of his days on Kuat.

A year later, he had another child, a daughter by the name of Kuluq Thraagus. Again, the business flourished after the birth of his child.

In 13 ABY, Gleevor passed away. He was surrounded by his loving family. Before he died, he left Koryn with the DC-15A Rifle that he had always enjoyed hearing the story of.

Koryn's grandmother was born Felima Nokata in [[starwars:64_BBY|64 BBY]] on Rodia. Like Gleevor, she too was academic. However, unlike Gleevor, she was also brutal; she engaged in her first clan war at the age of ten and rose up the ranks in the Nokata clan. She was home-schooled by her mother and learnt a number of languages including: Basic, Twi'Lek, and Zabraki.

At the age of twelve, Felima once again participated in a clan war. After two days of constant fighting, she began to suffer from fatigue and dodged a blaster bolt too late; it hit her in her right arm. In that moment, she becam feral and charged the opposing Tal'Hoku clan. She killed many Tal'Hoku's before she arrived at her target: Jera, the Alpha male of clan Tal'Hoku. Impressed at her feat of strength, Jera called off the clan's attack. He bowed down to the stronger Rodian and agreed to merge the two clans as one under the Nokata banner.

Over the four years that Jera had spent in clan Nokata, he and Felima developed a close and rather intimate relationship. In 48 BBY, Felima caught Jera in bed with another Rodian girl. In a fit of rage, she cut the girls throat, and snapped Jera's spine like a twig. Many have speculated, Koryn included, that such strength was a sign of untapped Force potential and that Koryn inherited his own Force powers from her. Fearing what the clan may do to her, Felima fled to Sal'Kaasa on Ryloth where she would live in self-imposed exile.

Soon, Felima found that she had to get a job. She found a small sales business in Sal'Kaasa that was advertising for help. She entered the shop and was greeted by Gleevor Thraagus, who was currently stacking shelves. She told him that she was looking for a job and Gleevor immediately asked if she could start the next day. Felima enthusiastically agreed and became an employee of Gleevor.

Gleevor often visited Sal'Kaasa every three or four days, but Felima noticed that, in 46 BBY, Gleevor's visits became more and more frequent. One night, while she was locking up the shop, Gleevor was waiting for her. He offered her a ride back to her house; she accepted. When she was climbing out of the speeder, Gleevor grabbed her arm and pulled her close. Gleevor kissed her passionately and Felima realized that she had fallen in love with him.

In 39 BBY, Felima and Gleevor travelled back to Rodia. Felima was particularly nervous about seeing her family after so long. She wondered if they still begrudged her murdering Jera. But with Gleevor by her side, she felt as if she could take on a Rancor single-handedly.

When she arrived at her family's home, they greeted her with open arms. When she asked if they had forgiven her for murdering Jera, her father smiled: "He was Bantha poodoo," he had said. "He was arrogant and cocky. You should have killed the schutta when you set eyes on him." Her family were particularly interested in Gleevor, asking him what he did and where in Rodia he came from. Felima's grandfather claimed that he had known Gleevor's great-grandfather when he was younger. He said that they had grown up in the same village and that they almost brought the two clans together.

After, visiting Felima's family, the lovers visited Gleevor's family. His family were ecstatic that he had found a nice girl like Felima and couldn't believe it when he told them that they had come to Rodia to be married.

The next day, the couple were married in an extravagant ceremony. Clans Thraagus and Nokama were finally united under one banner. Gleevor often claimed, to the amusement of Felima, that he "tamed" her.

In 37 BBY, Felima and Gleevor travelled to Coruscant to finally realize Gleevor's dream of owning a shop there. Coruscant was so... ''different'' to any planet that Felima had visited before. It was actually loud to look at; it was always bustling with activity. The shop on Coruscant did moderately well; a lot better than Gleevor succeeded the first time he had visited Coruscant.

In the same year, Felima and Gleevor had their first child, Koryn's father.

In 24 BBY, Felima and Gleevor decided to move their family to Kuat. They could raise there son more easily there, away from the noise of Coruscant. The couple opened another shop here that proved to be their most successful.

A year after arriving on Kuat, Felima and Gleevor had a daughter, Kuluq Thraagus.

In 10 ABY, at the age of 74, Felima passed away.

Born in 74 BBY, Jera was raised by his grandparents; his parents had died during a clan war. As such, he was taught traditional values of war. He was raised on conflict from an early age. By the time he was six-years-old, he had already mastered seven forms of hand-to-hand combat and was learning an eighth. He was also extremely skilled in weapons use; he first picked up a blaster pistol at the age of three. Since then he has been taught how to handle both melee and ranged weapons to tremendous quality.

By the time he was nine-years-old, Jera had already participated in four clan wars. At the age of sixteen, along with a group of disgruntled Tal'Hokus, Jera overthrew the current Alpha male. The group elected Jera as the new Alpha male. He was one of the youngest Alpha Males of a clan in the known history of Rodia.

