The Wanderer known as '''Arack Tavar''' has not always been so; in what he calls "Past Lives", he has been a Battleteam Leader, an [[Aedile]], a Guard Commander, as well as a loyal soldier of Arcona, lover, and, more recently...a Demon called Umbra. During his time as Umbra, he wreaked much destruction and deceit against those he called friends and the one he loved, culminating in the Demon's death at the hands of a resurgent flood of emotion that the abomination was not prepared for, in the end driving it back into the Abyssal Plane. The man who was that Demon now stands aligned with [[House Marka Ragnos]] in [[Clan Naga Sadow]].

== Part I: Demonic Entity ==
===The Ritual===
The Ritual of Transference was performed on board the ''[[INT Creeping Darkness|Creeping Darkness]]'' by the Shadowlord, Mejas Doto. The Ritual took five hours and an immense amount of power, but did not drain Mejas in the slightest. In the course of the Transference, all of Umbra's powers, memories, abilities, traits, and even physical appearance was pushed into Talos' body, eradicating the once human.

When the Ritual was done, the young, handsome, Talos d'Tana was no more, instead laying in his place was a tall, pale, bald, and crimson-eyed monstrosity.
===Manifestation===

Umbra's first mission, and his revelation to the rest of Arcona, was to mend the the rift caused by the [[Shadesworn]] agents, and he was put aboard the ''[[ISDII Eye of the Abyss II|Eye of the Abyss II]]'' and made his way to the Bridge, where he confronted the entire True-Arconan Summit; [[Taigikori Aybara]], Legorii Kryotek Entar, [[Rho Ozrei d'Tana]], Tirna Quirja, and Xathia. Also present were Aiorius Van Trayus, Zakath, and [[Etah d'Tana]].

Within moments of his arrival, the klaxon for signal-arrival beeped, alerting the True-Arconans that a transmission was waiting. The Summit accepted and the cowled faces of [[Sashar Arconae]] and [[Vorion]], the co-leaders of the Shadesworn. Before Vorion could speak, Xathia and Rho swarmed the console; demanding to know what he had done with Alyssa and what Talos had become, respectively.

Vorion took the verbal onslaught and eventually quelled the ranting by raising a hand and a immediate silence fell over the True-Arconans. He explained the entire situation; including the purpose of the Shadesworn, the kidnapping of Alyssa to use as bait and the transformation of Talos into the Entity of Umbra. He then explained the reason that Umbra was onboard the ship and the Stair of Doto, the ritual that would pioneer [[Clan Arcona]]'s reclamation of the [[Dajorra System]]. The climbing of the Stair had begun.

===Gathering the 14,000===

The Fist of the Shadesworn's first mission during the Stair of Doto was to gather the secret and elite Task Force 19 from House Galere's former home, the planet of [[Sukhur]]. As the Abyssal Demon was preparing to depart in the ''Creeping Darkness'', flagship of the Shadesworn, the Lord Consul, Sashar Arconae, sent with him an aide in the form of Talos' brother, Etah d'Tana

The entire trip to Sukhur passed in relative silence, when Etah was not trying to pry answers out of Umbra, the Demon now in full control of the body of Vyranius. When the duo arrived at Sukhur, they found fourteen thousand black armored troops and one annoying officer named Neevil. Neevil quickly tried to assert his authority over the Demon and Sakiyan but resulted in the officer's death as he was grasped by a Shade Tendril and flung casually across the Grand Hall of the former Galeres base. Umbra then made Etah the new Battalion Commander, along with the de-facto rank of Lieutenant Commander.

The Demonic Entity then gave an invigorating speech, a trait of Talos' that had shown through, and the 14,000 Reclaimers (Task Force 19 code name) were boarded onto the Interdictor, bound for Selen and more specifically, [[Giletta Spaceport]].
===The Precursor ===
When the Reclaimers, Etah d'Tana, and Umbra landed via Assault Shuttles near Giletta, they found Selen a completely different environment. Oddly beautiful but radiating evil, the now terraformed planet was a true testament to the crazy biots of the Yuuzhan Vong.

On the first day of fighting, as the battle lasted just over seven days, Umbra and his men slew over a score of Yuuzhan Vong Warrior Caste members and it was there that Umbra realized the true extent of his passive powers, other than Shade Tendril, which he made excellent use of. The Entity was faster, stronger, and a better combatant, as well as immortal, but not invincible.

By the close of the third day, Umbra found something both disgusting and amusing at the same time. Not only could be restored by food and medicine, as he did not need sleep, he could heal himself and boost his innate abilities with consumption of Vong flesh.

Finally, the end of the Seventh Day dawned and the fighting started to cease as the call went out from Darth [[Sarin]] for a massing of forces in the orbit around [[Antei]]. The time to go home had come!

The fleets of the Six Great Clans dropped out of hyperspace around the Dark Council's fleet. With turbo-lasers primed and shock troops ready to deploy against the worshipers of Yun-Yuuzhan...but they found their most hated enemies...nowhere. The Vong Biot-Fleet had simply vanished, wiped out by some unknown force.

However, it all became clear when Darth Sarin released a message saying that a splinter cell of Jedi Knights had taken over the Dark Hall and a Jedi Master named Onmacar Crask sat on the Iron Throne. The long expected War would not be with the Yuuzhan Vong...but the Order of the Jedi.

The War lasted over seven weeks of non-stop space combat as well as field operations, which Umbra was part of. He worked in concert with [[Legorii Kryotek Entar]], the late d'Tana's best friend, as well as other Clan notables, including [[Timeros Caesus Entar]], Rho Ozrei d'Tana, and Taigikori Aybara. During the middle of the War, political intrigue wracked the Shadow Clan...Proconsul Vorion had succumbed to the lethal power of the [[Krath]] and had attempted a hostile takeover of the Clan. He was warded off by true members of the Clan, including agents of the Shadesworn, that errant cult he had led composed of the leadership. Vorion was left alone and the once respectable figure now pored over ancient tomes of Krath knowledge.

Finally, the dust cleared and the word was spread that the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sarin, had felled Jedi Master Crask in combat, but the exertion and loss of his lightsaber had meant Sarin's own death as well. When the Shadow Hand, now Thirteenth Grand Master, [[Muz Ashen]], found Sarin, he also found the corpse of the rogue Jedi Master laying next to him.

Sarin was interred and respects paid to one of the greatest Dark Lord's in the recent history of the [[Dark Brotherhood]]. Then...the time came for the Clans to depart, and for Arcona, that meant finally going back to Dajorra...but not for Umbra.

== Part II: Revert==

The tired Demon, after having gone nearly two months without Vong Flesh, which it had come heavily to rely upon, stumbled through the galaxy, into the deep space of the Unknown Regions, where he fell into a coma as his body succumbed to malnourishment. He was found, over a month later, by a member of the Order of the Silver Dragon and recognizing the abomination that the Demon was, the member took him to the planet of Zalso.

At Zalso, the Order of the Silver Dragon worked day and night, invoking rituals (that were Force-based, but that fact was unknown to the Dragons), that eventually, with the inner-humanity of the Demon cooperating, nearly restored Umbra back to a Human. However, not all was well for when the reborn Human awoke, a horrible, grating voice, resonated around the chamber of the Silver.

Ignoring the Curse at first glance, Arack profusely thanked the Dragon Elders and was about to try and find transportation off of Zalso when he was placed under arrest and knocked out...his restoration had come without a price, for now he was to serve the Order of the Silver Dragon as a soldier in their Armada.

===Desiderium===
For nearly a half year, Arack trained in both the ways of the Force and lightsaber, as well as intense tactical training, restoring Tavar's muscles and skills, as they had been wiped out during the Rituals. Plaguing him throughout his daily training though, was the fact that he done so much damage to his family and one true love.

After another a month had concluded, Arack was freed from his obligation of training with the Dragon Armada and given a shuttle back towards the System of Dajorra. However, as Arack, clad in resplendent robes of silver, sat in the back of the shuttle, he realized then and there that Arcona wasn't for him anymore...he had served merely as a ground auxiliary force in the War, nothing of note that had aided in their ultimate victory.

Quickly applying Force Persuasion to the shuttle pilot, he convinced him to take the shuttle towards the Orian System and more specifically, the world of [[Tarthos]]. Arack Tavar would join House Marka Ragnos and make amends...whatever the cost.

Long ago, the Heralds of time forgotten came up with the idea of a Warbanner, granted to members initially at the rank of [[Guardian]]. As one rose higher in the hierarchy of the Brotherhood, more options became available.

Umbra tore down the Red Dragon Banner that represented Talos d'Tana in battle and sketched a new one, having it made by the [[Herald]] Keibatsu. The banner is blood red with a black Shadesworn crest adorning the center. Hanging from the rafter of the banner is a silver medallion bearing the crest of Arcona.

Out of pure restrictions set in place by the Office of the Herald, Arack Tavar has kept this banner but he does not bear it in his quarters of the Cathedral, out of disgust for what the Demon did and for respect of his new Clan.

The creature known as '''Umbra''' is the manifestation of a Demon from Arcona's Shadow Plane. In 30 ABY, Shadowlord [[Mejas Doto]] summoned forth the demonic entity and provided it a vessel in the form of Shadesworn agent [[Talos Vyranius d'Tana]], who had willingly agreed to the process. The identity of Talos was obliterated and replaced with the memories, powers, and needs of the Demon, transforming not only his mental outlook but also his physical appearance. However, in 31 ABY, through a stressing series of [[Sith Alchemy|Rituals]], the dormant Talos d'Tana broke free of the Demon's hold and reverted back to his human self, casting the Entity back into the Abyssal Plane.

The Black Guard was founded by Daihok Endymiron and Shin’ichi Endymiron Keibatsu as an elite guard unit selected to serve their assigned summit member in the same way that [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darth_Vader Darth Vader] served [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palpatine Emperor Palpatine]. Acting as their iron fist and shadowed hand.

The idea struck the two [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Jedi Dark Jedi] shortly after Daihok ascended to the position of Quaestor of [[House Marka Ragnos]]. Feeling that his position was shaky and his safety uncertain Daihok sought to have his cousin Shin’ichi, then known as [[Tharivol Endymiron]], act as a bodyguard for the sole purpose of defending him from physical harm. As time went on Shin’ichi took it upon himself to act in a more proactive manner and began to route out conspiracies and plots against his cousin and master eventually acting upon them with deadly resolve. Soon he found himself investigating not only plots against the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos, but plots against the whole of [[Clan Naga Sadow]]. The two felt the time had come for Naga Sadow to defend itself against all threats both overt and covert.

They approached the Overlord, Consul [[Xanos Zorrixor]], and Proconsul Trevarus with a proposition to form the Order of the Black Guard. After much debate and discussion the idea was approved and Daihok and Shin’ichi were told to seek out six more members to form the order. Thus the Order of the Black Guard was born.

Over time the order has developed into an extensive network, with many guardsmen going on to serve in various leadership roles within the clan. This is only natural considering the close relationship guardsmen have with their assigned summit leader. While only seven members are active at any one time, any previous guardsman can be called up at a moments notice to serve the will of the summit. For this reason the Black Guard know that only death will release them from their vows.

Only the best of Naga Sadow are selected to act as Black Guard. Through activity, skill, and observation of demonstrations of loyalty are potential members selected. Some go their whole careers in Naga Sadow without ever serving in guard.

Once a potential candidate is recruited they are sent to Sadow Palace for the first phase of training. This phase is known as “indoctrination” and consists of classroom instruction on a wide variety of topics including; procedure, interrogation, galactic law, slicing, finance, political science, etiquette, business practices, analysis, critical thinking, cross cultural studies, and special one-on-one classes on loyalty. This phase also contains light physical training and lasts one year.

At the completion of year one, candidates that pass their courses, are sent to Tarthos for their second year or phase two. This phase is known as “hardening” and consists of all manner of physical training both in enclosed gymnasiums and in the field, and field operations and skills. These courses include; small arms, heavy weapons, bladed weapons, demolitions, intense lightsaber drill, force drill, assassination technique, vehicle operations, spacecraft operations, field tactics, stealth, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SERE escape evasion and survival], surviving interrogation, intelligence gathering, counterintelligence, and other classified courses.

== Brief History ==
Within five thousand years after his death, Naga Sadow's only living descendant, Astronicus “Tron” Aurelius Sadow, brought back the glory of Naga Sadow by making a House within the Brotherhood of the Dark Jedi.

House Naga Sadow was made up of those whom the Brotherhood would deem as "Rogue Jedi." These rogues had been long in looking for a house that could suit their needs as well as show them the way of the Dark Side. A continuous call to Rogue Jedi went on, showing that House Naga Sadow was a safe haven and a home away from home - providing for those in need. An individual named Lee Tingnot Eagelye answered this call.

Warrior Eagleye, intrigued by the call, traveled to the Phare System and met with the Summit of House Naga Sadow. Eagleye was impressed with what he heard and agreed to join the young house. Being the leader of the followers of former Sith Lord Ludo Kressh, Eagleye brought with him a large band of Dark Jedi called the Iron Fist. The Iron Fist was named after the way that Ludo Kressh ruled the Sith, with Eagleye as Sergeant they become the brigade of House Naga Sadow.

After a short time House Naga Sadow was to become a clan. Eagleye was once again called before the Summit and was offered the honor of leading one of the three houses of Clan Naga Sadow. He accepted and created House Ludo Kressh, bringing with him the followers of the former Dark Lord of the Sith.

For years House Ludo Kressh was the home of the Sith of Naga Sadow. The most overt and violent of all of the Dark Jedi orders, the Sith are known for warring with anyone, even other Sith. Killing for little and attempting to rise in prominence through conflict and all-out warfare, the members of House Ludo Kressh were the true Warlords of Clan Naga Sadow.

Over time the Brotherhood changed and Ludo Kressh changed with it. No longer consisting of just Sith, the house became more balanced and less blood thirsty, until a few Sith from the old days returned and brought with them the traditions of generations past.

The three orders that made up Ludo Kressh quickly formed together and prepared for war.

== Government and Politics ==
House Ludo Kressh follows the Clan Naga Sadow procedure of primarily operating in secret. It is led by the [[Quaestor]], whom takes care of
most of the day to day work.
The Quaestor is aided by his deputy, the [[Aedile]]. The House is split into three Battleteams. These are each led by a [[Battleteam Leader]] and consist of 12 members each. Together they make up the House Summit in service to the [[Consul]] and the [[Proconsul]].

Upon arriving in the Orian System, the [[Dlarit Corporation]] established relationships with the populations of all inhabited planets. The Corporation successfully met with an agreement and took over the government of the system. Unbeknownst to the locals, members of Clan Naga Sadow were given positions in the Government. On the planet [[Aeotheran]], the Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh is the [[Governor (Dlarit Corporation)|Governor]] and the Aedile serves as [[Lieutenant Governor (Dlarit Corporation)|Lieutenant Governor]].

The [[House Overlord (Clan Naga Sadow)|House Overlord]] is used to recognize the patriarch of each House in Clan Naga Sadow. House Ludo Kressh relies heavily on its Battleteams to defend and protect the House. House Ludo Kressh presently is located in the [[Orian system]] although it originated in the [[Phare System]]. A former homeworld of the [[Sith Lord]] [[Urias Orian]], Orian has seven primary worlds with House Ludo Kressh controlling one.

[[Aeotheran]] is the perfect distance from Orian Major to sustain life and is completely covered in jungle. House Ludo Kressh has established its main base of operations on Aeotheran, the mining city of [[Seng Karash]] together with the [[Marakith Skyhook]] which together have a combined population of around 200,000.

===The Dentavii Belt===
[[Dentavii Prime]] was once the sixth planet in the Orian system. Today it is an asteroid field, torn apart by the twisted alchemy and dark powers of the system's former ruler, [[Urias Orian]].

Upon arriving in the Orian System, House Ludo Kressh took Dentavii Prime as their home base. After a short stay, the House moved to Aeotheran the former homeworld of the extinct [[House Primus Goluud]]. The Dlarit Navy has established a small covert base of operations in the former home of House Ludo Kressh to act as a refueling depot and a staging post for attacks.

===Ullyr===

[[Ullyr]] is one of three inhabitable worlds in the [[Phare System]] singled out for primary colonization by the Empire during its discovery. Ullyr's vast expanses of primeval forests and abundant wildlife prompted Ludo Kressh’s founder Eagleye to establish their home base, Kressh Fortress.

House Ludo Kressh called Ullyr home for years until the Sons of Sadow responded to the command of the Dark Lord of the Sith and commenced an immediate evacuation of the Phare System.

== History ==

===The Beginning===

Shortly after the great House Naga Sadow became a clan in the year 15 ABY, Grand Master Justinian Arcanious Khyron declared all Houses in the Dark Brotherhood would be [[Order]] specific. House Ludo Kressh was declared to be the home for the Sith of Naga Sadow.

