'''The Disciples of Dakhan''' are an elite team of members from [[Shar Dakhan|House Shar Dakhan]] of [[Naga Sadow| Clan Naga Sadow]]. Founded in [[30_ABY_to_39_ABY#35_ABY|35 ABY]] by Evelynn Wyrm to better combat the forces of the Inquisitorius and the Lotus Resistance. Only members who match a certain activity requirement are allowed entry into this team. The membership requirements vary from month to month, and are always announced by one of the Summit members prior to the start of the next month.

Fictionally, they are comprised of the very best that Shar Dakhan has to offer. Only those who have attained the highest level of skills in real world missions are invited into the Disciples of Dakhan. This means that there are no rookie members in the team, only the best of the best. The elite, and the elite do not fail.

== Mission ==
The Disciple’s mission, given to them by Evelynn Wyrm, is to provide a counter to the various conflicts created by the Lotus resistance and the [[Inquisitorius]]. In every situation these men and women are trained to assess the situation, and decide on the course of action which will benefit their House or their Clan.

As the Inquisitorius and the Lotus Resistance face off throughout the galaxy, [[Quaestor]] Evelynn Wyrm saw her missions going awry with increasing frequency. To combat these failures, she decided to enact Order 78. Under Order 78 the Disciples of Dakhan were created, an elite task force for which one had to qualify in order to become a member. The requirements for admission were harsh: 97% mission completion and only 2% collateral damage on completed missions.

== Traditions ==
As ordained by both its leader and its creator, the Disciples of Dakhan operate on a time-in-rank promotion scheme. The longer a member is part of the Disciples, the higher their rank goes. However, the qualifying requirements must be met at all times. Failing to meet these requirements sees a member being immediately dismissed from the team, resetting their time-in-rank as well.

They would be like a personal army for the Quaestor and Aedile, their bodyguards, their assassins. Vaar began his search for worthy members of House Marka Ragnos that could fill the ranks of this new battleteam. It took weeks but he finally found ten dark jedi that he deemed fit for the summit’s silent enforcers. There was only one problem, he needed a leader for this new battleteam. Many of the senior members fit the profile, but there was one Vaar had in mind from the beginning. One who, since his return to the Brotherhood, has been living in the shadows far from the eyes of the common people of [[Tarthos]].

The Aedile of Marka Ragnos ventured to [[Tarthos#Terra Do Gelo|Terra Do Gelo]], the frozen wasteland in the southern hemisphere of Tarthos. At the base of an extinct volcano on the far east coastline rested an abandon military outpost. There in the months since his return [[Jeric Cyrin]] had hidden from the rest of the world. Vaar arrived and approached the Sith asking that he came out of hiding and lead this elite team of Dark Jedi. Reluctant at first, Jeric finally agreed but only if the outpost was retrofitted and upgraded to serve as the battleteam’s headquarters.

In 39ABY a unknown army of droid-like cyborgs invaded [[Sepros]] in the Orian System. The forces of [[Clan Naga Sadow]] scrambled to intercept them, resulting in a brief, but intense battle.
=== Brief Overview ===

Little is known about these droids. They first arrived via a crashed transport. When the forces of Naga Sadow went to investigate, they encountered the unexpected. The droids quickly overwhelmed first responders and even challenged the clan's Dark Jedi, proving to be difficult opponents that seemed engineered for warfare.

Matters grew worse when a small fleet of star destroyers and their support vessels arrived, surprising the [[Warhost Navy]] and pushing them back until they were held at Sepros. The enemy fleet was finally routed with the arrival of the [[KSD Damnation]], which they did not expect.

Arachne are spiderlike droids that were first seen in the Shadowlands of Sepros. They appeared when members of Clan Naga Sadow were investigating a suspicious crash site near the catacombs. They are around 1.5 meters tall and their leg span is almost 2 meters wide. They are most known for their stealthy nature, striking from tall bushes and using their long and powerful legs to pierce their prey.