Koryn's father was born Dreegho Thraagus on Coruscant in 37 BBY.

At the age of 16, in 15 BBY, Dreegho dropped out of the Academy telling Gleevor that he did not enjoy his studies. He became a salesman like his father. Many presume, Koryn included, that Dreegho bought and sold black market goods, but it was never proven.

At some point between 10 BBY and 7 BBY, Dreegho met his future wife and Koryn's mother, Veexo. Sources say that the pair fell in love at first sight.

In 6 BBY, Dreegho and Veexo were married in a large ceremony. Rumours suggest that many noblemen and rich politicians were present at the ceremony, although these rumours are not confirmed in any databank or archive.

In 5 BBY, Dreegho and Veexo have their first child, Koryn's brother.

In 7 ABY, Dreegho and Veexo have their second child, Koryn.

In 10 ABY, Dreegho's father passed away. Devastated by the loss of his father, Dreegho turns to drink. Within a few weeks, he is an alcoholic. This causes many problems with his family and will haunt him later in life.

In 22 ABY, Dreegho viciously assaulted his family; his motives for this are unclear. In fear, he flees to Sullust to become a miner in the hope of creating a new life for himself.

In 24 ABY, Koryn manages to track Dreegho down. He is killed by Koryn's latent Force abilities.

While working as a miner on Sullust, it is believed that Dreegho changed his name to Drex Olkana. He worked under this guise for two years. Although he still enjoyed a drink, he had stopped drinking as much. He led a good life on Sullust, but found no one that he felt he could call 'friend'.

Koryn's DC-15A Blaster Rifle was left to him by his grandfather shortly before he died. As a child, his grandfather had often told him that he had won it in a tense game of Pazaak against a [[starwars:Clones|Clone]] [[starwars:General|General]].

Although heavier than the more common [[starwars:E-11|E-11 Blaster Rifles]], Koryn prefers this as it has less recoil than a lighter weapon. However, Koryn found that one downside to the DC-15A is its difficulty in aiming due to the instability of plasma gas. But with training in the Force, Koryn has learnt the art of telekinesis in order to keep the rifle more stable and, in turn, more accurate.

While working as a repairman on Onderon, Koryn forged his own Vibroblade. The blade was forged from [[starwars:Cortosis|Cortosis]], which Koryn had to steal from a nearby prestigious workshop. Due to the brittle texture of the Cortosis, it didn't take Koryn long to forge the blade. The hilt of the Vibroblade Koryn forged from [[starwars:Chalon|Chalon]] and burnt to a deep bronze hue. The hilt, he then wrapped in [[starwars:Tyrian_cloth|Tyrian Cloth]], a reminder of his species' heritage on Rodia. Koryn has wished many times that he had a faithful weapon such as this by his side when he was a bounty hunter.

Koryn appears to be a typical green skinned Rodian. Standing at 1.68m, he appears short to the average human, but he is average height and weight for his species. His eyes are a deep blue in colour, but in a bright light they appear to be a much lighter hue. As is typical of the species, Koryn can see into the infrared spectrum. His antenna, which sit atop his head, are extremely sensitive to high frequency sounds, which can be a disadvantage. However, an advantage to them is the ability to pick up lower frequencies with much more ease. They can even judge the approximate direction that a sound is coming from. His left arm was cut off many years prior and was replaced with a cybernetic model. As such, he no longer has sucker-tipped fingers on his left hand. His right hand, however, still has them, and they are a great boon as he can climb quicker than most species and up harsher terrain. Koryn also has a small scar above his upper lip which was caused a few years ago in a bar fight.

Koryn can often be found wearing robes, either his Krath robes or elegant robes made from silk and Tyrian cloth. His senatorial robes are violet, cream, and gold in colour and are woven from [[starwars:Veda_cloth|Veda cloth]] and [[starwars:Aeien_silk|Aeien silk]].

Before the Brotherhood of Darkness was sent to Russan, she fled to the planet [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dromund_Kaas Dromund Kaas], and birthed her only known son. Though far from home, she brought her son up in the traditional manner to the Nightsisters, constantly sending him into combat with the planet's native creatures, including mailocs, vornskrs, and swamp wampas. Under her tutelage, Sephiroth grew into his teens at which time Kali' Ray sent him away, having a vision of a distant temple, and seeing that her interests would be better served elsewhere.

Kali had a short sprint on Antei during the reign of the Emperor's Hammer, before the Exodus. Disgusted with the leadership he left for regions unknown. He later returned, ready to take his rightful place within the Brotherhood of Dark Jedi.