All of the Sith from Primus Goluud and Marka Ragnos traveled to Ullyr to report for duty, including Nova and Denarii squadrons. Upon arrival, Quaestor Manesh Sadow announced the new squadron structure of Ludo Kressh and renamed the three squadrons.
Nova squadron from House Primus Goluud was to be Emerald squadron. Denarii squadron from House Marka Ragnos was declared Diamond squadron. And Zealot squadron, the elite Sith of House Ludo Kressh, was to be Sapphire squadron.

The first year of the Squadron’s history was uneventful; Jedi Hunter Kanasu was the first to be named Commander of Sapphire. His command was short lived and Jedi Hunter [[Xander Drax]] was next in line. Commander Drax was one of Ludo Kressh’s finest pilots and helped form Sapphire into the Deep Strike squadron it is today. After a short time however, he was called away due to a civil war happening on his home planet. Sapphire was left commander less for some time until a young Dark Jedi Knight decided it was time for a change.

In May of the year 16 ABY Dark Jedi Knight Scithe was named commander of Sapphire. He took the position with great enthusiasm and began to mold the squadron into what it is today. Scithe created a structure for the squadron that it had never had before. He created Flights, assigned ships, created nicknames and mottos, and even formed his own merit system to award the pilots. Assigning Jedi Hunter’s Janos Silverwulf Sadow and CrimsonAngel to Flight Leaders he helped teach these young Dark Jedi so they could be future leaders of Naga Sadow. Commander Scithe did such a good job that when Aedile Darth Vexatus was promoted to Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh the only chose for the open Aedile position was Dark Jedi Knight Scithe.

===The Uncensored Time===

The next few years of Sapphire Squadron are looked upon highly to some while others like to push these years under the rug and forget about them. No matter what your opinions are of the events, the fact remains these things really did happen.

Next to be named Commander of Sapphire was a Flight Leader from Diamond Squadron named Robert Daragon. Commander Daragon quickly filled the open positions in the squadron with new members including Malik, Carl Lost, Karimicus, and Neo. These members, along with Flight Leaders Silverwulf and CrimsonAngel, would make sure House Ludo Kressh was never the same again.

Sapphire began to separate itself from Emerald and Diamond as the elite Sith of Ludo Kressh. The squadron led in the conflict with House Oriens Obscurum of Clan Arcona which resulted in a Ludo Kressh victory. Half of Ruby Squadron, the elite members of the house, was made up of Sapphire pilots. Not to mention the comradery that existed among the members of the squadron, it was truly the golden age of Sapphire, until a simple squadron mascot changed everything.

It started out as a simple joyride in one of Ruby squadron’s Phalanx Gunboats that lasted a little two long and ended up bringing back extra company. Commander Daragon “borrowed” CrimsonAngel’s gunboat and went on a gambling/drinking trip. Not remembering too much about the journey he was welcomed back by most of the Clan’s Summit. Upon his very noble attempt to explain where he was a passenger was noticed in the gunboat. It seemed the commander had won a seal in a sabacc game and it was to be the new mascot of Sapphire. That seals name was Fred.

That one event set of a chain reaction that made the other members of Ludo Kressh very afraid of any encounter with a member of Sapphire. CrimsonAngel began to have an obsession with vodka and hotpants. Neo, who would only answer to Eddie the Ewok, had the entire Kressh Fortress ventilation shafts mapped out and it was his only mode of transportation. Malik began planning to build a hut for himself on the moon of Ullyr. Carl Lost was continually confused by the new Sapphire Lost and Found department. Karimicus began to babble incoherently (although we think this just might have been normal for him). The rumors of the hookup between Commander Daragon and Fred were the hottest topic in Ludo Kressh. And the main objective for every member of Sapphire was to somehow annoy Quaestor Darth Vexatus.

Quaestor Darth Vexatus took most of the abuse from Sapphire squadron, from being nominated for Ms. EH to them cooking up and eating his pet vornskr. The Quaestor was the first suspected when Commander Daragon went missing. The first couple of weeks no one realized he was gone and he was prone to go a drinking binges. But after a month the rumors began to start, first it was the Quaestor had got tired and had him killed, and then it was a lover’s quarrel with Fred. Three months went by and no one knew the whereabouts of Robert Daragon. With a missing in action commander, Quaestor Vexatus was forced to find a new one and he didn’t have to look very far.

Longtime Sapphire member Jedi Hunter CrimsonAngel was appointed to replace the missing Robert Daragon. CrimsonAngel quickly named Neo as the new guardian of Fred the seal as he was still the prime suspect in the former commander’s disappearance. This decision would start to turn the members of Sapphire against each other.

The more time Neo and Fred spent together the closer they got and soon became a couple. However, little did Neo know that Fred was sneaking around behind his back with Janos Silverwulf. Janos soon became tired of being the “other women” and wanted Fred to dump Neo and marry him, but before Fred could decide his original master Robert Daragon returned from his leave of absence. When Neo found out that Fred had been cheating on him he was devastated and demanded that Fred choose once and for all who he was going to be with. Fred chose Neo.

Neo was so delighted he immediately asked Fred to marry him and Fred accepted. Robert Daragon couldn’t take the pain of not being chosen and left Sapphire to House Marka Ragnos. Janos Silverwulf began to drink himself into oblivion because of the rejection. The demise of Sapphire squadron had begun.

All of Clan Naga Sadow was eagerly anticipating the wedding of Neo and Fred. The invitations had gone out and the great hall of Sadow Palace was reserved. Neo had chosen CrimsonAngel as his best man while Fred had chosen Quaestor Vexatus as his bridesmaid. Robert Daragon, now a Krath Priest was to perform the ceremony. Everything was going great, than tragedy struck.

While Fred was trying on wedding dresses Consul Shan Long stormed into the room with a group of men with large guns and strange accents. Shan Long plucked Bob the goldfish out of his bowl and swallowed him in one gulp. With a snap of his fingers shots rang out and the smoking carcass of Fred fell to the floor. The Consul had all he could take of Fred the seal.

A full investigation was ordered by Commander CrimsonAngel on the death of their mascot, widower Neo was devastated at his loss. Upon investigation it turned out it was not Fred at all, but Janos Silverwulf in a seal costume and dress that was shot. Than a ransom note showed up at Kressh Fortress from Robert Daragon stating that if they ever wanted to see Fred again they would pay for his rather large bar tab he had accumulated. It appeared the entire Shan Long attack had been a cover for Daragon to kidnap Fred and take him to the planet Loki. Commander CrimsonAngel was furious and refused to pay the ransom, Sapphire would get Fred back and Robert Daragon would pay.

The members of Sapphire squadron teamed up with Emerald squadron, which now had former Sapphire pilot Malik as its commander, and headed towards the home of House Marka Ragnos on Loki. Successfully infiltrating the Cathedral the pilots all went their separate ways to locate their kidnapped friend. Sapphire pilot Abel Malik managed to urinate in the Cathedral’s water system while Neo and CrimsonAngel defeated Robert Daragon locking him up in pink furry handcuffs and rescuing Fred from the clutches of the Krath. Fred was back in Sapphire and together again with his true love Neo; the wedding would take place as planned. Robert Daragon was officially charged by the Quaestor Vexatus of seal abuse and was sentenced to ten days in a locked room with ten gungans.

The next few months saw lots of drinking, gambling, and one Ludo Kressh marriage. Commander CrimsonAngel decided he was bored and when a Sapphire commander is bored something happens to the Ludo Kressh Quaestor. CrimsonAngel stole the Quaestor’s personal shuttle, and decided Vexatus needed a wife. Upon CrimsonAngels return, he had a wife on board for the Quaestor and decided that he needed to make it all official, so he called up the one person he knew that would help out in this kind of
situation. Still wanting to get a little revenge for the seal abuse conviction, Robert Daragon was more than willing to assist the commander. Together they both set to work, preparing the Quaestor’s wedding ceremony. Flowers, Vodka, Cake, it was all ready to
be used in the celebration. While Quaestor Vexatus sleep, CrimsonAngel and Robert Daragon escorted the Quaestor’s new wife to his room. Laying his new wife next to him, they gathered all of House Ludo Kressh to witness the occasion. Every thing was ready, CrimsonAngel had the camera, and Krath Priest Robert Daragon spoke the final words as Vexatus awoke; "I now announce you Man and Hutt. You may now kiss the Hutt."

With one wedding out of the way the members of Sapphire eagerly awaited what would surely be the party of all parties; the Neo Fred wedding. Just weeks prior to the date, Neo was appointed the new Aedile of House Marka Ragnos along with the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Neo was ecstatic, not only was he getting married and a new position, but he would finally get to build his own lightsaber. However, before any of this could happen, tragedy struck. In September of the year 17 ABY, Dark Jedi Knight Neo in route to his new home in House Marka Ragnos was killed in a shuttle accident. The entire Clan mourned the loss of one of the truly remarkable members to ever grace its halls. Fred the seal went into recluse and the partying in Sapphire came to a halt, but after some time passed Commander CrimsonAngel regrouped Sapphire and they once again began to drink into stupors as the late Neo undoubtedly would have wanted it.

The next few months Sapphire squadron was busy with many operations. A Dark Brotherhood Vendetta, the Quest, took place; along with Operation Blackhammer and the Orbs of Power. Then, there was the Pregnancy Mystery League. Former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow Shan Long’s wife was pregnant and the entire clan wanted an explanation as it was obvious Shan Long could not be responsible for it. The members of Sapphire and Diamond squadrons united to find the answers to this mystery. They staked out the Dark Hall watching the Long’s quarters for weeks until at last they caught someone trying to sneak in. The intruder turned out to be Fred the seal. He had turned to the former Consul in his time of grief and revealed that he was the father of Shan Long’s baby. But that was only half of the story as it was not Shan Long’s wife who was impregnated but Shan Long himself. After the Shan Long event Fred the seal was sent back to Sapphire squadron and forbidden ever to set foot near the Dark Hall ever again by the Dark Council. Commander CrimsonAngel quickly appointed Abel Malik as the new guardian for Fred.

The next few months were anarchy as usual in House Ludo Kressh. Sapphire and Diamond squadrons squared off in the Kings of Tomorrow competition with Sapphire being victorious. Abel Malik proved to be no match for Fred and the seal caused numerous disruptions among House Ludo Kressh. And than Quaestor Darth Vexatus was promoted to the Clan Summit thus causing a leadership chain reaction in Ludo Kressh with Scithe becoming Quaestor and Commander CrimsonAngel becoming Aedile. There was only one logical choice to replace CrimsonAngel, a long long member of Sapphire; Janos Silverwulf Sadow.

===The Fourth Age of Sapphire===

Commander Silverwulf had lived through the times of glory and his reign as commander would be a difficult one. With most of his fellow pilots from the past moving on, CrimsonAngel as Aedile, Robert Daragon as commander of Diamond, DarkMage as commander of Emerald; Sapphire fell from its days of glory. The squadron was beaten in a rematch against Diamond squadron and than Abel Malik left Sapphire and Fred to join Darkmage in Emerald. And than House Ludo Kressh went silent, Robert Daragon was named the Quaestor of House Primus Goluud going with him were CrimsonAngel and Fred the seal to lead the new Dark Element battleteam. Darkmage and Abel Malik left the clan entirely leaving Commander Silverwulf and Carl Lost as the last remaining members of a lost era. Janos took the title as the Last Drunken Commander.

After over eight months of struggling to keep Sapphire alive while the likes of Emerald squadron got closed, Commander Silverwulf stepped down from his position but remained in Sapphire. Replacing him was an unfamiliar to Sapphire, Sith Warrior Crix Madine. Commander Madine would not even last two weeks in Sapphire before he left leaving Sapphire once again without a commander.

===The Return of Bob===

Returning from slumming it with the Obelisk of Naga Sadow, Robert Daragon once again took charge of Sapphire. Naming his old friends, Carl Lost and Janos Silverwulf as the Flight Leaders and returning Fred the seal to his rightful place as squadron mascot, the heart of Sapphire slowly began to beat once again.

With the strong leaders of Sapphire working together they quickly began to move in the right direction with the help of newer members Uther and Konus Auryus Sadou. A rematch was organized against Diamond squadron to avenge Sapphire’s last defeat and the squadron did just that by defeating their rival. Than a Great Jedi War broke out and Sapphire was called to active duty. However during the War, Quaestor Scithe resigned from his long reign as leader of Ludo Kressh and Commander Robert Daragon was called away to replace him. Taking over as commander of Sapphire was long time member Carl Lost.

Commander Lost’s reign was a short one as soon after he took command the great Exodus from the Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet took place. Carl Lost was a dedicated member of the Emperor’s Hammer Tie Corps and stayed behind with some members while other members of Sapphire packed up and left with Clan Naga Sadow to the Orian System.

===A New Era===

It took a month for Sapphire squadron to reorganize in the Orian system. Quaestor Malik, the new leader of House Ludo Kressh, appointed Konus Auryus Sadou as the new commander of Sapphire. Commander Sadou led through a very difficult time in the Sith Order. Many of the Sith remained behind in the Exodus leaving House Ludo Kressh with very little manpower. When Quaestor Malik was promoted to Proconsul and Commander Sadou resigned, newly appointed leader of Ludo Kressh Manesh Sadow was forced to close the squadron he had originally created. Sapphire Squadron was out of business. For nine months the Sapphire hangar remained empty, until in April of the year 21 ABY a familiar face returned to Ludo Kressh and brought with him the ways of old.

Robert Daragon returned to Ludo Kressh and found his old stomping grounds were all closed up, so with the permission of Quaestor Manesh he reopened the once mighty squadron. Commander Daragon’s first task was to get some members in the empty squadron, which he quickly did with the help of some old faces of Naga Sadow. Out of semi retirement came Jonuss Rai Sadow, Scithe, and Konus Sadou and together they helped the squadron slowly return to the ways of old. After a short time Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Primus Goluud and Konar Sadou took over for his second term as Commander of Sapphire.

Commander Sadou led the squadron through another Great Jedi War which Sapphire really didn’t have much of a factor in. To try to spark up moral, Konar assigned a new squadron mascot, Rory the blue kangaroo. But sadly after only two days Rory was killed in a tragic landspeeder accident. The death of Rory was very difficult for Commander Sadou and soon they grief was too much and he stepped down as commander. Taking his place in a game of musical chairs was once again Robert Daragon fresh off his time from leading the Obelisk of Naga Sadow.

The new Quaestor of Ludo Kressh, Jonuss Rai Sadow, put much more focus on the battleteams than his predecessor helping Sapphire regain its old prestige. New members began to join Sapphire and make instant impacts. One such individual was Macron Goura who in no time was awarded with a Flight Leader position. Sapphire helped the Clan in the next Krath of Supremacy even though it went against all of the instincts to take part in a Krath event. There were the usual Sapphire parties of legend, one that saw the demise of Steve the baboon but then the Coconut Monkey Revolt happened. When Quaestor Jonuss Rai decided to step down as leader of Ludo Kressh, his life partner named Coconut Monkey was not happy with the decision. He became irate and began to try to take total control over Ludo Kressh. If not for the brave heroics of Sapphire squadron he might have succeeded and the house would not be the same as it is today. For leading Sapphire in the house’s time of need, Consul Malik Sadow appointed Commander Robert Daragon the new Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh.

In the next week Quaestor Daragon made some small changes in Ludo Kressh. He closed down the inactive Diamond squadron and appointed Diamond’s commander, Erlandil Valenthort, as the new commander of Sapphire. The format of the battleteams in Ludo Kressh changed also as they were no longer multi-order and Sapphire was once again a Sith only squadron. The Clan Summit created the Khar Shian Task Force and House Ludo Kressh was to lead the navy portion of this. The members of Ludo Kressh left their meager home on Dentavii and took their places on various ships of Clan Naga Sadow. Sapphire squadron was assigned to the flagship of the fleet: Strike Cruiser Wandering Soul. Commander Valenthort spent most of his days of seeking adventure instead of leading the squadron, so after a few weeks Quaestor Daragon was forced to remove him as commander. It was a easy decision for whom should take the reigns as the next commander as a young Dark Jedi had proven himself time and time again that he had earned the chance to lead Sapphire, so Mononoke “Macron” Keibatsu-Goura was appointed the next commander of Sapphire.

Sapphire squadron continued to elevate among the elite of Naga Sadow with the guidance of Commander Macron. Former commander Konar returned and took the position of Flight Two Leader and together with Flight Three Leader Maximus Raidoner Mandalore the squadron took part in numerous operations. When the Aedile of Ludo Kressh stepped down, Quaestor Daragon appointed the proven Commander Macron to the position.