== Career of a Legend: The Begining ==

Upon Sephiroth's second entry into the Brotherhood, he took the name of Sephiroth Storm. He was greeted by his House Envoy, then Dark Jedi Knight [[Ma`ar-Tyrius Ga-Tir]]. He became the Dark Knight's Apprentice. Under Ma'ar's tutelage, Sephiroth created and led the Battleteam [[Circle of Prophets|Prophets]], serving twice as Tetrarch.

Upon Ma'ar's sudden transfer to Acrona, Sephiroth drifted alone in the void until he came upon Former Headmaster, Dark Jedi Master Anshar Kahn Tarentae. Anshar saw the raw potential of the man and took him as his Apprentice, and training him to Knighthood. They remain close friends and allies.

Around 25 ABY, Sephiroth Kali felt compelled to give back to the Brotherhood which had given him so much to him. He again petitioned the Summit to allow him to serve, this time as a full House Envoy. His wish was granted and he became Envoy of House Tridens, and shortly thereafter, the Rollmaster of Tridens. He served off and on until 27 ABY, When he was promoted to Knight First Class Envoy, and became the Clan Envoy for Clan Tarentum. He was one of the last people to hold the position, and at the time of the Society's dissolution, was the only active KFCE in the Brotherhood.

===A Vision of the Future?===

After recent travels throughout the Galaxy, Sephiroth returned to Clan Tarentum and has been seen scouring Brotherhood locations for knowledge. In 29 ABY Sephiroth was reported UA from Castle Tarentum. Sources reported seeing a figure being dragged out of the Krath's quarters. He returned months later, quietly re-inserting himself within the Clan's social structure. It is generally believed that he has been initiated into the sect of Necromancers known as the [[Watchers]]. While Kali refuses to speak on the matter, His desire for knowledge does not leave for much doubt. It was also reported that the secretive Krath sought out the enigmatic and dangerous [[Shan-Long]], seeking the secrets of the [[Wanderer]]. Rumors leaked out of the Clan saying that the Krath often stalked the halls in Tarentum's castle, muttering about the Chronicle of Dark Souls, and the [[Marked of the Wanderer]].

In 30 ABY Sephiroth took Protector Zama of House Tridens as his Apprentice. Later, during the Ninth Great Jedi War, Protector Zama disappeared from the battlefield, betraying the Clan. Sephiroth later returned, bringing a gift to the Consul, Zama's head on a platter. In 31 ABY, Kali transferred into House Cestus.

== Physical description==

Sephiroth is tall and intimidating to most he meets. Long silver hair and intense eyes that seek the souls of his enemies. His eyes may give off a reddish glow when he delves deep within his reservoirs of power.

===Loyalty===

Sephiroth is very loyal to those he considers to be his allies. He plays his loyalties close to his heart, but it can be safely assumed that His Clan, and Order are very close to the top of that list. Sephiroth is very devout when it comes to his Order, to which he takes a religious view in his studies. Sephiroth delves very deeply into histories and the nature of the dark side.

Sephiroth has several possessions which are very important to him.

*Lightsaber- Sephiroth owns a curved hilt duelist saber. Inside the casing lay two crystals both corrupted by intense use of the Dark Side of the Force, a Nextor and a Sigil Crystal. Kali currently fights using the Makashi, and Soresu saber styles. He has obtained the fith level of Makashi, next he intends to master Vapaad, then Shien. Either way it is best to avoid the wrath of the Krath Priest when he draws his blade.

In [[11 ABY to 19 ABY#19 ABY|19 ABY]], RevengeX joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and [[Clan Scholae Palatinae]] as it was in turmoil. Being a new Dark Jedi, Revenge was confused at the chaos and battle around him. His Clan fought valiantly, but the new [[Apprentice]] did not, his fear grabbing a hold of him as he often regretted about joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood at night during the duration of the [[Invasion of Antares|Third Sith War]].

Once the war had ended, he was able to figure things out faster compared to before, since there was no chaos of battle flowing around him. Revenge progressed through the [[Journeyman]] ranks slowly compared to most of his peers.

Two years after he had joined, a [[Sixth Great Jedi War|destructive disease]] threatened the Brotherhood and the causes of this epidemic remained unknown for a time. Mysterious Dark Jedi Master [[Kem-Shu Maeda]], joined Scholae Palatinae, and heeding the warnings of the [[Consul]], [[Vail Aquillarum Unteminar]], no member interacted with the suspicious figure. At the time of the epidemic, RevengeX was still a young Journeyman and did not yet fully understand the intricacies and politics of the Brotherhood, so he took a sideline role.

RevengeX earned the right to wear a [[lightsaber]] after completing his [[starwars:Dark Jedi|Dark Jedi]] Trials set before him by his master, Vail Aquillarum Unteminar, his [[Tetrarch]], Rhaub D'ar Aghasett Palpatine, who would serve as Revenge's Aedile years later, and his [[Quaestor]], Kschamehellan. RevengeX finally attained the rank of [[Dark Jedi Knight]] after approximately three years of training as a Dark Jedi.