The next in line for the coveted position of Sapphire Commander was Revenant “Caligula” Mandalore. Commander Revenant led Sapphire through battle after battle including spearheading the attack on Korind, a small country on the sun side of Antei, which paved the way for the Grand Master’s invasion force. After a short time Revenant stepped down as Commander of Sapphire and the person to fill his position was to be decided after the True Brotherhood incident. Quaestor Xia Long watched to see how the members of Ludo Kressh handled the events looking for the leadership qualities it took to lead a battleteam. Draken-Korin “Ylith” Elariel Atema proved him self capable and was appointed Sapphire commander. Due to the True Brotherhood incident the Iron Fist brigade was closed and that left the house with only two battleteams. It was decided that the teams would once again be multi-order and Obelisk and Krath were allowed to be members of Sapphire squadron.

Commander Ylith continued the strong tradition of Sapphire and assisted Ludo Kressh in thrashing anyone who dared to face its wrath. During this time House Ludo Kressh began to make its new home on Aeotheran and Sapphire adapted to its new surroundings. Soon Ylith’s ability to lead got him noticed and he was appointed as Aedile of House Marka Ragnos.

===No Squadron for Old Men===

It took very little time of Quaestor Malisane to find a replacement because as soon as the job was vacant he had a smelly old drunk sitting in his office refusing to leave until the decision was official. After a week, which made the man even more smellier, Malisane appointed Robert Daragon commander of Sapphire Squadron.

Rejoining the squadron were the elite of the clan such as Malik Sadow, J'Rai Sadow, Xayun, and Macron. Combined with new members such as Davin Olar and Billy the fainting goat as the newly appointed mascot, Sapphire once again grew to be a force to be reckoned with.

With a full squadron, Commander Daragon decided he wanted a headquarters away from the watchful eye of the house summit. He found such a place in the western part of Seng Karash naming it [[Zafiro Torre]]. This four story building is a smaller replica of the former Kressh Fortress and to this day remains as the home of Sapphire.

After a short time Macron was promoted to Proconsul of the clan and Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Satal Keto and once again Sapphire was in search of a Commander.

===The Quiet Year===

The next year saw Commanders Corin Solander, Davin Olar, Aries Vorak, and Krath Priest Starlion lead the squadron through numerous battles and adventures. There was a Rite of Supremacy: [[Second Darkness]], an Assault on Jaginos, the [[Invasion of Orian]], and the [[Eighth Great Jedi War]]. Sapphire continued to help lead House Ludo Kressh through each battle and set an example to the other members of the house. It was a difficult time for Sapphire, but better times were on the way.

With Commander Starlion wishing to slide back among the members of the house, Sapphire needed a new leader. Proconsul Ashia kicked over the nearest rock and asked Robert Daragon to once again become a Commander of Sapphire Squadron…..and the drunk was once again in charge.

===Betrayal on Thor===

On a routine mission to the planet Thor in the Phare system, Sapphire Squadron was shook upside down. The members had walked into a trap that had been set in motion for years. Fred the Seal had revealed himself as a traitor to Naga Sadow working for the remnants of the Phare system.

Along with Walord Kwanda Rosman, the leaders of the Phare system wanted their revenge on Clan Naga Sadow for their abandonment. Equipped with the deadly Sadow Virus, Fred flew the Sapphire Star towards Sepros planning to release the virus during the clan conclave. The members of Sapphire on Thor had already been infected with the virus, including Commander Robert Daragon. The Commander had been given a deadly dose of the virus that would soon end the veteran’s life.

After finally getting the upper hand on Warlord Rosman, Commander Daragon took the former Imperial Admiral’s life and contacted his former friend trying to stop him from his mission. Fred laughed at his former master’s request, telling him this was his destiny. The seal than revealed that he was the one responsible for the disappearance of former Commander CrimsonAngel; a betrayal that Daragon could never forgive Fred for. So the Commander than entered in the override code for the Sapphire Star and set a course for Orian Minor. The former flagship of Sapphire squadron crashed into the second sun of the Orain system, thus taking with it the long time mascot; Fred the Seal.

Thanks to the resident alchemist of Sapphire, Macron Sadow, a vaccine was created to stop the effects of the Sadow Virus. While certain members of Sapphire still have some effects from the virus, including Commander Daragon who was given a deadly dose, no one was killed by the virus and it can no longer be used against the Clan.

Since taking control of Vynar Industries, Angral has shaken off the cobwebs of inactivity and laziness and Vynar is now competing once again for the top spot in experimental technology development.

Rav Solace is a Human who has spent nearly all of his 27 years of life as a mechanic. He first found his love of droids when he was a mere five years old, when he dismantled his family's server droid then flawlessly put it back together, but not before upgrading it with not even released technology. The Solace Family Fortune kept Rav out of prison but from then on, he left Courscant and moved to Corulag, where he found work in a droid mechanic shop. In 30 ABY, when Talos d'Tana came to Corulag to set up the Tana Building, he witnessed Rav's skill with droids and one day later, Rav Solace signed on as the Head Designer of Droid Manufacturing for Vynar Industries.

Rav is an outgoing and friendly person and does not mind that his superior is both a [[Sith]] and fourteen years his junior.

Darsin Malus is a former Imperial fighter pilot turned master ship builder after a routine TIE Defender exercise went awry. [[JScumm]] introduced the two in 30 ABY, for Darsin was responsible for making sure that Blue Mist's A-9b's were up to date. When Talos became a [[d'Tana]] and given the reins of Vynar Industries, he sought out Malus and signed him on as the Head Designer of Starship Technology.

Malus is a seasoned war veteran with a negative view on how young the soldiers of today are. However, while he has a gruff exterior, he is a hard worker and loyal friend once he knows that he can trust you. He wears his TIE Pilot uniform constantly and has all of his commendations in a mortar board in his office, showing off his proud past. Darsin also flies an ancient Delta-7B Aetherspire Light Interceptor that has been modified over the years.

===Head Designer of Experimental Branch-- Ator Ykon ===
A former Mandalorian Death Watch Bloodguard, Ator leads the Experimental Branch, or 'Dark Sector' as it is called by the employees. Even after the decimation of the Death Watch, Ator wears his Bloodguard armor at all times. He resents the fact that Talos is a [[Sith]] and is usually the least friendly of the Head Designers. Ator has never been forthcoming with the reason as to why he despises the Sith, but recent inquiry has lead the CEO to believe it is due to the fact that a unknown [[Sith]] destroyed the Death Watch and this Sith was none other than a relative of Talos. The d'Tana keeps Ykon's behavior in line with the proper application of fear and trustworthy employee's on Dark Sector's staff.

Ator is a master combatant and loves his work. He is currently designing new armor technologies, which are being field tested by his staff, Maurier Security Services, and ODAC.

When Eojin merged his few students with the Jedi Praxium of Luke Skywalker, Muz expanded his training and eventually completed his studies.

Muz had ascended to the knighthood in the New Jedi Order, but not without concern from his master, nor without incident. Ashen seemed to be slipping closer and closer to the dark side, calling upon it to accomplish his goals when it seemed that all was lost. His eyes charred black by a Sith beast's death, Muz grew more and more imposing as his abilities grew.

=== Fall to Darkness ===

The final straw came when Muz's technological experiments crafted a synthetic cortosis-like fabric. The Jedi Council convened, remembering the events at the Keibatsu stronghold. They effectively banished him, sending him on an open-ended mission to protect a fabricated planet called Dearanor. When a dark Jedi by the name of Cor An-Jin showed up to destroy the planet and take the valuable resources, Muz was outmatched. Calling upon the dark side to defeat the darksider, Muz saved hundreds of thousands of citizens.

Upon reporting the incident to the council, he was derided for touching the dark side.

Muz's disrespect for the council grew exponentially, and he relinquished his sabre, quietly building a homestead on Dearanor. The local government honored Muz with a lavish ceremony and the gift of an ancient sword, the Nagamichi. The Jedi Council decided that they could not afford the liability of Muz falling to the dark side, and sent Knights to extinguish his threat. Facing their sabres, Muz expected to die. The sword he was given had other ideas, however. The sword had been treated alchemically to resist sabre blades and blaster bolts. Muz managed to survive the assault and left Dearanor, heading deep into uncharted places to avoid the New Jedi Order.

It was there that Muz first learned of the Dark Brotherhood, serving as a general in the Autocthonian Navy under the High Lord Darrow. Having saved the High Lord's life on more than one occasion, the highly decorated Ashen was gifted with one of the High Lord's own personal ships and an open invitation to return. Muz took his new ship, named it the '[[Fallen Spear]]' in a silent nod to his fall from grace as a Jedi, and set out for Antei.

=== The Brotherhood ===

Enlisting in the Dark Brotherhood, Muz quickly passed the Shadow Academy's coursework and was assigned to a Sith house, where his abysmal luck with smaller fighters made him more liability than asset. Manesh Sadow traded Muz to the Krath (for what some say was a six pack and a lap dance from Tissaya Argat, an attractive Chiss Quaestor of Marka Ragnos), where Muz flourished.

Assigned to missions with Kali Desdemona, Nekura Manji, Beowulf, and Korras, Muz quickly rose through the ranks of the Brotherhood, successes against all odds leading to his impending knight trials. Muz fought alongside the future Obelisk High Commander, even facing him as an ancient spirit possessed him, a fight that would claim Muz's left arm, but cemented him as a stalwart ally of the House. None of these experiences could have prepared Muz, as he never expected an old wound to be opened.

On a mission during the Independence Games, Manji and Muz fought against a small New Republic force, led by a Jedi. The jedi was one of Eojin Quon-Shen's students, and recognized Ashen as a fallen Knight. After slaying the knight, Muz discovered an encrypted datapad that belonged to his former master.

The datapad laid bare Ashen's lost history. Manji was his brother.

=== The Sixth Great Jedi War ===

After an architectural expedition uncovered an ancient Keibatsu holding that revealed treasures as well as a generations old animosity for the Antarrans, the brothers rallied, winning battles left and right against the Antarrans in the Great Jedi War. It was for their services during this war that they were raised to the higher offices of Quaestor and Aedile.

Ashen remained ashamed of his memory loss, remained embarrassed at the weakness of his will that enabled him to be brainwashed out of such things that were so important to him. He refused to take up the Keibatsu name, believing that he had not yet earned the right to bear it again, that he was unworthy. Muz trained incessantly, building his strength as he prepared for the next inevitable conflict.

=== The Last Krath Rite of Supremacy ===

When the ancient [[K'hamar'an]] threat resurfaced, the brothers were ready, rallying their house to greatness in what would be later called the Rite of Supremacy. The brothers led their house to unlikely victories, helping to make Clan Naga Sadow the second Clan of the Brotherhood.

After the war had died down, and summer boiled the snow from Tarthos, the brothers were faced with ancient magics and old curses. The Stone Lion, a beast known to the Keibatsu family by myth, only showed up to claim dishonorable kin, to clean the family tree. Muz knew that his reluctance to take up the family name would haunt him, but no one saw this legend as true until it arrived in the flesh.

Muz hunted the beast outside the walls of the Marka Ragnos Cathedral, and the epic combat that followed would leave Muz with the nickname of 'the Lion of Tarthos'. Having lost his mechanical arm and saber to the beast, the day was still Muz's. His sense of honor fulfilled and destiny paid, Muz Ashen took back up the banner of the Keibatsu, reclaiming his heritage.

=== Rising Through the Ranks ===

[[image:bottleofSadow.jpg|thumb|150px|left|Bottle of Sadow]]Shortly afterwards, Muz was called upon to serve as Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, leaving his younger brother installed in his place as Quaestor. The Brotherhood called on his expertise and also gave him duties in the Chamber of Justice, as well as a position as praetor to the Herald, where he was tasked with the creation of lightsabers.

Helping Consul Xanos Sadow to garner success in the Obelisk war, Muz's sense of duty to clan grew, even as Antei called for more and more of his attentions.

Finding the Tulok Hord Holocron with Xanos, the pair studied the lightsaber master's teachings very well, creating their own Holocron for general use of the Brotherhood, The [[Lightsaber Combat Guide]] with research assistance from [[Macron]]. Muz and Xanos had used the ancient artifact to hone their skills to such points that it became difficult to avoid the endless stream of challenges that came from such skill.

It was shortly after that when he was coerced into entering the Championship Tournament on Antei by his brother. Muz found himself victorious against great odds, having even been forced to fight the reigning Grand Master of the Dark Brotherhood, [[Jac Cotelin]], in a battle that would spin Muz's mind in new madness. Perilously close to losing control of himself and his demons, Muz fought on, managing to emerge triumphant, and named as a [[Champion]] of the Combat Centre.

Newly named as a Son of Sadow, news came from Antei that the Herald retired, leaving the Grand Master to appoint Muz as the new [[Herald]].

Muz's action as Herald has been well-received, the Keibatsu having generated scores of new lightsabers as he had a new home built for him, deep withing his family's ancient territory on Kyataru.

It was only a matter of time before Muz and his brothers raised an army to reclaim their ancestral homelands from those who had usurped them in their absence. After a long deployment of the Keibatsu and their allies, the Herald made use of clones bought from Kamino, the [[Nihilgenia]], as they forced the usurpers of their family's holdings back out of the territories. The 'Reclamation of Kyataru' lasted nearly three months, the Family returning to their clans and other duties just before the onset of the Seventh Great Jedi War.

=== The Seventh Great Jedi War: The Enemy Within ===

Time proved that there were indeed two Jacs...a cloned Grand Master serving to divide the Brotherhood literally. Muz sided with the Master he believed to be the true one. This proved to be harder than was thought, as his former allies, Xanos Sadow and Kaiann Entar had sided with the other one.

Having been named the Commander of the 'red Jac's' Forces, Muz had to lead armies against brethren during the long conflict, to the eventual seige of the Dark Hall on Antei, where he would face Kaiann Entar in combat.

It was only by the grace of the Entar's armour that he survived the famous saberist's assault. A massive outpouring of rage and hatred enabled the Entar to temporarily incapacitate the Herald, only to be himself knocked into unconsciousness by one of the cloned Grand Masters before their epic duel. After the Cotelins resolved their division, the Entar had absconded with the 'Skin of Fire', a powerful artifact, and Muz was given special dispensation to retrieve the artifact, by any means necessary. It was only two and a half weeks later that a haggard Muz returned triumphant. Rumors abound as to the details of their meeting, but the truth of the matter is that Muz himself doesn't speak of it, and Kaiann has not been seen since.

=== Aftermath of a War ===

[[image:Muz.jpg|thumb|150px|left|Muz Ashen, circa 26 ABY]] Shortly after the end of the war, Jac had left the Iron Throne to his student, [[Aristan Dantes|Lord Dantes]]. Haggard from the years of almost constant warfare, Muz seemed to grow more and more reclusive, spending more time away from court affairs when possible. Still, the regular shipments of sabers and warbanners were delivered by his ship, but fewer and fewer people actually had come into contact with him in person. Rumours flowed that the Herald was not as close to the Iron Throne as he once was.

The more perceptive members noticed the truth. The Herald was rarely aboard the ship when it made its deliveries, and stories began to filter back from the core worlds. Stories of young Jedi being slain in groups, their limbs sabered off and their chests caved in during the times in between the shipments.

The rumours grew even louder when the Keibatsu disappeared from Brotherhood space, all seeming to vanish into the mists of their homeworld to deal with some insurrection there. When they returned, Shin'Ichi, Muz's most trusted lieutenant, was horribly disfigured, and several more Keibatsu bore visible scars. None spoke of their experience, but all were visibly shaken.

Summoned rather publicly to the Star Chamber by Lord Dantes, Muz spent a full day with the Dread Lord, for whatever reason, neither would say. Three days later, Dantes made his speech to the clans over the Antei Holonet, drawing the clans outside the shroud to prove their supremacy in a training exercise that would become known as the [[Second Darkness]].

The Rite of Supremacy was a brief and bloody affair, the clans frantically maneuvering to gain the upper hand and be called the First clan of the Brotherhood. During this conflict, many of the Dark Council found themselves strained to keep up with the pace set by the aggressions. In the hours following the training exercise, [[Halcyon Rokir]] resigned his position as [[Shadow Hand]] and left Brotherhood space. In his place, Muz was appointed the new Shadow Hand.

Calling upon his old mentor, Muz convinced the Dark Prophet Kaine Mandaala to resume his reign as Herald, freeing up his time to administer to the Brotherhood more fully, learning under the Dark Lord of the Sith. But it was only a matter of hours before the warning klaxons rang out the unforeseen ambush that was the beginning of the [[Eighth Great Jedi War]].

=== The Eighth Great Jedi War : Incursion ===

[[image:MuzVongSaber.jpg|thumb|100px|right|Melkor's Saber, used by Muz against the Vong]]The Yuuzhan Vong struck unerringly, their timing impeccable as they marauded the assembled Brotherhood fleet outside of the Shroud of Antei. Immediately assuming command of the Vae Victus, Muz discovered that the Vong had also attacked several clan homeworlds simultaneously, with the bulk of their biological fleet running toward them at full steam. Arraying the ships to help beat back the assault was of no use, and Sarin ordered the newly appointed Shadow Hand to cover the clan's jumps to hyperspace.