About sixth months later, during a [http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1450 Clan-wide mission], Quaestor Kschamehellan saw that the [[House Summit]] needed to be rearranged and thus appointed RevengeX as [[Rollmaster]]. The Knight mulled over the idea in his head for a few days and eventually submitted to the various persuasion from several parties. After three days, he was elevated to the rank of [[Krath Priest]] along with his friend, and "rival," Issard Jokaat.

Under the guidance of Consul [[Timbal]], Scholae Palatinae helped the Brotherhood, and then-[[Obelisk High Commander]] [[Korras]], [[Invasion of Coratua|invade Coratua]] in [[20 ABY to 25 ABY#23 ABY|23 ABY]]. Although Scholae Palatinae did not place in the top three, it was a major eye-opener to see that the Clan had very few combat specialists. RevengeX, who was one of the Clan's top players, focused the next few years on combat training, believing that the body was just as important as the mind.

The [[Children of Palpatine|Palpatine family]], often called the ''Royal Family'' in honor of Darth Sidious, occasionally met together and nominated a Clan member for induction into the family. In 25 ABY, the Palpatines, in conjunction with the Clan Summit, extended the invitation to join their family to RevengeX and he accepted with great gratitude and excitement. He, alongside his former Master, joined the Palpatines in their journey for domination, influence and power.

The [[Seventh Great Jedi War]] brought a flurry of strange events, including two [[Jac Cotelin]]s. The two Jacs waged war against one another, each claiming to be the real Dark Lord of the Sith, the true ruler of the Iron Throne. When each Jac demanded that Consuls take sides, Consul Dakari made the decision to ally the Clan with Clans [[Clan Taldryan|Taldryan]], its rival [[Clan Arcona|Arcona]], and the "blue" Jac against the combined forces of Clans [[Clan Plagueis|Plagueis]], [[Clan Naga Sadow|Naga Sadow]], [[Clan Tarentum|Tarentum]] and the "red" Jac.

Near the end of, and following, the Great Jedi War, a period of unrest settled over Acclivis Draco. This period would later be known as the ''Dragon's Curse'': a time of great disturbance in the [[Clan]]. Following [[Munesanzun Mitsukai Isradia|Mune Metsukai Isradia's]] resignation, Acclivis Draco began to deteriorate. [[Braecen Kunar]] was appointed his successor, but Braecen was appointed to succeed [[Brujah Tamalar]] as [[Proconsul]]. Former Consul [[Saitou]] was named Braecen's successor, but he left the post in a few days and self-exiled himself from the Clan and the Palpatine family. This time, former [[Herald]] [[Cyris Oscura]] was appointed Quaestor, but within a few days, he also quit the position and left the Brotherhood entirely.

The [[Clan Summit]] and the House members were in turmoil. There was no direct leadership in the House, even though [[Aedile]] [[Rasilvenaira StormRaven]] tried her best to keep things in order. Riot and civil war threatened the House, and members old and new were unsatisfied with the way things were being handled. The Clan Summit was desperate for order in the House. After a few lengthy discussions, they appointed RevengeX to the position of Quaestor.

The Festival of the Fox was celebrated by Clan Scholae Palatinae with an enormous celebration that had games, contests and even a combat tournament. The Festival would be the beginning of a fight for Clan dominance between the two Houses Acclivis Draco and [[House Caliburnus|Caliburnus]]. Acclivis Draco had been considered the undisputed champion of Scholae Palatinae for several years, but Caliburnus, after defeating [[House Dorimad Sol|Dorimad Sol]] in battle, was ambitious enough to challenge the might of the Dragon. And with a leader like [[Impetus]], it was possible that victory would be granted to them.

But, Acclivis Draco would never back down to a foe as formidable as their sibling. Caliburnus invaded [[Antenora]] with all of their military might. Acclivis Draco defended Antenora and the battle was even on both sides until a distress call from the ''[[Excidium]]'' told them to stop and provide aid. The two Houses instantly called their troops to order and flew to Judecca as a combined force. Their conflict was over, but another was beginning to unfold under the veil of Brotherhood intrigue.

Soon, Scholae Palatinae [[Proconsul]] [[Phoenix Olkyssagh Palpatine]] waged war against [[Clan Arcona]]. Many speculate that this was a personal feud between him and Arconan Proconsul [[Koskian 'Psyko' d'Tana|Koskian 'Psyko' d'Tana Arconae]], but that has yet to be proven with actual evidence. When Scholae Palatinae suffered an embarrassing loss at the hands of Arcona, they had little time to recover.

The first annual Cocytus Olympiads, affectionately called the Summer Games, hosted on the planet [[Judecca]], a competition open to all members of Clan Scholae Palatinae, began. The main purpose of the competition was to determine three Olympians of the Clan. Shortly after the conclusion of the Olympiads, House Acclivis Draco embarked on its own endeavor.

The members of Acclivis Draco journeyed down into the dungeon levels of the Dragon's Citadel when a map of the maze-like levels was discovered. [[Dark Jedi Master|Master]] Natth a'Niel Palpatine led the Dark Jedi down into the darkness where they encountered ferocious beasts, a network of catwalks, a recording holding a cryptic message, an eerie song, a group of hungry Drakonids, and a strange canyon that contains flora unlike any they have seen before. Throughout this adventure, [[Arion Sunrider|Arion Aquillarum Sunrider]] and [[Impetus]] proved themselves worthy of the title "Hero of the Dragon" by braving the dangers and leading the rest of the House members.

The Clans were summoned, by order of the Iron Throne, to Star System MDMP502101 near the Shroud. The competition between the Clans is known as the [[Second Darkness]]. The Dark Council purposely left the Clans to dispute on who was the best Clan of the Brotherhood and to compete for Supremacy and influence. Fueled by indignation from their recent defeat, Scholae Palatinae began with a powerful start. The Royal Clan ended in second place and showed how much the Clan had improved since the Seventh Great Jedi War.

It is even rumored that someone saw a tear run down Revenge's cheek as some of his Clan-mates, as well as [[Grand Master]] [[Sarin]], backup the promotion with eloquence. RevengeX has vehemently denied such a rumor.

Unfortunately, the celebration was cut short and creatures - later identified as [[starwars:Yuuzhan Vong|Yuuzhan Vong]] - began an invasion of the galaxy. Soon, Coruscant, along with many other planets, had fallen to these ruthless, extragalactic invaders. A nearby portion of this massive fleet took a side route and began [[Eighth Great Jedi War|an attack]] on [[Antei]] and the nearby [[Cocytus System]]. On the second day of the invasion, RevengeX was captured by a group of Vong and forced into the [[starwars:Embrace of Pain|Embrace of Pain]], until he was rescued by his Clan-mates.

Eager to help the Brotherhood retaliate, Revenge led Scholae Palatinae's efforts, until the Vong succeeded in capturing Antei, and Sarin ordered a full retreat of Brotherhood forces. Soon thereafter, Sarin named the three "Champions" of the War: [[Shadow Taldrya]], [[Sharad Taldrya Hett]], and RevengeX Palpatine as First, Second, and Third Champion, successively. Astonished, RevengeX was, along with many outstanding members of the Brotherhood, given a prestigious award: the [[Sapphire Blade]].

Also around this time, RevengeX was approached by the Wiki Tribune, [[Vladek]], and requested that he be on the Wiki Staff. RevengeX denied the request at first, but months later, he reconsidered and was accepted onto the Staff. He had yet to realize that his work as one of the Brotherhood's librarians would flourish into a love that would land him the [[Tribune]] position.

With the Brotherhood in full retreat, in accordance with the [[Braata Option]], Scholae Palatinae deemed [[Reclamation of Judecca|reclaiming the Cocytus System]] the top priority. Leading [[House Acclivis Draco]] under a new [[Clan Summit]] - [[Consul]] [[Phoenix Olkyssagh Palpatine]] and [[Proconsul]] [[Lucien]] - RevengeX drove away the Vong from [[Antenora]]. After a thorough body count, RevengeX was named the ''Second Redeemer of the Cocytus System'' for having killed the second most Yuuzhan Vong.

The Fiction Staff was dissolved soon after [[Raken]] was appointed to the post of [[Fiction Tribune]]. Feeling that this was not much of a loss, RevengeX was later approached by the Seneschal, [[Xia Long]], and appointed as a [[Magistrate]] to her staff. His involvement in the development of the Brotherhood's networks was fairly limited due to his relative inexperience, but he soon found another niche when he was approached by the newly appointed [[Combat Master]], Sharad Taldrya Hett, who requested that RevengeX join the [[Antei Combat Center]] staff. He became a Judge, even though he had been fired from the post of ACCLive! Judge several years earlier.

Days after the anniversary of the Exodus, in celebration of holding the office of Quaestor for over three years, he was promoted to the rank of [[Krath Pontifex]]. Fortunately, the ceremony was not attacked.

Soon after this elevation, he was appointed to [[Wiki Tribune]] at the bequest of his predecessor [[Astronicus Aurelius Sadow]], who would also later succeed him. RevengeX had his doubts about this position because he felt that his greater involvement in a multitude of positions was diminishing the time that he normally used to admire himself in a mirror. Nevertheless, the Wiki continued to flourish and expand marvelously throughout his term.

After he was appointed Wiki Tribune, he realized that this could be a new drive for him, so, after much thought, he resigned from Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco, a position which he had held for almost four years. A few months after this, he officially resigned from his position of Magistrate to the Seneschal.