The Vong had thought of that. Interdictor mines laced throughout the are ripped ships that attempted the jumps back into realspace, tearing them apart. The VSD Dark Prophet, flagship of Taldryan was crippled and then destroyed, the image enough to make the Bortherhood order a full retreat, running blindly into the shroud.

Muz and the others aboard the Vae Victus were not so lucky. Their shields devastated by the unorthodox weaponry of the Vong, their flagship deployed some sort of proboscis that tore open the hull of the bridge, breaching the ship and killing almost all of the people on board. Muz himself was captured and placed in the Embrace of Pain, a creature designed by the Vong Shapers to create vast suffering.

Half mad, naked and bleeding, Muz could not understand how the creatures knew so much about the Brotherhood, about him. The Torturing Ahm Crod called him by his titles in mocking tones as they ripped his prosthetic arm from him, spoke of how they would destroy all of the clans, exposing the Force as Heresy to their cruel gods.

As they prepared to sacrifice the Kyataran to their Gods of War, Muz pressed an advantage. [[Adien Corsair d'Tana|Melkor Corsair]]'s saber, carefully shielded by his mind from the exploding TIE that the martyr crashed into the Analog's side, ripped through membrane and muscle, shredding through Ahm Crod's head and into his waiting hand. Freedom from the Embrace was cold, and the revenge he would take from the Vong would keep him warm, even if he never lived to escape it.

Fighting until he waded in the black blood of the Vong, Muz donned the Crab Armor of the slain to help disguise himself and defend against their blows. Finding himself in the centre of their ship, Muz confronted their yammosk war coordinator. As his mind struggled to defend itself from the mental emanations, Muz found many of his own barriers removed, allowing his viciousness to shine through, the raw power of the one that called itself Ashen helping him to survive.

As the commander readied to scuttle his own ship, the Vong priest Volnagh appeared, ushering Muz to a coralskipper to save the Krath from the death of the No Peace. Rumours of Vong Heretics who accepted the Force Sensitives as representatives of their gods were used to justify the priest's actions, but as Volnagh had disappeared after Muz was loaded into the Coralskipper, it is unsure if this was the case.

Barely conscious, Sarin and Kaine retrieved the coralskipper, running him to medical where he spent several weeks in a Bacta tank, unaware of the devastating loss of the Brotherhood against the Vong, including the fact that his own son was missing and presumed dead. Even unconscious, Sarin would visit the Shadow hand, using the Force to gleam bits of information from him, and the realization was rather sudden, with Sarin having felt the trauma unlocking the floodgates of power within the Keibatsu. He was no longer a mere master. Muz was a Sith Lord.

=== Recovery ===
It wasn't but a few short weeks when Muz recieved a report from one of his contacts deep in the uncharted space. The report told of a lookalike to the Dark lord, a doppelganger that was being carted by strange aliens on a tiny crippled ship. Muz had slain an impostor before, but something had peaked his interest about this one. This one looked quite identical, but, as the report said, looked younger...and had bright violet eyes.

It could only have been Sanjuro, the son he had lost to the Vong war.

Muz gathered Ashia up and immediately departed for Kyataran space, a few journeymen stowing away on the Dark Lord's ship, only to be scared from their presence before they arrived at the Kyataran homelands. Waiting at Amahara for the Lord and his wife, the Herald Shikyo, cousin Tsainetomo, and close friend of the family Sildrin joined them with a legion of Nihilgenia, as they set course for Autochthonia.

Including many rooms for the various Keibatsu family members as well as training facilities and barracks for the [[Nihilgenia]], Kuroshin often serves as Muz's primary residence, and it is here where his trophy room of fallen foes' sabers is kept.

*''Amahara Castle'' - As Lord of the Keibatsu, the ruling family of Kyataru, Muz has control of Amahara Castle in Inazawa, the capital building for Shuuyoujo. The Castle grounds is a large estate in the middle of a rapidly modernizing city, with private shipyards and a large training facility. Having been fortified over the years, the Keibatsu have modernized the castle itself using less obtrusive technologies, even going so far as to redesign the defense batteries to look like more traditional Kyataran cannon.

Muz often is aboard the ship, and spends more nights in his luxurious quarters here than not, due to his duties keep him in motion a great deal of the time. Commodore [[Darius Blackwind]] commands the ship for Muz, and a legion of [[Nihilgenia]] help man it. A number of Autoch innovations keep this ship uniquely ideal for Muz's uses.

Having capitalized on many of unique circumstances has led him to control a corporation named the 'Ebon Flame'. This parent corporation is directly responsible for many sub-companies, which generally act independently. The overarching corporation is rather small, having only a few dozen employees, largely accountants and clerical staff. Offices are maintained in Coruscant, Demilla City on Ralltiir, and a new building is under construction in Inazawa on Kyataru.

*''EbonArms'' - The largest of the companies that fall under the banner of Ebon Flame is EbonArms. Having been started during Muz's time in the Autochthonian Navy as a black market smuggling operation, the company went more legitimate with time. Having used Autoch and Core World Weapons designers to create more effective weaponry, the company became known for high-end equipment. While much of the EbonArms products sit in the gun cases of wealthy sportsmen, several private security forces are outfitted with the very expensive and exclusive weapons. The Keibatsu's armed force, the [[Nihilgenia]] have been known to be equipped with EbonArms material. Headquartered near Demilla City on Ralltiir, with offices in Darrow on Autoch and in Inazawa on [[Kyataru]].

*''Gilmarin Jewelers'' - Having access to many Adegan Mines is a necessity for any Herald. However, only the finest and purest crystals are usable as focusing crystals in lightsabers. The crystals that do not make this cut are heavily prized for jewelry by high society and the elite. Selling the chaff gems to certain discreet dealers, Muz did a great deal of business with this company. Gilmarin Jewelry was purchased by Muz from Rog Gilmarin's widow, after her husband had died of old age. The Company had two stores, their original storefront and gem cutting estate on Ralltiir, and a more high-end showroom in a Coruscanti high-rise penthouse, which also included two additional floors of living space, which Muz had secured and retains as private apartments for himself and his agents on Coruscant.

== DJB Facts ==
Muz has served in many posts throughout the Brotherhood and in his home clan, Naga Sadow. His influence in guiding new policies and helping the clan to grow can be seen still, the result of a dynamic teaming with [[Xanos Zorrixor]], with whom he works quite well. Serving as Proconsul of Naga Sadow, Left Hand of Justice as well as Praetor to the Herald, Muz was instrumental in many projects, including the implementation of the Warbanner Project. Throughout his consequential reign as [[Herald]], Muz has been responsible for many of the improvements that are used by the membership. Most notable were the use of new [[Robes]], the [[Lightsaber Combat Guide]] and creation of better options with an all-new [[Lightsaber Creation Interface]]. From Herald, Muz was named as [[Deputy Grand Master]], where he continues to work to enhance the Brotherhood.

The Creation tool also unlocks additional saber designs with ranks gained beyond Dark Jedi Knight. At the rank of [[Sith Battlelord|SBL]], [[Obelisk Exarch|OE]], or [[Krath Epis|KE]], members are allowed to select certain [[Saber-staff]] and [[dual lightsaber]] designs. Hundreds of options are available through the use of this tool, which is expanded regularly.

As a supplement to a member's [[Character Sheet|character sheet]] for the [[Antei Combat Centre]], Muz (along with others) created a guide to understanding the many specific styles of [[Lightsaber Combat Guide|lightsaber combat]], providing a in-depth resource for members more interested in the ways of combat. Muz has also penned an 'Advanced Lightsaber Studies' Shadow academy course that is pending release.

When the existing robes of the brotherhood had to be replaced, Muz began work on a previously unprecedented project to replace them. He created a variety of [[Robes]], drastically expanding on the planned project of the previous Herald, Cyris. With different levels of customization available depending on your [[Rank]], over 200 different robes available for members. Custom Robes were made available to any member serving on the Dark Council as well. Prior to this project, members had no selections available, regardless of rank or order.

The Grant of Arms refit created the [[Warbanner]] project under [[Kaine Mandaala]], with the primary design by [[Cyris Oscura]]. Muz facilitated a huge portion of the changeover, filling requests to open the project to general membership in quick time. In addition, several upgrades and variations have been designed by Muz and are pending release.

Muz has also been known for his work with logos, having designed several clan, house and battleteam logos. A prize few have also been able to get custom character images from Muz, for general use and the wikipedia.

Further helping the membership of the Brotherhood refine it's martial prowess, Muz and his trusted lieutenant Shin'ichi worked to create another Holocron for the combat styles that peppered the universe. This holocron, called the [[Hand to Hand Combat Guide]], has a great deal of information for the budding warriors of the Brotherhood. Muz has also authored, and grades a Shadow Academy course to help people understand the intricacies of combat.

There are several projects that Muz has been working on in recent weeks, but word on these projects has been slow coming. == History ==

===Eagleye - 1st Quaestor===

The first Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh was Obelisk Warrior Eagleye. During his tenure, a temporary base of operations for the house was established on the planet of Ullyr in the Phare system.

However, soon after the formation of Clan Naga Sadow, many leaders left the clan, and power shifted several times. Proconsul Robert Daragon took a voluntary demotion to lead House Marka Ragnos. Obelisk Warrior Eagleye and Guardian Manesh were the only two applicants for the Proconsul position. Given his vast experience, Eagleye was the obvious choice for Proconsul, and he was promoted.

This left a void in House Ludo Kressh. For unknown reasons, the Aedile of House Ludo Kressh, Dark Jedi Knight Khaine Seth, did not apply for the vacant Quaestor position, and the position was given to newly promoted Sith Warrior Manesh Sadow.

*'''Khaine Seth (1st Aedile)''' - When House Ludo Kressh came into being, Khaine Seth was a Dark Jedi Knight and was appointed to the role. Not much is known about his history prior to becoming an Aedile.

===Manesh Sadow - 2nd Quaestor===

[[Manesh Sadow]] stands at the longest continuously reigning Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh, with a term of about 16 months.

Two months into his tenure, Grand Master [[Justinian Khyron]] proclaimed that houses in the Dark Brotherhood would be order-specific. House Ludo Kressh at the time consisted of members of all orders, after the restructuring, the house would be the Sith arm of Clan Naga Sadow. Many leaders of houses lost their positions during this restructuring, but Sith Warrior Manesh and Dark Jedi Knight [[Khaine Seth]] remained Quaestor and Aedile of House Ludo Kressh. This was perhaps by sheer luck instead of any demonstration of skill (Manesh had only been Quaestor for about two months prior to this change).

Hoping that there would be no further disruption in the Dark Brotherhood, Manesh and the members of House Ludo Kressh proceeded to build the house. Manesh always felt that in order to gain the trust and loyalty of his members, almost all efforts in the house would have to be cooperative. Therefore most decisions were considered by all active members of the house before being finalized by Manesh.

Back in those days, house communication and record keeping wasn't as automated as it currently is. Those circumstances, combined with the healthy size of the house, necessitated the need for a house [[rollmaster]]. The first roll master of the house was Dark Jedi Knight [[Kale]], inherited from Eagleye's reign. In addition, a unified communications system, otherwise known as a “mailing list” was created to improve the efficiency of the house communications system. It was initially Kale's sole responsibility to maintain this mailing list manually, however he grew to become a third leader of the house. At the time, the house was so active that several members complained about the bulk of communication.

Three squadrons were formed, and after approval from the newly appointed commanders and the general house membership, they were implemented. Manesh started his career in the Emperor's Hammer Corporate Division and remembered the squadron names then. He therefore used the same squadron names in the house: Emerald, [[Sapphire Squadron|Sapphire]], and Diamond. After the names and commanders were established, members were assigned.

About 18 weeks into his tenure as Quaestor, Manesh was promoted to Sith Battlemaster (SBM). A month later, DJK Khaine Seth retired as Aedile and was replaced by newly promoted Sith Warrior Kale, the rollmaster. Soon thereafter, the house deliberated for months, and with hundreds of emails, as to what kind of base to build, and what kind of facilities it would need. This involved a lot of petty bickering, and many changes. However, the decisions that Manesh made were final.

After hundreds of emails, the final base was established. The base built was an underwater base, with over 20 levels running deep underground. It might be considered one of the most well thought out and intricate bases in Dark Brotherhood history. (See: [[House Ludo Kressh Ullyr Base]])

One of the more persistent and (and some say troublesome) members of the house was Jedi Hunter Goatham. The damned most active and eager-to-please member of the Dark Brotherhood, according to Manesh. Since Goatham needed an outlet for his enthusiasm, Manesh created the Shadow Academy Motivator (SAM) system, with Goatham in charge. The SAM system was similar in function to the current Envoy system employed by the Dark Brotherhood.

During Manesh's tenure several Consuls and Proconsuls resigned. These things happen naturally over the passage of two years. Manesh was offered the Proconsul position many times, but stubbornly refused. However, he knew that by staying in his position, he was holding back Aedile Kale. He eventually recommended Kale for the Proconsul position. At some point Kale became the Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow.

Choosing a replacement for Kale was a tough decision for Manesh. DJK Bond and DJK Goatham joined the Dark Brotherhood around the same time (although Goatham joined slightly earlier). Bond completed the Shadow Academy faster, and Goatham got in trouble for whatever reason. They were both extremely active. Goatham was the Shadow Academy Motivator, and Bond was the rollmaster. They were two outstanding members of the house, however Manesh chose Goatham as the new Aedile. That decision haunts the Clan to this day. Bond remained as roll master.

Manesh's reign was also known for the many aborted DB-wide competitions. Therefore the house did not have many opportunities to prove itself against the rest of the Dark Brotherhood. However, there was Operation Darkfall, a DB-wide competition in which HLK members ranked pretty well. The house was the 2nd ranked Sith house, and Clan Naga Sadow ranked 3rd.

Manesh created a point system to help standardize promotions in the house. It was eventually removed by DGM Astatine. There was a [[Great Jedi War]], and Clan Naga Sadow placed 2nd in that competition, and House Ludo Kressh was an integral part of that effort.

All in all, Manesh served under almost a dozen Consuls of Clan Naga Sadow, and four Grand Masters of the Dark Brotherhood. He was promoted to Sith Battlelord during those two years. So what could have possibly ended what seemed to be the never ending tenure of Manesh? Well, he was offered a position on the Emperor's Hammer High Court of Inquisitors (HCI), and this required him to resign his position as Quaestor. Replacing him was SW Goatham, the seemingly perpetual Aedile of HLK.

What about Bond? DJK Bond was promoted to Sith Warrior, but shortly thereafter transferred to [[House Marka Ragnos]]. He felt that remaining in the house, and taking the position of Aedile, as Manesh requested, would produce a schism of power in the house. In order to avoid that, he transferred to the Krath house, Marka Ragnos, amicably.

*'''Khaine Seth (1st Aedile)''' - Khaine Seth was the Aedile of House Ludo Kressh under Eagleye. It is unknown why Khaine Seth did not apply for the Quaestorship when Eagleye left. Manesh remembers Khaine Seth as being a good Quaestor. However, due to a misunderstanding, Khaine Seth left. Manesh was unaware that Khaine Seth had taken extended leave, treated it as AWOL, and dismissed Khaine Seth from Aedile.

*'''Kale (2nd Aedile)''' - Kale was the Rollmaster of the house and in time became an integral part of the House's leadership. When Khaine Seth was dismissed, Kale became the obvious choice for Aedile. Eventually Kale was elevated to Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, and later became Consul.

===Xanos Sadow - 3rd Quaestor===

A Dark Jedi Master now, [[Xanos Sadow]], known then as Goatham, stands as one of the most prominent leaders of Clan Naga Sadow. The leadership skills that benefited the entire Dark Brotherhood were formed as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh.

With Bond's transfer, Goatham's first job was to appoint a new Aedile and Rollmaster. With several well-deserving Dark Jedi Knights in the house, only one could be chosen. Goatham eventually chose DJK Scithe as his Aedile. SW Bond returned to the house as Rollmaster.

The first main challenge Goatham faced was a decline in activity in the latter months of Manesh's tenure. Goatham solved this quickly by starting up competitions and promoting activity on the run-on. One of these competitions was a competition with Clan [[Arcona]], in which House Ludo Kressh crushed [[House Oriens Obscurum]].

The design of the house's base was further refined by DJK Scithe, with detailed plans. In addition, the many of the rules and guidelines designed for HLK members were improved and were made more consistent. In addition, Goatham and Scithe implemented several extensions of the squadron system in the house. The Ullyrian Home Guard housed the retirees of the house, and Ruby Flight housed the elite pilots of the house. In addition, a ladder system was created to help determine where the members of Ruby would come from.

With the implementation of these new policies and a superb victory against HOO, Goatham was promoted to Sith Battlemaster (SBM).

Goatham sought to engage the house against some of the more renowned clans in the Dark Brotherhood. He challenged [[House Archanis]] of [[Taldryan]], one of the most famed Sith houses in the Dark Brotherhood, and Ludo Kressh once again succeeded against one of the best houses in the Dark Brotherhood.