A year passed from when he had become a Tribune. He was awarded a [[Ruby Scepter]] for his work, a gift that surprised and excited him. The Krath smacked many people with it when they did not adhere to the regulations of the Brotherhood's library; therefore, he became known as a cruel and ruthless tyrant. However, as all things do, his stint as Tribune came to a glorious end, and it is said that parties in all of the Clans, including his own, sprung up from this announcement. At the same time, he also resigned from his post as Judge of the Combat Center, after almost two years of excellent service.

===Personality===
RevengeX is an interesting character in that he can often pass as "normal," but occasionally, he loses all cognitive functions and becomes a mindless, determined beast fixed on destroying everything in his immediate vicinity. The first recorded time this happened was when he participated in a rebellion against a powerful capital ship manufacturer's president. The details of this event are scant and Revenge doesn't remember anything about participating in a rebellion.

The most recent time this transformation occurred was during a training mission when RevengeX, a [[Jedi Hunter]], was captured by [[starwars:Imperial Remnant|Imperial Remnant]] troops and tortured, because he insisted that he was not a [[starwars:New Republic|New Republic]] spy, in an uninhabited region of [[starwars:Dantooine|Dantooine]]. The interrogators eventually got bored of their newest toy and prepared to kill him by dropping him out of a ship miles above the ground. Wearing grins, the officers were about to push him out when a sudden surge of adrenaline, perhaps out of fear, entered his body and he killed the officers and troops on board the ship. The Jedi Hunter stole the ship, a [[starwars:Lambda-class T-4a shuttle|Lambda-class Imperial shuttle]], and piloted it back to [[Judecca]]. Revenge does not remember the details of the events and insists that he has never been inside a Lambda-class shuttle.

He is almost always calm, and although he may be smiling and looking like he does not have a care in the galaxy, his concentration is nearly unparalleled. Revenge believes that he indirectly received this trait from his former Master, Vail, who is known for a calm, relaxed, yet extremely focused, nature.

However, it is known that when RevengeX gets mad... he goes insane.

A few members of the Brotherhood consider RevengeX as an "enemy." Revenge, believing that they are not worth his time, scoffs at these attention-seeking grubs and simply ignores them. Only one or two ''coleos habent'' to actually be outspoken about their hatred for RevengeX, but they are usually found hiding in dark corners, muttering obscenities and ridiculous insults, the next day.

====Impediments====
Revenge's only weakness is bugs, insects or arachnids of any kind. His fear of bugs and other slimy, ugly creatures has made him humorous to his fellow [[starwars:Dark Jedi|Dark Jedi]]. When he sees any of these creatures, he immediately freezes up and cowers in fear, no matter what the size of it is. Even if it is the mere size of his thumb, he will stop instantly and move as far back away from it as possible. Revenge's fear of bugs come from a horrible and traumatic memory from his unknown past, that he does not share with others, but meditates on by himself.

Revenge's allergy of the [[starwars:Massassi tree|Massassi trees]] located on [[starwars:Yavin 4|Yavin IV]] was discovered when he went there on a training mission to explore the ruins of the once great [[starwars:Massassi Temple|Massassi temples]] built millennia ago by the mutated [[starwars:Massassi|Massassi]], creatures that [[starwars:Exar Kun|Exar Kun]] had twisted with his dark powers. As he nears one of the trees, he breaks out in a rash and develops an itchy tongue that makes it difficult for him to talk, thus making people unable to understand what is making him unable to speak clearly.

Revenge's first saber was destroyed during a duel. RevengeX would not release any details about the duel besides the fact that his saber was destroyed.

His second lightsaber was lost in Kilgore Ridge on [[Antenora]] when he had to retake [[Drynwyn's Tower]] as the new [[Tetrarch]] of [[Drynwyn's Flame]]. Natives had infested the tower after it was abandoned and Revenge, with the other [[Battleteam]] members, had to "clean." It is believed that he lost his saber somewhere in the basement of the Tower after making a close escape from a troop of scavengers.

His third lightsaber was nicknamed the "Dragon's Elegance" because of the beautiful curves in the hilt. It was retired after several years of service to him, and it currently serves as a backup in case anything happens to his current lightsaber.

Like his second and third, his fourth is mainly colored purple in tribute to the Krath Order and the predominantly [[Krath]] [[House]], [[House Acclivis Draco]].

The '''Ninth Great Jedi War''', or '''Unification''', was a conflict that took place in [[30 ABY to 39 ABY|30 ABY]] on the planet [[Antei]] between the forces of the [[Dark Jedi Brotherhood]] and an unidentified fundamentalist Jedi sect under the [[Starwars:Jedi Master|Jedi Master]] [[Omancor Crask]]. Initially the invasion was conceived to retake Antei from the [[Starwars:Yuuzhan Vong|Yuuzhan Vong]]. But the Six Great Clans, united under [[Grand Master]] [[Sarin]] and the [[Armed Forces of the Iron Throne]], quickly learned that the Vong had been decimated by a biological weapon and Antei had been conquered and fortified by Crask and his army of droids.

However, the new threat to the Brotherhood would emerge to be greater than even that of the Yuuzhan Vong. Not only were Crask's Jedi and droids extremely well-trained and well-armed, but the old master himself was found to be far more powerful than any had imagined. So powerful, in fact, that before he was ultimately betrayed and defeated by his own lieutenant, Crask killed Sarin in a ranging duel that began above Antei on board the warship [[BAC Exodus|''Exodus'']] and ended on the surface of Antei amid the vessel's smoking ruin.

Though the united Dark Brotherhood achieved victory at Antei and had reclaimed its seat of power, tensions between Clans, the [[Dark Council]], and the Grand Master continued to run high. The war of reclamation was an unpopular one and its aftermath set a challenging course for the rule of [[Darth Ashen]].

==Introduction==
Two years after the Dark Jedi Brotherhood had been chased from [[Antei]], they returned, led by [[Aristan Dantes]], unified in their thirst for vengeance and desire to regain their lost homeworld. Upon returning to [[Antei]], it was discovered that a plague had struck the Yuuzhan Vong. The sickness had struck the alien invaders suddenly, apparently in a matter of days, and had managed to decimate the tens of thousands of Yuuzhan Vong which had been occupying the planet.

The plan was to have the clans arrive and take over the planet, using a special army which would be provided by the Iron Throne as shock troops. The battle for Antei had been planned specifically for combating an army of Vong. However, when the clans returned, they realized that the place of the invading Vong had been usurped by the Jedi known as Omancor Crask and his droid and Jedi army.

Immediately following victory at Antei, most of the Dark Jedi of [[Clan Plagueis]] returned to the [[Jusadih System]], as per the orders of Consul [[Braecen Kaeth]]. Braecen himself did not follow. He was ordered to remain on Antei for the time being where the new Grand Master, [[Muz Ashen]] could keep tabs on him. This left Proconsul [[Alaris Jinn di Plagia]] in command. This gave Jinn the opportunity he needed to continue his ascension to the Plagueian Throne. He began to make sweeping changes to the military outlook of Clan Plagueis.

Finally, after four months without Braecen, Alaris made the most overt move for power by attacking and capturing [[Cethgus Kuga]] with the assistance of [[Arion Sunrider]]. Jinn declared himself [[Consul]] which immediately caused a rift between the two Houses of Clan Plagueis. [[House Satal Keto]], more specifically [[Vivackus Kavon]] and [[Kal Vorrac]], were loyal to Alaris, who had once led the House himself. [[House Exar Kun]] was, at the time, under the command of Quaestor [[Yzarc Rellik Kaeth]], a member of the [[Kaeth]] dynasty and therefore loyal to Braecen.

Jinn sent the prisoner, Kuga, to [[Morroth]] to be handled personally by Kavon. Yzarc knew this would be the case, and expected Jinn to be there with them. House Exar Kun began a full sweeping attack of Satal Keto's holdings, eventually capturing the Quaestor, Kavon. At this point, Vivackus Kavon revealed the Braecen had contacted him months before and demanded his fealty. Kavon had given it to him, and it had been requested of him that he act as if he had aligned himself with Jinn, in an attempt to draw the would-be Consul out of his secrecy and declare open war against the Kaeth dynasty.

All chaos broke out. Houses no longer mattered. Dark Jedi were chosing which Consul to follow, Braecen or Alaris. The fighting moved to [[Kapsina]], where those loyal to Alaris were attempted to defend him, while those loyal to Braecen were trying to kill Alaris. When the fighting finally broke into the Throne Room at the apex of the Dark Tower on Kapsina, Alaris was already defending himself.

Braecen had arrived back from Antei and was overpowering Jinn. This was until Arion once again stepped into the fight. The battle fell behind the elevated throne and into the office of the Consul of Clan Plagueis. Braecen did not return from that fight. Only Alaris and Arion returned. Alaris declared himself Consul, undisputed, and he appointed Arion as his Proconsul.

===Clan Taldryan===

In order to access local space, [[Taldryan]] traversed the Shroud of Antei. The clan and naval forces were on high alert, with all elders and high ranking Equites serving via a Mind-Meld as means of communication between ships. At a moment’s notice, a Yuuzhan Vong Cruiser Analog emerged from the gaseous vapors of the Shroud and collided with the CSD Justice. The ship’s shields held as the dying warship broke up, more like a wet sponge than a once solid object.