During this competition, former Aedile of House Ludo Kressh, SBL Kale, was appointed Consul of Clan Naga Sadow, after the resignation of KAP [[Trevarus Caerick]].

With two victories in line, Goatham sought to maintain and expand upon the momentum of the house. Clan Naga Sadow challenged Clan Satal Keto, another strong Clan in the Dark Brotherhood. However, the competition was not organized properly, and even though the results clearly showed a CSK victory, the competition was considered a draw. It was a very sober conclusion to a winning streak for the house.

There was a small conspiracy involving the abuse of [[Fred the seal]], the Sapphire Squadron Mascot.

The house was finally given a chance to prove itself when a DB-wide vendetta was announced. This would put the house and clan against the rest of the Dark Brotherhood. In the end, the house placed 3rd among Sith houses, with its main strength coming from the mission creation portions. Unfortunately, Clan Naga Sadow placed 5th overall.

Shortly thereafter Goatham was promoted to Sith Battlelord. In addition, future QUA of HLK, Malik was named QUA of House Ronin of Alvaak. Outside of the house, a new Grand Master of the Brotherhood was named, [[Firefox]].

After the vendetta, the Dark Brotherhood overall fell quiet for a while, however the house continued running regular competitions. For bolstering the house over almost a year, Goatham was awarded the [[Sapphire Blade]], an award most members only dream of.

However, all good things must come to an end, and after 13 months at the helm of House Ludo Kressh, Goatham was promoted to Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. Replacing him was long-serving Aedile, newly promoted Sith Battlemaster Scithe.

At the same time Goatham appointed Scithe as his successor, he also named Sith Warrior CrimsonAngel as Aedile. Something Goatham started and Scithe was committed to continuing was the development of the House squadrons as a source of activity in the house.

Unfortunately, the early weeks of Scithe's tenure was plagued with a decline in activity in the house and the resignation of Aedile SW CrimsonAngel. After losing the position to Goatham over a year earlier, SBM Bond was appointed Aedile.

These patterns seemed out of Scithe's control, and got even worse when several members, including 2 squadron commanders, either went rogue or left for other houses.

The Sith High Warrior ran a competition for all of the Sith houses in the Dark Brotherhood. However, the house squadrons did not do very well in the competition.

Even Bond, who originally wanted the position of Aedile so badly, resigned from the position, and replacing him was SW Abel Malik.

At some point Goatham was made Consul of Clan Naga Sadow, and Trevarus Caerick returned as Proconsul of the clan. Abel Malik resigned as Aedile of House Ludo Kressh and was replaced by Sith Battlemaster [[Malik Sadow|Malik]] (not the same person).

A Great Jedi War was announced, the first such large competition announced in a long time. Midway through this competition, Scithe resigned his post as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. He felt that he didn't have the ability at the time to invigorate the membership of a house, and hoped that perhaps someone new would be able to do so. Sith Battlemaster Bob replaced him as Quaestor.

Scithe was the final leader from the legacy generation of House Ludo Kressh.

[[Malik Sadow]]'s promotion to Quaestor came in the aftermath of a schism between the Dark Brotherhood and the Emperor's Hammer. The Dark Brotherhood seceded from the Emperor's Hammer in an effort to reestablish itself as a sister organization to the EH as opposed to a subgroup. The Emperor's Hammer leadership did not agree with this decision, and this disagreement created a split. Two Dark Brotherhoods were formed, the original, loyal to the Dark Council, and another, loyal to the leadership of the Emperor's Hammer.

Many members of Clan Naga Sadow and House Ludo Kressh found their loyalty to the Emperor's Hammer stronger than their loyalty to the Dark Council, and decided to join the Emperor's Hammer Dark Brotherhood (EHDB). Many members of House Ludo Kressh left, leaving only a handful remaining. After an AWOL check, even fewer members remained. The house was at its weakest point yet. Without the Dark Brotherhood's tie to the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps, and a lack of platforms for the Sith order to use, potential new members were few and far between.

Malik proved to be ever vigilant, producing reports as if there were dozens of members, even if there were only 6 dedicated members.

The only major competition during Malik's tenure was the 2nd Sith War. House Ludo Kressh placed 4th out of 7th in this competition.

Near the end of the 2nd Sith War, Malik became Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. In his place, Manesh became Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. The house continued to suffer from a lack of new members. In addition, any promising new members were diverted away from the house for various reasons. This forced Manesh to make due with what he had. In fact, the remainder of this chapter will focus on individual members, because that was the focus of the house during this time period.

Prior to his installment as Quaestor, Manesh convinced Sith Warlord Jeff “Tiger” Loruss and Sith Battlemaster Smitrock to transfer to the house.

The first task was to pick an Aedile, and Manesh chose Sith Warlord Jeff Loruss.

Overall, the clan became bolstered because of efforts to increase activity in regularly scheduled Dark Brotherhood multi-player events. However, during the first major DB competition in Manesh's tenure, the 3rd Sith War, Manesh found himself earning the vast majority of the Clan's points. He did not get the support from the Clan he was hoping for. In the end, the Clan placed 4th in the Sith War.

During the Sith War, SBM Smitrock left. SWL Jeff Loruss left shortly thereafter. Manesh figured that with House Ludo Kressh only numbering eight members, there was no point in appointing a replacement as Aedile.

These developments eventually demoralized Manesh. He realized that as a solely Sith house, House Ludo Kressh might never regain the kind of membership and activity it once had during his first reign as Quaestor.

Despite overwhelming activity on his part during the Sith War, Manesh was so jaded by a lack of enthusiasm from his other members (including members from other houses who were allowed to participate in this Sith War) that he was not as active when the next Great Jedi War came.

Realizing that other Clans were closing houses down, particularly Sith ones, Manesh figured that when he resigned as Quaestor, it would be the end of the house.

This was not to be. Following similar actions by other clans in the Dark Brotherhood, Consul Malik Sadow and Proconsul Korras decided to close House Primus Goluud and incorporate its membership into the new multi-order House Ludo Kressh. This decision was reached when the Quaestors of both houses had resigned, quickly followed by the previous proconsul, Tissaya Luna Argat. The Quaestor of the remaining house, Korras, was assigned Proconsul. With not enough candidates for a Quaestor position, this was the only option.

Taking up the reign of the house was Krath Epis [[Canis Loopus|J'Rai Sadow]], former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow. He was the first Krath Quaestor of the house.

While his first responsibility should have been rebuilding the house, the clan was still embroiled in the Great Jedi War. He named Dark Jedi Knight [[Dessan]] as his Aedile. However, a couple of months later, Dessan was removed from the post. Rai, like Manesh, decided that there wasn't enough activity in the house to demand an Aedile.

Despite all of this, with some time, House Ludo Kressh returned to a healthy level of activity.

Rai started to feel ill, and decided that he needed a new Aedile to help him run the house. He chose former Tissaya Argat Sadow, former Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, however, she quickly left the position almost immediately after getting it.

As Rai fell into illness, a new House summit was needed.

Bob's first order of business was closing [[Diamond Squadron]] and creating a new squadron, the [[Iron Fist Brigade]], as an Obelisk battleteam. He later brought the [[Night Death Phyle]] to the house for the Krath members. This is the battleteam structure that the house has today.

Bob ran various competitions, and for the most part, the House was active. The [[Independence Games]] came, and the Clan did well, taking a close 4th. More importantly, the camaraderie that currently pervades the house started with Bob.

Near the end of Bob's term, the house exploded with activity unseen in many years.

However, all good things must come to an end. Bob stepped down as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh and was replaced by Aedile Macron.

Macron took the reins as Bob was stepping down. He found himself as a Quaestor without an Aedile for some time, but still rallied the House. During his time, Ludo Kressh became the First House of Sadow during a Clan Feud. Mononoke encouraged competition, and strove to make sure everyone was having a good time. Even some largely inactive older members became active again during his quaestorship, much to everyone's delight.

Notable works include helping to re-formulate the Clan Knight Trials, and helping to write the [[Lightsaber Combat Guide]] with Muz and Xanos. Macron also authored the Lightsaber Basics and [[Sith Alchemy]] [[Shadow Academy]] courses for the Brotherhood at large during this time. A contest was run to re-name the traditionally Krath Battle team to "Jade Serpents".

She was appointed Aedile by Macron, and upon Macron's retirement became Quaestor.

Sildrin proved to be a strong Quaestor. In fact, she led the house during Clan Naga Sadow's outstanding performance in the 6th Great Jedi War, considered by the clan to be the greatest performance the clan has ever had.

Not only was Sildrin a good leader, she also had many talents. The Grand Master of the Dark Brotherhood, Jac Cotelin, recognized this and named Sildrin the Dark Brotherhood Seneschal, elevating her to the Dark Council.

== History ==

===The Beginning===

Shortly after the great House Naga Sadow became a clan in the year 15 ABY, Grand Master Justinian Arcanious Khyron declared all Houses in the Dark Brotherhood would be [[Order]] specific. House Ludo Kressh was declared to be the home for the Sith of Naga Sadow.

All of the Sith from Primus Goluud and Marka Ragnos traveled to Ullyr to report for duty, including Nova and Denarii squadrons. Upon arrival, Quaestor Manesh Sadow announced the new squadron structure of Ludo Kressh and renamed the three squadrons.
Nova squadron from House Primus Goluud was to be Emerald squadron. Denarii squadron from House Marka Ragnos was declared Diamond squadron. And Zealot squadron, the elite Sith of House Ludo Kressh, was to be Sapphire squadron.

The first year of the Squadron’s history was uneventful; Jedi Hunter Kanasu was the first to be named Commander of Sapphire. His command was short lived and Jedi Hunter [[Xander Drax]] was next in line. Commander Drax was one of Ludo Kressh’s finest pilots and helped form Sapphire into the Deep Strike squadron it is today. After a short time however, he was called away due to a civil war happening on his home planet. Sapphire was left commander less for some time until a young Dark Jedi Knight decided it was time for a change.

In May of the year 16 ABY Dark Jedi Knight Scithe was named commander of Sapphire. He took the position with great enthusiasm and began to mold the squadron into what it is today. Scithe created a structure for the squadron that it had never had before. He created Flights, assigned ships, created nicknames and mottos, and even formed his own merit system to award the pilots. Assigning Jedi Hunter’s Janos Silverwulf Sadow and CrimsonAngel to Flight Leaders he helped teach these young Dark Jedi so they could be future leaders of Naga Sadow. Commander Scithe did such a good job that when Aedile Darth Vexatus was promoted to Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh the only chose for the open Aedile position was Dark Jedi Knight Scithe.

===The Uncensored Time===

The next few years of Sapphire Squadron are looked upon highly to some while others like to push these years under the rug and forget about them. No matter what your opinions are of the events, the fact remains these things really did happen.

Next to be named Commander of Sapphire was a Flight Leader from Diamond Squadron named Robert Daragon. Commander Daragon quickly filled the open positions in the squadron with new members including Malik, Carl Lost, Karimicus, and Neo. These members, along with Flight Leaders Silverwulf and CrimsonAngel, would make sure House Ludo Kressh was never the same again.

Sapphire began to separate itself from Emerald and Diamond as the elite Sith of Ludo Kressh. The squadron led in the conflict with House Oriens Obscurum of Clan Arcona which resulted in a Ludo Kressh victory. Half of Ruby Squadron, the elite members of the house, was made up of Sapphire pilots. Not to mention the comradery that existed among the members of the squadron, it was truly the golden age of Sapphire, until a simple squadron mascot changed everything.

It started out as a simple joyride in one of Ruby squadron’s Phalanx Gunboats that lasted a little two long and ended up bringing back extra company. Commander Daragon “borrowed” CrimsonAngel’s gunboat and went on a gambling/drinking trip. Not remembering too much about the journey he was welcomed back by most of the Clan’s Summit. Upon his very noble attempt to explain where he was a passenger was noticed in the gunboat. It seemed the commander had won a seal in a sabacc game and it was to be the new mascot of Sapphire. That seals name was Fred.

That one event set of a chain reaction that made the other members of Ludo Kressh very afraid of any encounter with a member of Sapphire. CrimsonAngel began to have an obsession with vodka and hotpants. Neo, who would only answer to Eddie the Ewok, had the entire Kressh Fortress ventilation shafts mapped out and it was his only mode of transportation. Malik began planning to build a hut for himself on the moon of Ullyr. Carl Lost was continually confused by the new Sapphire Lost and Found department. Karimicus began to babble incoherently (although we think this just might have been normal for him). The rumors of the hookup between Commander Daragon and Fred were the hottest topic in Ludo Kressh. And the main objective for every member of Sapphire was to somehow annoy Quaestor Darth Vexatus.

Quaestor Darth Vexatus took most of the abuse from Sapphire squadron, from being nominated for Ms. EH to them cooking up and eating his pet vornskr. The Quaestor was the first suspected when Commander Daragon went missing. The first couple of weeks no one realized he was gone and he was prone to go a drinking binges. But after a month the rumors began to start, first it was the Quaestor had got tired and had him killed, and then it was a lover’s quarrel with Fred. Three months went by and no one knew the whereabouts of Robert Daragon. With a missing in action commander, Quaestor Vexatus was forced to find a new one and he didn’t have to look very far.

Longtime Sapphire member Jedi Hunter CrimsonAngel was appointed to replace the missing Robert Daragon. CrimsonAngel quickly named Neo as the new guardian of Fred the seal as he was still the prime suspect in the former commander’s disappearance. This decision would start to turn the members of Sapphire against each other.

The more time Neo and Fred spent together the closer they got and soon became a couple. However, little did Neo know that Fred was sneaking around behind his back with Janos Silverwulf. Janos soon became tired of being the “other women” and wanted Fred to dump Neo and marry him, but before Fred could decide his original master Robert Daragon returned from his leave of absence. When Neo found out that Fred had been cheating on him he was devastated and demanded that Fred choose once and for all who he was going to be with. Fred chose Neo.

Neo was so delighted he immediately asked Fred to marry him and Fred accepted. Robert Daragon couldn’t take the pain of not being chosen and left Sapphire to House Marka Ragnos. Janos Silverwulf began to drink himself into oblivion because of the rejection. The demise of Sapphire squadron had begun.

All of Clan Naga Sadow was eagerly anticipating the wedding of Neo and Fred. The invitations had gone out and the great hall of Sadow Palace was reserved. Neo had chosen CrimsonAngel as his best man while Fred had chosen Quaestor Vexatus as his bridesmaid. Robert Daragon, now a Krath Priest was to perform the ceremony. Everything was going great, than tragedy struck.

While Fred was trying on wedding dresses Consul Shan Long stormed into the room with a group of men with large guns and strange accents. Shan Long plucked Bob the goldfish out of his bowl and swallowed him in one gulp. With a snap of his fingers shots rang out and the smoking carcass of Fred fell to the floor. The Consul had all he could take of Fred the seal.

A full investigation was ordered by Commander CrimsonAngel on the death of their mascot, widower Neo was devastated at his loss. Upon investigation it turned out it was not Fred at all, but Janos Silverwulf in a seal costume and dress that was shot. Than a ransom note showed up at Kressh Fortress from Robert Daragon stating that if they ever wanted to see Fred again they would pay for his rather large bar tab he had accumulated. It appeared the entire Shan Long attack had been a cover for Daragon to kidnap Fred and take him to the planet Loki. Commander CrimsonAngel was furious and refused to pay the ransom, Sapphire would get Fred back and Robert Daragon would pay.

The members of Sapphire squadron teamed up with Emerald squadron, which now had former Sapphire pilot Malik as its commander, and headed towards the home of House Marka Ragnos on Loki. Successfully infiltrating the Cathedral the pilots all went their separate ways to locate their kidnapped friend. Sapphire pilot Abel Malik managed to urinate in the Cathedral’s water system while Neo and CrimsonAngel defeated Robert Daragon locking him up in pink furry handcuffs and rescuing Fred from the clutches of the Krath. Fred was back in Sapphire and together again with his true love Neo; the wedding would take place as planned. Robert Daragon was officially charged by the Quaestor Vexatus of seal abuse and was sentenced to ten days in a locked room with ten gungans.

The next few months saw lots of drinking, gambling, and one Ludo Kressh marriage. Commander CrimsonAngel decided he was bored and when a Sapphire commander is bored something happens to the Ludo Kressh Quaestor. CrimsonAngel stole the Quaestor’s personal shuttle, and decided Vexatus needed a wife. Upon CrimsonAngels return, he had a wife on board for the Quaestor and decided that he needed to make it all official, so he called up the one person he knew that would help out in this kind of
situation. Still wanting to get a little revenge for the seal abuse conviction, Robert Daragon was more than willing to assist the commander. Together they both set to work, preparing the Quaestor’s wedding ceremony. Flowers, Vodka, Cake, it was all ready to
be used in the celebration. While Quaestor Vexatus sleep, CrimsonAngel and Robert Daragon escorted the Quaestor’s new wife to his room. Laying his new wife next to him, they gathered all of House Ludo Kressh to witness the occasion. Every thing was ready, CrimsonAngel had the camera, and Krath Priest Robert Daragon spoke the final words as Vexatus awoke; "I now announce you Man and Hutt. You may now kiss the Hutt."