Arriving in orbit around Antei, the clan established a blockade of part of the Southern Hemisphere’s AOR (Area of Responsibility) and transferred all Jedi to be landed in the initial wave. On the ground, Taldryan Dark Jedi along with the men of the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division held the LZ against enemy droids and tanks, taking several casualties but winning praise from the Dark Council. Marching south with the 2/2 Infantry attached, Taldryan assault a heavily defended ridge-top artillery emplacement. Here, several Jedi were encountered and slain along with scores of battle droids and enemy equipment. Operation Carbonite was deemed a success with the capture and sacking of the Artillery which allowed for the opening of local skies to Brotherhood air superiority and the advance of Clan Naga Sadow to their next objective.

Operation Spanner found Taldryan marching to Forward Operating Base Spear to reinforce the Naga Sadow presence there. Arriving just as CNS found itself beset once more by an enemy push, the Taldryan Dark Jedi leapt into the fray without rest from a 30km journey on foot. Together, the two clans and the 2/41st Infantry repulsed the enemy Jedi and attacks several times, but found the enemy to never cease it’s onslaught. It was decided amongst the Consuls that CNS would continue to hold the line while the Taldryan Dark Jedi made for an enemy encampment to deactivate the Droid Control Center. In a show of bravado, the CNS Jedi broke rank and attempted to complete the Taldryan task but found it impossible to keep up with the First Clan. Taldryan made it to the camp and found themselves beset on all sides. [[Vodo Biask]], Bubbles Taldrya, and [[Sidarace Rathden]] all found themselves overwhelmed during the attack and captured while attempting to rescue a Clan-mate.

In their final push to defeat the Jedi, Taldryan was ordered to the Du’sann Boundry to retake and hold the Triumvirate Library. At the same time, a rescue party was formed to retrieve the captured Dark Jedi using a Taldryan Assault Shuttle and the 1st Platoon, Bravo Company of the 2/41st Infantry. Enemy resistance at the Library was minimal and the surrounding area was taken quickly. It was decided however by Consul Shadow Taldrya that the risk to his men and that of the soldiers was too great to assault the underground Library and decided to seal the entrance via explosives for a later Dark Council team to take of.

The Taldryan rescue party arrived at the Dark Temple just before the final assault to find Quaestor [[Vodo Biask] and Bubbles Taldrya nearly at each other’s throats over the slaying of AED Sidarace Rathden, whom had been converted by Omancor Crask and asked to kill his former Master as a show of loyalty. The rescue shuttle was shot down in the Adas Plains by a pair of Vulture Droids as it left the Dark Hall’s airspace. As the Dark Hall was taken, Taldryan sent a second rescue party to the crash site and retrieved the injured Dark Jedi there.

Released from their obligations to the Grand Master, Taldryan returned to Kr’Tal swiftly to lick their wounds and recuperate from the non-stop combat.

===Clan Tarentum===

[[Tarentum]], having sworn loyalty to Darth Sarin to go to Antei, was immediately deployed to the north of Adas, tasked with establishing anti-aircraft batteries as well as securing territory to the northeast in order to set up a Central Command centre and a landing zone, in order to facilitate reinforcements. However, many of Tarentum's leaders' priorities were set elsewhere, toward the destruction of the Jedi and droid army itself. One Jedi in particular, Jorax Tuar, had a history with Tarentum's [[Consul]], [[Anshar Kahn Tarentae]]. The two dueled twice during the Battle of Antei, the second duel leading to Anshar's "death" and Tuar's murder by the hands of [[Proconsul]] [[Maxamillian von Oberst]].

Clan forces were later sent to the Du'sann Boundary in order to wipe up any remaining enemy resistance, with some members nearly succumbing to the light side. As the Jedi were attempting to convert members of the Brotherhood, Tarenti had to be vigilant in their fighting and consistently worked in groups. One of these groups, which included Consul emeritus [[Sith Bloodfyre]], decided to scout out any corpses - whether of Vong or of Jedi - that could used for the clan's necromantic purposes.

Tarentum's ultimate task was to secure Codei Prison, and a team was sent in to eliminate any guards who could possibly be protecting the building. It was there that the Tarenti encountered Sun Vail, the lost sister of the notorious Dark Jedi [[Bane]]. Sun Vail, able to survive the horrors of the prison and the Vong invasion, was now hideously deformed and out of her mind, having made a "deal" with the Jedi to stay out of their way and they would give her Antei once they were done with it. In the end, however, she decided to use a deadly pathogen similar to the Candorian Plague to wipe out both Jedi and Dark Jedi still on Antei by letting the pathogen move through the steam of Mt. Ashfire.

Due to her insanity and her lack of scientific knowledge, Sun Vail forgot one of the most essential parts of creating a pathogen, and therefore her revenge was a failure. Not wishing to succumb to more punishment and torture under the hands of the Brotherhood, she committed suicide by throwing herself into the lava of Mt. Ashfire. The prison, mostly intact, was secured, but throughout the war, Tarentum had suffered multiple casualties and returned to their home system significantly smaller in size. The death of Sarin, ultimately, would tangle up the clan with a strong distrust toward its [[Clan Summit|clan summit]].