With one wedding out of the way the members of Sapphire eagerly awaited what would surely be the party of all parties; the Neo Fred wedding. Just weeks prior to the date, Neo was appointed the new Aedile of House Marka Ragnos along with the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Neo was ecstatic, not only was he getting married and a new position, but he would finally get to build his own lightsaber. However, before any of this could happen, tragedy struck. In September of the year 17 ABY, Dark Jedi Knight Neo in route to his new home in House Marka Ragnos was killed in a shuttle accident. The entire Clan mourned the loss of one of the truly remarkable members to ever grace its halls. Fred the seal went into recluse and the partying in Sapphire came to a halt, but after some time passed Commander CrimsonAngel regrouped Sapphire and they once again began to drink into stupors as the late Neo undoubtedly would have wanted it.

The next few months Sapphire squadron was busy with many operations. A Dark Brotherhood Vendetta, the Quest, took place; along with Operation Blackhammer and the Orbs of Power. Then, there was the Pregnancy Mystery League. Former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow Shan Long’s wife was pregnant and the entire clan wanted an explanation as it was obvious Shan Long could not be responsible for it. The members of Sapphire and Diamond squadrons united to find the answers to this mystery. They staked out the Dark Hall watching the Long’s quarters for weeks until at last they caught someone trying to sneak in. The intruder turned out to be Fred the seal. He had turned to the former Consul in his time of grief and revealed that he was the father of Shan Long’s baby. But that was only half of the story as it was not Shan Long’s wife who was impregnated but Shan Long himself. After the Shan Long event Fred the seal was sent back to Sapphire squadron and forbidden ever to set foot near the Dark Hall ever again by the Dark Council. Commander CrimsonAngel quickly appointed Abel Malik as the new guardian for Fred.

The next few months were anarchy as usual in House Ludo Kressh. Sapphire and Diamond squadrons squared off in the Kings of Tomorrow competition with Sapphire being victorious. Abel Malik proved to be no match for Fred and the seal caused numerous disruptions among House Ludo Kressh. And than Quaestor Darth Vexatus was promoted to the Clan Summit thus causing a leadership chain reaction in Ludo Kressh with Scithe becoming Quaestor and Commander CrimsonAngel becoming Aedile. There was only one logical choice to replace CrimsonAngel, a long long member of Sapphire; Janos Silverwulf Sadow.

===The Fourth Age of Sapphire===

Commander Silverwulf had lived through the times of glory and his reign as commander would be a difficult one. With most of his fellow pilots from the past moving on, CrimsonAngel as Aedile, Robert Daragon as commander of Diamond, DarkMage as commander of Emerald; Sapphire fell from its days of glory. The squadron was beaten in a rematch against Diamond squadron and than Abel Malik left Sapphire and Fred to join Darkmage in Emerald. And than House Ludo Kressh went silent, Robert Daragon was named the Quaestor of House Primus Goluud going with him were CrimsonAngel and Fred the seal to lead the new Dark Element battleteam. Darkmage and Abel Malik left the clan entirely leaving Commander Silverwulf and Carl Lost as the last remaining members of a lost era. Janos took the title as the Last Drunken Commander.

After over eight months of struggling to keep Sapphire alive while the likes of Emerald squadron got closed, Commander Silverwulf stepped down from his position but remained in Sapphire. Replacing him was an unfamiliar to Sapphire, Sith Warrior Crix Madine. Commander Madine would not even last two weeks in Sapphire before he left leaving Sapphire once again without a commander.

===The Return of Bob===

Returning from slumming it with the Obelisk of Naga Sadow, Robert Daragon once again took charge of Sapphire. Naming his old friends, Carl Lost and Janos Silverwulf as the Flight Leaders and returning Fred the seal to his rightful place as squadron mascot, the heart of Sapphire slowly began to beat once again.

With the strong leaders of Sapphire working together they quickly began to move in the right direction with the help of newer members Uther and Konus Auryus Sadou. A rematch was organized against Diamond squadron to avenge Sapphire’s last defeat and the squadron did just that by defeating their rival. Than a Great Jedi War broke out and Sapphire was called to active duty. However during the War, Quaestor Scithe resigned from his long reign as leader of Ludo Kressh and Commander Robert Daragon was called away to replace him. Taking over as commander of Sapphire was long time member Carl Lost.

Commander Lost’s reign was a short one as soon after he took command the great Exodus from the Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet took place. Carl Lost was a dedicated member of the Emperor’s Hammer Tie Corps and stayed behind with some members while other members of Sapphire packed up and left with Clan Naga Sadow to the Orian System.

===A New Era===

It took a month for Sapphire squadron to reorganize in the Orian system. Quaestor Malik, the new leader of House Ludo Kressh, appointed Konus Auryus Sadou as the new commander of Sapphire. Commander Sadou led through a very difficult time in the Sith Order. Many of the Sith remained behind in the Exodus leaving House Ludo Kressh with very little manpower. When Quaestor Malik was promoted to Proconsul and Commander Sadou resigned, newly appointed leader of Ludo Kressh Manesh Sadow was forced to close the squadron he had originally created. Sapphire Squadron was out of business. For nine months the Sapphire hangar remained empty, until in April of the year 21 ABY a familiar face returned to Ludo Kressh and brought with him the ways of old.

Robert Daragon returned to Ludo Kressh and found his old stomping grounds were all closed up, so with the permission of Quaestor Manesh he reopened the once mighty squadron. Commander Daragon’s first task was to get some members in the empty squadron, which he quickly did with the help of some old faces of Naga Sadow. Out of semi retirement came Jonuss Rai Sadow, Scithe, and Konus Sadou and together they helped the squadron slowly return to the ways of old. After a short time Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Primus Goluud and Konar Sadou took over for his second term as Commander of Sapphire.

Commander Sadou led the squadron through another Great Jedi War which Sapphire really didn’t have much of a factor in. To try to spark up moral, Konar assigned a new squadron mascot, Rory the blue kangaroo. But sadly after only two days Rory was killed in a tragic landspeeder accident. The death of Rory was very difficult for Commander Sadou and soon they grief was too much and he stepped down as commander. Taking his place in a game of musical chairs was once again Robert Daragon fresh off his time from leading the Obelisk of Naga Sadow.

The new Quaestor of Ludo Kressh, Jonuss Rai Sadow, put much more focus on the battleteams than his predecessor helping Sapphire regain its old prestige. New members began to join Sapphire and make instant impacts. One such individual was Macron Goura who in no time was awarded with a Flight Leader position. Sapphire helped the Clan in the next Krath of Supremacy even though it went against all of the instincts to take part in a Krath event. There were the usual Sapphire parties of legend, one that saw the demise of Steve the baboon but then the Coconut Monkey Revolt happened. When Quaestor Jonuss Rai decided to step down as leader of Ludo Kressh, his life partner named Coconut Monkey was not happy with the decision. He became irate and began to try to take total control over Ludo Kressh. If not for the brave heroics of Sapphire squadron he might have succeeded and the house would not be the same as it is today. For leading Sapphire in the house’s time of need, Consul Malik Sadow appointed Commander Robert Daragon the new Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh.

In the next week Quaestor Daragon made some small changes in Ludo Kressh. He closed down the inactive Diamond squadron and appointed Diamond’s commander, Erlandil Valenthort, as the new commander of Sapphire. The format of the battleteams in Ludo Kressh changed also as they were no longer multi-order and Sapphire was once again a Sith only squadron. The Clan Summit created the Khar Shian Task Force and House Ludo Kressh was to lead the navy portion of this. The members of Ludo Kressh left their meager home on Dentavii and took their places on various ships of Clan Naga Sadow. Sapphire squadron was assigned to the flagship of the fleet: Strike Cruiser Wandering Soul. Commander Valenthort spent most of his days of seeking adventure instead of leading the squadron, so after a few weeks Quaestor Daragon was forced to remove him as commander. It was a easy decision for whom should take the reigns as the next commander as a young Dark Jedi had proven himself time and time again that he had earned the chance to lead Sapphire, so Mononoke “Macron” Keibatsu-Goura was appointed the next commander of Sapphire.

Sapphire squadron continued to elevate among the elite of Naga Sadow with the guidance of Commander Macron. Former commander Konar returned and took the position of Flight Two Leader and together with Flight Three Leader Maximus Raidoner Mandalore the squadron took part in numerous operations. When the Aedile of Ludo Kressh stepped down, Quaestor Daragon appointed the proven Commander Macron to the position.

The next in line for the coveted position of Sapphire Commander was Revenant “Caligula” Mandalore. Commander Revenant led Sapphire through battle after battle including spearheading the attack on Korind, a small country on the sun side of Antei, which paved the way for the Grand Master’s invasion force. After a short time Revenant stepped down as Commander of Sapphire and the person to fill his position was to be decided after the True Brotherhood incident. Quaestor Xia Long watched to see how the members of Ludo Kressh handled the events looking for the leadership qualities it took to lead a battleteam. Draken-Korin “Ylith” Elariel Atema proved him self capable and was appointed Sapphire commander. Due to the True Brotherhood incident the Iron Fist brigade was closed and that left the house with only two battleteams. It was decided that the teams would once again be multi-order and Obelisk and Krath were allowed to be members of Sapphire squadron.

Commander Ylith continued the strong tradition of Sapphire and assisted Ludo Kressh in thrashing anyone who dared to face its wrath. During this time House Ludo Kressh began to make its new home on Aeotheran and Sapphire adapted to its new surroundings. Soon Ylith’s ability to lead got him noticed and he was appointed as Aedile of House Marka Ragnos.

===No Squadron for Old Men===

It took very little time of Quaestor Malisane to find a replacement because as soon as the job was vacant he had a smelly old drunk sitting in his office refusing to leave until the decision was official. After a week, which made the man even more smellier, Malisane appointed Robert Daragon commander of Sapphire Squadron.

Rejoining the squadron were the elite of the clan such as Malik Sadow, J'Rai Sadow, Xayun, and Macron. Combined with new members such as Davin Olar and Billy the fainting goat as the newly appointed mascot, Sapphire once again grew to be a force to be reckoned with.

With a full squadron, Commander Daragon decided he wanted a headquarters away from the watchful eye of the house summit. He found such a place in the western part of Seng Karash naming it [[Zafiro Torre]]. This four story building is a smaller replica of the former Kressh Fortress and to this day remains as the home of Sapphire.

After a short time Macron was promoted to Proconsul of the clan and Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Satal Keto and once again Sapphire was in search of a Commander.

===The Quiet Year===

The next year saw Commanders Corin Solander, Davin Olar, Aries Vorak, and Krath Priest Starlion lead the squadron through numerous battles and adventures. There was a Rite of Supremacy: [[Second Darkness]], an Assault on Jaginos, the [[Invasion of Orian]], and the [[Eighth Great Jedi War]]. Sapphire continued to help lead House Ludo Kressh through each battle and set an example to the other members of the house. It was a difficult time for Sapphire, but better times were on the way.

With Commander Starlion wishing to slide back among the members of the house, Sapphire needed a new leader. Proconsul Ashia kicked over the nearest rock and asked Robert Daragon to once again become a Commander of Sapphire Squadron…..and the drunk was once again in charge.

===Betrayal on Thor===

On a routine mission to the planet Thor in the Phare system, Sapphire Squadron was shook upside down. The members had walked into a trap that had been set in motion for years. Fred the Seal had revealed himself as a traitor to Naga Sadow working for the remnants of the Phare system.

Along with Walord Kwanda Rosman, the leaders of the Phare system wanted their revenge on Clan Naga Sadow for their abandonment. Equipped with the deadly Sadow Virus, Fred flew the Sapphire Star towards Sepros planning to release the virus during the clan conclave. The members of Sapphire on Thor had already been infected with the virus, including Commander Robert Daragon. The Commander had been given a deadly dose of the virus that would soon end the veteran’s life.

After finally getting the upper hand on Warlord Rosman, Commander Daragon took the former Imperial Admiral’s life and contacted his former friend trying to stop him from his mission. Fred laughed at his former master’s request, telling him this was his destiny. The seal than revealed that he was the one responsible for the disappearance of former Commander CrimsonAngel; a betrayal that Daragon could never forgive Fred for. So the Commander than entered in the override code for the Sapphire Star and set a course for Orian Minor. The former flagship of Sapphire squadron crashed into the second sun of the Orain system, thus taking with it the long time mascot; Fred the Seal.

Thanks to the resident alchemist of Sapphire, Macron Sadow, a vaccine was created to stop the effects of the Sadow Virus. While certain members of Sapphire still have some effects from the virus, including Commander Daragon who was given a deadly dose, no one was killed by the virus and it can no longer be used against the Clan.

== History ==

===The Beginning===

Shortly after the great House Naga Sadow became a clan in the year 15 ABY, Grand Master Justinian Arcanious Khyron declared all Houses in the Dark Brotherhood would be order specific. House Ludo Kressh was declared to be the home for the Sith of Naga Sadow.

All of the Sith from Primus Goluud and Marka Ragnos traveled to Ullyr to report for duty, including Nova and Denarii squadrons. Upon arrival, Quaestor Manesh Sadow announced the new squadron structure of Ludo Kressh and renamed the three squadrons.
Nova squadron from House Primus Goluud was to be Emerald squadron. Denarii squadron from House Marka Ragnos was declared Diamond squadron. And Zealot squadron, the elite Sith of House Ludo Kressh, was to be Sapphire squadron.

The first year of the squadron’s history was uneventful; Jedi Hunter Kanasu was the first to be named Commander of Sapphire. His command was short lived and Jedi Hunter [[Xander Drax]] was next in line. Commander Drax was one of Ludo Kressh’s finest pilots and helped form Sapphire into the Deep Strike squadron it is today. After a short time however, he was called away due to a civil war happening on his home planet. Sapphire was left commander less for some time until a young Dark Jedi Knight decided it was time for a change.

In May of the year 16 ABY Dark Jedi Knight Scithe was named commander of Sapphire. He took the position with great enthusiasm and began to mold the squadron into what it is today. Scithe created a structure for the squadron that it had never had before. He created Flights, assigned ships, created nicknames and mottos, and even formed his own merit system to award the pilots. Assigning Jedi Hunter’s Janos Silverwulf Sadow and CrimsonAngel to Flight Leaders he helped teach these young Dark Jedi so they could be future leaders of Naga Sadow. Commander Scithe did such a good job that when Aedile Darth Vexatus was promoted to Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh the only chose for the open Aedile position was Dark Jedi Knight Scithe.

===The Uncensored Time===

The next few years of Sapphire Squadron are looked upon highly to some while others like to push these years under the rug and forget about them. No matter what your opinions are of the events, the fact remains these things really did happen.

Next to be named Commander of Sapphire was a Flight Leader from Diamond Squadron named Robert Daragon. Commander Daragon quickly filled the open positions in the squadron with new members including Malik, Carl Lost, Karimicus, and Neo. These members, along with Flight Leaders Silverwulf and CrimsonAngel, would make sure House Ludo Kressh was never the same again.

Sapphire began to separate itself from Emerald and Diamond as the elite Sith of Ludo Kressh. The squadron led in the conflict with House Oriens Obscurum of Clan Arcona which resulted in a Ludo Kressh victory. Half of Ruby Squadron, the elite members of the house, was made up of Sapphire pilots. Not to mention the comradery that existed among the members of the squadron, it was truly the golden age of Sapphire, until a simple squadron mascot changed everything.

It started out as a simple joyride in one of Ruby squadron’s Phalanx Gunboats that lasted a little two long and ended up bringing back extra company. Commander Daragon “borrowed” CrimsonAngel’s gunboat and went on a gambling/drinking trip. Not remembering too much about the journey he was welcomed back by most of the Clan’s Summit. Upon his very noble attempt to explain where he was a passenger was noticed in the gunboat. It seemed the commander had won a seal in a sabacc game and it was to be the new mascot of Sapphire. That seals name was Fred.

That one event set of a chain reaction that made the other members of Ludo Kressh very afraid of any encounter with a member of Sapphire. CrimsonAngel began to have an obsession with vodka and hotpants. Neo, who would only answer to Eddie the Ewok, had the entire Kressh Fortress ventilation shafts mapped out and it was his only mode of transportation. Malik began planning to build a hut for himself on the moon of Ullyr. Carl Lost was continually confused by the new Sapphire Lost and Found department. Karimicus began to babble incoherently (although we think this just might have been normal for him). The rumors of the hookup between Commander Daragon and Fred were the hottest topic in Ludo Kressh. And the main objective for every member of Sapphire was to somehow annoy Quaestor Darth Vexatus.

Quaestor Darth Vexatus took most of the abuse from Sapphire squadron, from being nominated for Ms. EH to them cooking up and eating his pet vornskr. The Quaestor was the first suspected when Commander Daragon went missing. The first couple of weeks no one realized he was gone and he was prone to go a drinking binges. But after a month the rumors began to start, first it was the Quaestor had got tired and had him killed, and then it was a lover’s quarrel with Fred. Three months went by and no one knew the whereabouts of Robert Daragon. With a missing in action commander, Quaestor Vexatus was forced to find a new one and he didn’t have to look very far.

Longtime Sapphire member Jedi Hunter CrimsonAngel was appointed to replace the missing Robert Daragon. CrimsonAngel quickly named Neo as the new guardian of Fred the seal as he was still the prime suspect in the former commander’s disappearance. This decision would start to turn the members of Sapphire against each other.

The more time Neo and Fred spent together the closer they got and soon became a couple. However, little did Neo know that Fred was sneaking around behind his back with Janos Silverwulf. Janos soon became tired of being the “other women” and wanted Fred to dump Neo and marry him, but before Fred could decide his original master Robert Daragon returned from his leave of absence. When Neo found out that Fred had been cheating on him he was devastated and demanded that Fred choose once and for all who he was going to be with. Fred chose Neo.

Neo was so delighted he immediately asked Fred to marry him and Fred accepted. Robert Daragon couldn’t take the pain of not being chosen and left Sapphire to House Marka Ragnos. Janos Silverwulf began to drink himself into oblivion because of the rejection. The demise of Sapphire squadron had begun.

All of Clan Naga Sadow was eagerly anticipating the wedding of Neo and Fred. The invitations had gone out and the great hall of Sadow Palace was reserved. Neo had chosen CrimsonAngel as his best man while Fred had chosen Quaestor Vexatus as his bridesmaid. Robert Daragon, now a Krath Priest was to perform the ceremony. Everything was going great, than tragedy struck.

While Fred was trying on wedding dresses Consul Shan Long stormed into the room with a group of men with large guns and strange accents. Shan Long plucked Bob the goldfish out of his bowl and swallowed him in one gulp. With a snap of his fingers shots rang out and the smoking carcass of Fred fell to the floor. The Consul had all he could take of Fred the seal.

A full investigation was ordered by Commander CrimsonAngel on the death of their mascot, widower Neo was devastated at his loss. Upon investigation it turned out it was not Fred at all, but Janos Silverwulf in a seal costume and dress that was shot. Than a ransom note showed up at Kressh Fortress from Robert Daragon stating that if they ever wanted to see Fred again they would pay for his rather large bar tab he had accumulated. It appeared the entire Shan Long attack had been a cover for Daragon to kidnap Fred and take him to the planet Loki. Commander CrimsonAngel was furious and refused to pay the ransom, Sapphire would get Fred back and Robert Daragon would pay.

The members of Sapphire squadron teamed up with Emerald squadron, which now had former Sapphire pilot Malik as its commander, and headed towards the home of House Marka Ragnos on Loki. Successfully infiltrating the Cathedral the pilots all went their separate ways to locate their kidnapped friend. Sapphire pilot Abel Malik managed to urinate in the Cathedral’s water system while Neo and CrimsonAngel defeated Robert Daragon locking him up in pink furry handcuffs and rescuing Fred from the clutches of the Krath. Fred was back in Sapphire and together again with his true love Neo; the wedding would take place as planned. Robert Daragon was officially charged by the Quaestor Vexatus of seal abuse and was sentenced to ten days in a locked room with ten gungans.

The next few months saw lots of drinking, gambling, and one Ludo Kressh marriage. Commander CrimsonAngel decided he was bored and when a Sapphire commander is bored something happens to the Ludo Kressh Quaestor. CrimsonAngel stole the Quaestor’s personal shuttle, and decided Vexatus needed a wife. Upon CrimsonAngels return, he had a wife on board for the Quaestor and decided that he needed to make it all official, so he called up the one person he knew that would help out in this kind of
situation. Still wanting to get a little revenge for the seal abuse conviction, Robert Daragon was more than willing to assist the commander. Together they both set to work, preparing the Quaestor’s wedding ceremony. Flowers, Vodka, Cake, it was all ready to
be used in the celebration. While Quaestor Vexatus sleep, CrimsonAngel and Robert Daragon escorted the Quaestor’s new wife to his room. Laying his new wife next to him, they gathered all of House Ludo Kressh to witness the occasion. Every thing was ready, CrimsonAngel had the camera, and Krath Priest Robert Daragon spoke the final words as Vexatus awoke; "I now announce you Man and Hutt. You may now kiss the Hutt."

With one wedding out of the way the members of Sapphire eagerly awaited what would surely be the party of all parties; the Neo Fred wedding. Just weeks prior to the date, Neo was appointed the new Aedile of House Marka Ragnos along with the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Neo was ecstatic, not only was he getting married and a new position, but he would finally get to build his own lightsaber. However, before any of this could happen, tragedy struck. In September of the year 17 ABY, Dark Jedi Knight Neo in route to his new home in House Marka Ragnos was killed in a shuttle accident. The entire Clan mourned the loss of one of the truly remarkable members to ever grace its halls. Fred the seal went into recluse and the partying in Sapphire came to a halt, but after some time passed Commander CrimsonAngel regrouped Sapphire and they once again began to drink into stupors as the late Neo undoubtedly would have wanted it.

The next few months Sapphire squadron was busy with many operations. A Dark Brotherhood Vendetta, the Quest, took place; along with Operation Blackhammer and the Orbs of Power. Then, there was the Pregnancy Mystery League. Former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow Shan Long’s wife was pregnant and the entire clan wanted an explanation as it was obvious Shan Long could not be responsible for it. The members of Sapphire and Diamond squadrons united to find the answers to this mystery. They staked out the Dark Hall watching the Long’s quarters for weeks until at last they caught someone trying to sneak in. The intruder turned out to be Fred the seal. He had turned to the former Consul in his time of grief and revealed that he was the father of Shan Long’s baby. But that was only half of the story as it was not Shan Long’s wife who was impregnated but Shan Long himself. After the Shan Long event Fred the seal was sent back to Sapphire squadron and forbidden ever to set foot near the Dark Hall ever again by the Dark Council. Commander CrimsonAngel quickly appointed Abel Malik as the new guardian for Fred.

The next few months were anarchy as usual in House Ludo Kressh. Sapphire and Diamond squadrons squared off in the Kings of Tomorrow competition with Sapphire being victorious. Abel Malik proved to be no match for Fred and the seal caused numerous disruptions among House Ludo Kressh. And than Quaestor Darth Vexatus was promoted to the Clan Summit thus causing a leadership chain reaction in Ludo Kressh with Scithe becoming Quaestor and Commander CrimsonAngel becoming Aedile. There was only one logical choice to replace CrimsonAngel, a long long member of Sapphire; Janos Silverwulf Sadow.

===The Fourth Age of Sapphire===

Commander Silverwulf had lived through the times of glory and his reign as commander would be a difficult one. With most of his fellow pilots from the past moving on, CrimsonAngel as Aedile, Robert Daragon as commander of Diamond, DarkMage as commander of Emerald; Sapphire fell from its days of glory. The squadron was beaten in a rematch against Diamond squadron and than Abel Malik left Sapphire and Fred to join Darkmage in Emerald. And than House Ludo Kressh went silent, Robert Daragon was named the Quaestor of House Primus Goluud going with him were CrimsonAngel and Fred the seal to lead the new Dark Element battleteam. Darkmage and Abel Malik left the clan entirely leaving Commander Silverwulf and Carl Lost as the last remaining members of a lost era. Janos took the title as the Last Drunken Commander.

After over eight months of struggling to keep Sapphire alive while the likes of Emerald squadron got closed, Commander Silverwulf stepped down from his position but remained in Sapphire. Replacing him was an unfamiliar to Sapphire, Sith Warrior Crix Madine. Commander Madine would not even last two weeks in Sapphire before he left leaving Sapphire once again without a commander.

===The Return of Bob===

Returning from slumming it with the Obelisk of Naga Sadow, Robert Daragon once again took charge of Sapphire. Naming his old friends, Carl Lost and Janos Silverwulf as the Flight Leaders and returning Fred the seal to his rightful place as squadron mascot, the heart of Sapphire slowly began to beat once again.

With the strong leaders of Sapphire working together they quickly began to move in the right direction with the help of newer members Uther and Konus Auryus Sadou. A rematch was organized against Diamond squadron to avenge Sapphire’s last defeat and the squadron did just that by defeating their rival. Than a Great Jedi War broke out and Sapphire was called to active duty. However during the War, Quaestor Scithe resigned from his long reign as leader of Ludo Kressh and Commander Robert Daragon was called away to replace him. Taking over as commander of Sapphire was long time member Carl Lost.

Commander Lost’s reign was a short one as soon after he took command the great Exodus from the Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet took place. Carl Lost was a dedicated member of the Emperor’s Hammer Tie Corps and stayed behind with some members while other members of Sapphire packed up and left with Clan Naga Sadow to the Orian System.

===A New Era===

It took a month for Sapphire squadron to reorganize in the Orian system. Quaestor Malik, the new leader of House Ludo Kressh, appointed Konus Auryus Sadou as the new commander of Sapphire. Commander Sadou led through a very difficult time in the Sith Order. Many of the Sith remained behind in the Exodus leaving House Ludo Kressh with very little manpower. When Quaestor Malik was promoted to Proconsul and Commander Sadou resigned, newly appointed leader of Ludo Kressh Manesh Sadow was forced to close the squadron he had originally created. Sapphire Squadron was out of business. For nine months the Sapphire hangar remained empty, until in April of the year 21 ABY a familiar face returned to Ludo Kressh and brought with him the ways of old.

Robert Daragon returned to Ludo Kressh and found his old stomping grounds were all closed up, so with the permission of Quaestor Manesh he reopened the once mighty squadron. Commander Daragon’s first task was to get some members in the empty squadron, which he quickly did with the help of some old faces of Naga Sadow. Out of semi retirement came Jonuss Rai Sadow, Scithe, and Konus Sadou and together they helped the squadron slowly return to the ways of old. After a short time Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Primus Goluud and Konar Sadou took over for his second term as Commander of Sapphire.

Commander Sadou led the squadron through another Great Jedi War which Sapphire really didn’t have much of a factor in. To try to spark up moral, Konar assigned a new squadron mascot, Rory the blue kangaroo. But sadly after only two days Rory was killed in a tragic landspeeder accident. The death of Rory was very difficult for Commander Sadou and soon they grief was too much and he stepped down as commander. Taking his place in a game of musical chairs was once again Robert Daragon fresh off his time from leading the Obelisk of Naga Sadow.

The new Quaestor of Ludo Kressh, Jonuss Rai Sadow, put much more focus on the battleteams than his predecessor helping Sapphire regain its old prestige. New members began to join Sapphire and make instant impacts. One such individual was Macron Goura who in no time was awarded with a Flight Leader position. Sapphire helped the Clan in the next Krath of Supremacy even though it went against all of the instincts to take part in a Krath event. There were the usual Sapphire parties of legend, one that saw the demise of Steve the baboon but then the Coconut Monkey Revolt happened. When Quaestor Jonuss Rai decided to step down as leader of Ludo Kressh, his life partner named Coconut Monkey was not happy with the decision. He became irate and began to try to take total control over Ludo Kressh. If not for the brave heroics of Sapphire squadron he might have succeeded and the house would not be the same as it is today. For leading Sapphire in the house’s time of need, Consul Malik Sadow appointed Commander Robert Daragon the new Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh.

In the next week Quaestor Daragon made some small changes in Ludo Kressh. He closed down the inactive Diamond squadron and appointed Diamond’s commander, Erlandil Valenthort, as the new commander of Sapphire. The format of the battleteams in Ludo Kressh changed also as they were no longer multi-order and Sapphire was once again a Sith only squadron. The Clan Summit created the Khar Shian Task Force and House Ludo Kressh was to lead the navy portion of this. The members of Ludo Kressh left their meager home on Dentavii and took their places on various ships of Clan Naga Sadow. Sapphire squadron was assigned to the flagship of the fleet: Strike Cruiser Wandering Soul. Commander Valenthort spent most of his days of seeking adventure instead of leading the squadron, so after a few weeks Quaestor Daragon was forced to remove him as commander. It was a easy decision for whom should take the reigns as the next commander as a young Dark Jedi had proven himself time and time again that he had earned the chance to lead Sapphire, so Mononoke “Macron” Keibatsu-Goura was appointed the next commander of Sapphire.

Sapphire squadron continued to elevate among the elite of Naga Sadow with the guidance of Commander Macron. Former commander Konar returned and took the position of Flight Two Leader and together with Flight Three Leader Maximus Raidoner Mandalore the squadron took part in numerous operations. When the Aedile of Ludo Kressh stepped down, Quaestor Daragon appointed the proven Commander Macron to the position.

The next in line for the coveted position of Sapphire Commander was Revenant “Caligula” Mandalore. Commander Revenant led Sapphire through battle after battle including spearheading the attack on Korind, a small country on the sun side of Antei, which paved the way for the Grand Master’s invasion force. After a short time Revenant stepped down as Commander of Sapphire and the person to fill his position was to be decided after the True Brotherhood incident. Quaestor Xia Long watched to see how the members of Ludo Kressh handled the events looking for the leadership qualities it took to lead a battleteam. Draken-Korin “Ylith” Elariel Atema proved him self capable and was appointed Sapphire commander. Due to the True Brotherhood incident the Iron Fist brigade was closed and that left the house with only two battleteams. It was decided that the teams would once again be multi-order and Obelisk and Krath were allowed to be members of Sapphire squadron.

Commander Ylith continued the strong tradition of Sapphire and assisted Ludo Kressh in thrashing anyone who dared to face its wrath. During this time House Ludo Kressh began to make its new home on Aeotheran and Sapphire adapted to its new surroundings. Soon Ylith’s ability to lead got him noticed and he was appointed as Aedile of House Marka Ragnos.

===No Squadron for Old Men===

It took very little time of Quaestor Malisane to find a replacement because as soon as the job was vacant he had a smelly old drunk sitting in his office refusing to leave until the decision was official. After a week, which made the man even more smellier, Malisane appointed Robert Daragon commander of Sapphire Squadron.

Rejoining the squadron were the elite of the clan such as Malik Sadow, J'Rai Sadow, Xayun, and Macron. Combined with new members such as Davin Olar and Billy the fainting goat as the newly appointed mascot, Sapphire once again grew to be a force to be reckoned with.

With a full squadron, Commander Daragon decided he wanted a headquarters away from the watchful eye of the house summit. He found such a place in the western part of Seng Karash naming it [[Zafiro Torre]]. This four story building is a smaller replica of the former Kressh Fortress and to this day remains as the home of Sapphire.

After a short time Macron was promoted to Proconsul of the clan and Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Satal Keto and once again Sapphire was in search of a Commander.

===The Quiet Year===

The next year saw Commanders Corin Solander, Davin Olar, Aries Vorak, and Krath Priest Starlion lead the squadron through numerous battles and adventures. There was a Rite of Supremacy: [[Second Darkness]], an Assault on Jaginos, the [[Invasion of Orian]], and the [[Eighth Great Jedi War]]. Sapphire continued to help lead House Ludo Kressh through each battle and set an example to the other members of the house. It was a difficult time for Sapphire, but better times were on the way.

With Commander Starlion wishing to slide back among the members of the house, Sapphire needed a new leader. Proconsul Ashia kicked over the nearest rock and asked Robert Daragon to once again become a Commander of Sapphire Squadron…..and the drunk was once again in charge.

===Betrayal on Thor===

On a routine mission to the planet Thor in the Phare system, Sapphire Squadron was shook upside down. The members had walked into a trap that had been set in motion for years. Fred the Seal had revealed himself as a traitor to Naga Sadow working for the remnants of the Phare system.

Along with Walord Kwanda Rosman, the leaders of the Phare system wanted their revenge on Clan Naga Sadow for their abandonment. Equipped with the deadly Sadow Virus, Fred flew the Sapphire Star towards Sepros planning to release the virus during the clan conclave. The members of Sapphire on Thor had already been infected with the virus, including Commander Robert Daragon. The Commander had been given a deadly dose of the virus that would soon end the veteran’s life.

After finally getting the upper hand on Warlord Rosman, Commander Daragon took the former Imperial Admiral’s life and contacted his former friend trying to stop him from his mission. Fred laughed at his former master’s request, telling him this was his destiny. The seal than revealed that he was the one responsible for the disappearance of former Commander CrimsonAngel; a betrayal that Daragon could never forgive Fred for. So the Commander than entered in the override code for the Sapphire Star and set a course for Orian Minor. The former flagship of Sapphire squadron crashed into the second sun of the Orain system, thus taking with it the long time mascot; Fred the Seal.

Thanks to the resident alchemist of Sapphire, Macron Sadow, a vaccine was created to stop the effects of the Sadow Virus. While certain members of Sapphire still have some effects from the virus, including Commander Daragon who was given a deadly dose, no one was killed by the virus and it can no longer be used against the Clan.

== History ==

===The Beginning===

Shortly after the great House Naga Sadow became a clan in the year 15 ABY, Grand Master Justinian Arcanious Khyron declared all Houses in the Dark Brotherhood would be order specific. House Ludo Kressh was declared to be the home for the Sith of Naga Sadow.

All of the Sith from Primus Goluud and Marka Ragnos traveled to Ullyr to report for duty, including Nova and Denarii squadrons. Upon arrival, Quaestor Manesh Sadow announced the new squadron structure of Ludo Kressh and renamed the three squadrons.
Nova squadron from House Primus Goluud was to be Emerald squadron. Denarii squadron from House Marka Ragnos was declared Diamond squadron. And Zealot squadron, the elite Sith of House Ludo Kressh, was to be Sapphire squadron.

The first year of the squadron’s history was uneventful; Jedi Hunter Kanasu was the first to be named Commander of Sapphire. His command was short lived and Jedi Hunter [[Xander Drax]] was next in line. Commander Drax was one of Ludo Kressh’s finest pilots and helped form Sapphire into the Deep Strike squadron it is today. After a short time however, he was called away due to a civil war happening on his home planet. Sapphire was left commander less for some time until a young Dark Jedi Knight decided it was time for a change.

In May of the year 16 ABY Dark Jedi Knight Scithe was named commander of Sapphire. He took the position with great enthusiasm and began to mold the squadron into what it is today. Scithe created a structure for the squadron that it had never had before. He created Flights, assigned ships, created nicknames and mottos, and even formed his own merit system to award the pilots. Assigning Jedi Hunter’s Janos Silverwulf Sadow and CrimsonAngel to Flight Leaders he helped teach these young Dark Jedi so they could be future leaders of Naga Sadow. Commander Scithe did such a good job that when Aedile Darth Vexatus was promoted to Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh the only chose for the open Aedile position was Dark Jedi Knight Scithe.

===The Uncensored Time===

The next few years of Sapphire Squadron are looked upon highly to some while others like to push these years under the rug and forget about them. No matter what your opinions are of the events, the fact remains these things really did happen.

Next to be named Commander of Sapphire was a Flight Leader from Diamond Squadron named Robert Daragon. Commander Daragon quickly filled the open positions in the squadron with new members including Malik, Carl Lost, Karimicus, and Neo. These members, along with Flight Leaders Silverwulf and CrimsonAngel, would make sure House Ludo Kressh was never the same again.

Sapphire began to separate itself from Emerald and Diamond as the elite Sith of Ludo Kressh. The squadron led in the conflict with House Oriens Obscurum of Clan Arcona which resulted in a Ludo Kressh victory. Half of Ruby Squadron, the elite members of the house, was made up of Sapphire pilots. Not to mention the comradery that existed among the members of the squadron, it was truly the golden age of Sapphire, until a simple squadron mascot changed everything.

It started out as a simple joyride in one of Ruby squadron’s Phalanx Gunboats that lasted a little two long and ended up bringing back extra company. Commander Daragon “borrowed” CrimsonAngel’s gunboat and went on a gambling/drinking trip. Not remembering too much about the journey he was welcomed back by most of the Clan’s Summit. Upon his very noble attempt to explain where he was a passenger was noticed in the gunboat. It seemed the commander had won a seal in a sabacc game and it was to be the new mascot of Sapphire. That seals name was Fred.

That one event set of a chain reaction that made the other members of Ludo Kressh very afraid of any encounter with a member of Sapphire. CrimsonAngel began to have an obsession with vodka and hotpants. Neo, who would only answer to Eddie the Ewok, had the entire Kressh Fortress ventilation shafts mapped out and it was his only mode of transportation. Malik began planning to build a hut for himself on the moon of Ullyr. Carl Lost was continually confused by the new Sapphire Lost and Found department. Karimicus began to babble incoherently (although we think this just might have been normal for him). The rumors of the hookup between Commander Daragon and Fred were the hottest topic in Ludo Kressh. And the main objective for every member of Sapphire was to somehow annoy Quaestor Darth Vexatus.

Quaestor Darth Vexatus took most of the abuse from Sapphire squadron, from being nominated for Ms. EH to them cooking up and eating his pet vornskr. The Quaestor was the first suspected when Commander Daragon went missing. The first couple of weeks no one realized he was gone and he was prone to go a drinking binges. But after a month the rumors began to start, first it was the Quaestor had got tired and had him killed, and then it was a lover’s quarrel with Fred. Three months went by and no one knew the whereabouts of Robert Daragon. With a missing in action commander, Quaestor Vexatus was forced to find a new one and he didn’t have to look very far.

Longtime Sapphire member Jedi Hunter CrimsonAngel was appointed to replace the missing Robert Daragon. CrimsonAngel quickly named Neo as the new guardian of Fred the seal as he was still the prime suspect in the former commander’s disappearance. This decision would start to turn the members of Sapphire against each other.

The more time Neo and Fred spent together the closer they got and soon became a couple. However, little did Neo know that Fred was sneaking around behind his back with Janos Silverwulf. Janos soon became tired of being the “other women” and wanted Fred to dump Neo and marry him, but before Fred could decide his original master Robert Daragon returned from his leave of absence. When Neo found out that Fred had been cheating on him he was devastated and demanded that Fred choose once and for all who he was going to be with. Fred chose Neo.

Neo was so delighted he immediately asked Fred to marry him and Fred accepted. Robert Daragon couldn’t take the pain of not being chosen and left Sapphire to House Marka Ragnos. Janos Silverwulf began to drink himself into oblivion because of the rejection. The demise of Sapphire squadron had begun.

All of Clan Naga Sadow was eagerly anticipating the wedding of Neo and Fred. The invitations had gone out and the great hall of Sadow Palace was reserved. Neo had chosen CrimsonAngel as his best man while Fred had chosen Quaestor Vexatus as his bridesmaid. Robert Daragon, now a Krath Priest was to perform the ceremony. Everything was going great, than tragedy struck.

While Fred was trying on wedding dresses Consul Shan Long stormed into the room with a group of men with large guns and strange accents. Shan Long plucked Bob the goldfish out of his bowl and swallowed him in one gulp. With a snap of his fingers shots rang out and the smoking carcass of Fred fell to the floor. The Consul had all he could take of Fred the seal.

A full investigation was ordered by Commander CrimsonAngel on the death of their mascot, widower Neo was devastated at his loss. Upon investigation it turned out it was not Fred at all, but Janos Silverwulf in a seal costume and dress that was shot. Than a ransom note showed up at Kressh Fortress from Robert Daragon stating that if they ever wanted to see Fred again they would pay for his rather large bar tab he had accumulated. It appeared the entire Shan Long attack had been a cover for Daragon to kidnap Fred and take him to the planet Loki. Commander CrimsonAngel was furious and refused to pay the ransom, Sapphire would get Fred back and Robert Daragon would pay.

The members of Sapphire squadron teamed up with Emerald squadron, which now had former Sapphire pilot Malik as its commander, and headed towards the home of House Marka Ragnos on Loki. Successfully infiltrating the Cathedral the pilots all went their separate ways to locate their kidnapped friend. Sapphire pilot Abel Malik managed to urinate in the Cathedral’s water system while Neo and CrimsonAngel defeated Robert Daragon locking him up in pink furry handcuffs and rescuing Fred from the clutches of the Krath. Fred was back in Sapphire and together again with his true love Neo; the wedding would take place as planned. Robert Daragon was officially charged by the Quaestor Vexatus of seal abuse and was sentenced to ten days in a locked room with ten gungans.

The next few months saw lots of drinking, gambling, and one Ludo Kressh marriage. Commander CrimsonAngel decided he was bored and when a Sapphire commander is bored something happens to the Ludo Kressh Quaestor. CrimsonAngel stole the Quaestor’s personal shuttle, and decided Vexatus needed a wife. Upon CrimsonAngels return, he had a wife on board for the Quaestor and decided that he needed to make it all official, so he called up the one person he knew that would help out in this kind of
situation. Still wanting to get a little revenge for the seal abuse conviction, Robert Daragon was more than willing to assist the commander. Together they both set to work, preparing the Quaestor’s wedding ceremony. Flowers, Vodka, Cake, it was all ready to
be used in the celebration. While Quaestor Vexatus sleep, CrimsonAngel and Robert Daragon escorted the Quaestor’s new wife to his room. Laying his new wife next to him, they gathered all of House Ludo Kressh to witness the occasion. Every thing was ready, CrimsonAngel had the camera, and Krath Priest Robert Daragon spoke the final words as Vexatus awoke; "I now announce you Man and Hutt. You may now kiss the Hutt."

With one wedding out of the way the members of Sapphire eagerly awaited what would surely be the party of all parties; the Neo Fred wedding. Just weeks prior to the date, Neo was appointed the new Aedile of House Marka Ragnos along with the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Neo was ecstatic, not only was he getting married and a new position, but he would finally get to build his own lightsaber. However, before any of this could happen, tragedy struck. In September of the year 17 ABY, Dark Jedi Knight Neo in route to his new home in House Marka Ragnos was killed in a shuttle accident. The entire Clan mourned the loss of one of the truly remarkable members to ever grace its halls. Fred the seal went into recluse and the partying in Sapphire came to a halt, but after some time passed Commander CrimsonAngel regrouped Sapphire and they once again began to drink into stupors as the late Neo undoubtedly would have wanted it.

The next few months Sapphire squadron was busy with many operations. A Dark Brotherhood Vendetta, the Quest, took place; along with Operation Blackhammer and the Orbs of Power. Then, there was the Pregnancy Mystery League. Former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow Shan Long’s wife was pregnant and the entire clan wanted an explanation as it was obvious Shan Long could not be responsible for it. The members of Sapphire and Diamond squadrons united to find the answers to this mystery. They staked out the Dark Hall watching the Long’s quarters for weeks until at last they caught someone trying to sneak in. The intruder turned out to be Fred the seal. He had turned to the former Consul in his time of grief and revealed that he was the father of Shan Long’s baby. But that was only half of the story as it was not Shan Long’s wife who was impregnated but Shan Long himself. After the Shan Long event Fred the seal was sent back to Sapphire squadron and forbidden ever to set foot near the Dark Hall ever again by the Dark Council. Commander CrimsonAngel quickly appointed Abel Malik as the new guardian for Fred.

The next few months were anarchy as usual in House Ludo Kressh. Sapphire and Diamond squadrons squared off in the Kings of Tomorrow competition with Sapphire being victorious. Abel Malik proved to be no match for Fred and the seal caused numerous disruptions among House Ludo Kressh. And than Quaestor Darth Vexatus was promoted to the Clan Summit thus causing a leadership chain reaction in Ludo Kressh with Scithe becoming Quaestor and Commander CrimsonAngel becoming Aedile. There was only one logical choice to replace CrimsonAngel, a long long member of Sapphire; Janos Silverwulf Sadow.

===The Fourth Age of Sapphire===

Commander Silverwulf had lived through the times of glory and his reign as commander would be a difficult one. With most of his fellow pilots from the past moving on, CrimsonAngel as Aedile, Robert Daragon as commander of Diamond, DarkMage as commander of Emerald; Sapphire fell from its days of glory. The squadron was beaten in a rematch against Diamond squadron and than Abel Malik left Sapphire and Fred to join Darkmage in Emerald. And than House Ludo Kressh went silent, Robert Daragon was named the Quaestor of House Primus Goluud going with him were CrimsonAngel and Fred the seal to lead the new Dark Element battleteam. Darkmage and Abel Malik left the clan entirely leaving Commander Silverwulf and Carl Lost as the last remaining members of a lost era. Janos took the title as the Last Drunken Commander.

After over eight months of struggling to keep Sapphire alive while the likes of Emerald squadron got closed, Commander Silverwulf stepped down from his position but remained in Sapphire. Replacing him was an unfamiliar to Sapphire, Sith Warrior Crix Madine. Commander Madine would not even last two weeks in Sapphire before he left leaving Sapphire once again without a commander.

===The Return of Bob===

Returning from slumming it with the Obelisk of Naga Sadow, Robert Daragon once again took charge of Sapphire. Naming his old friends, Carl Lost and Janos Silverwulf as the Flight Leaders and returning Fred the seal to his rightful place as squadron mascot, the heart of Sapphire slowly began to beat once again.

With the strong leaders of Sapphire working together they quickly began to move in the right direction with the help of newer members Uther and Konus Auryus Sadou. A rematch was organized against Diamond squadron to avenge Sapphire’s last defeat and the squadron did just that by defeating their rival. Than a Great Jedi War broke out and Sapphire was called to active duty. However during the War, Quaestor Scithe resigned from his long reign as leader of Ludo Kressh and Commander Robert Daragon was called away to replace him. Taking over as commander of Sapphire was long time member Carl Lost.

Commander Lost’s reign was a short one as soon after he took command the great Exodus from the Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet took place. Carl Lost was a dedicated member of the Emperor’s Hammer Tie Corps and stayed behind with some members while other members of Sapphire packed up and left with Clan Naga Sadow to the Orian System.

===A New Era===

It took a month for Sapphire squadron to reorganize in the Orian system. Quaestor Malik, the new leader of House Ludo Kressh, appointed Konus Auryus Sadou as the new commander of Sapphire. Commander Sadou led through a very difficult time in the Sith Order. Many of the Sith remained behind in the Exodus leaving House Ludo Kressh with very little manpower. When Quaestor Malik was promoted to Proconsul and Commander Sadou resigned, newly appointed leader of Ludo Kressh Manesh Sadow was forced to close the squadron he had originally created. Sapphire Squadron was out of business. For nine months the Sapphire hangar remained empty, until in April of the year 21 ABY a familiar face returned to Ludo Kressh and brought with him the ways of old.

Robert Daragon returned to Ludo Kressh and found his old stomping grounds were all closed up, so with the permission of Quaestor Manesh he reopened the once mighty squadron. Commander Daragon’s first task was to get some members in the empty squadron, which he quickly did with the help of some old faces of Naga Sadow. Out of semi retirement came Jonuss Rai Sadow, Scithe, and Konus Sadou and together they helped the squadron slowly return to the ways of old. After a short time Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Primus Goluud and Konar Sadou took over for his second term as Commander of Sapphire.

Commander Sadou led the squadron through another Great Jedi War which Sapphire really didn’t have much of a factor in. To try to spark up moral, Konar assigned a new squadron mascot, Rory the blue kangaroo. But sadly after only two days Rory was killed in a tragic landspeeder accident. The death of Rory was very difficult for Commander Sadou and soon they grief was too much and he stepped down as commander. Taking his place in a game of musical chairs was once again Robert Daragon fresh off his time from leading the Obelisk of Naga Sadow.

The new Quaestor of Ludo Kressh, Jonuss Rai Sadow, put much more focus on the battleteams than his predecessor helping Sapphire regain its old prestige. New members began to join Sapphire and make instant impacts. One such individual was Macron Goura who in no time was awarded with a Flight Leader position. Sapphire helped the Clan in the next Krath of Supremacy even though it went against all of the instincts to take part in a Krath event. There were the usual Sapphire parties of legend, one that saw the demise of Steve the baboon but then the Coconut Monkey Revolt happened. When Quaestor Jonuss Rai decided to step down as leader of Ludo Kressh, his life partner named Coconut Monkey was not happy with the decision. He became irate and began to try to take total control over Ludo Kressh. If not for the brave heroics of Sapphire squadron he might have succeeded and the house would not be the same as it is today. For leading Sapphire in the house’s time of need, Consul Malik Sadow appointed Commander Robert Daragon the new Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh.

In the next week Quaestor Daragon made some small changes in Ludo Kressh. He closed down the inactive Diamond squadron and appointed Diamond’s commander, Erlandil Valenthort, as the new commander of Sapphire. The format of the battleteams in Ludo Kressh changed also as they were no longer multi-order and Sapphire was once again a Sith only squadron. The Clan Summit created the Khar Shian Task Force and House Ludo Kressh was to lead the navy portion of this. The members of Ludo Kressh left their meager home on Dentavii and took their places on various ships of Clan Naga Sadow. Sapphire squadron was assigned to the flagship of the fleet: Strike Cruiser Wandering Soul. Commander Valenthort spent most of his days of seeking adventure instead of leading the squadron, so after a few weeks Quaestor Daragon was forced to remove him as commander. It was a easy decision for whom should take the reigns as the next commander as a young Dark Jedi had proven himself time and time again that he had earned the chance to lead Sapphire, so Mononoke “Macron” Keibatsu-Goura was appointed the next commander of Sapphire.

Sapphire squadron continued to elevate among the elite of Naga Sadow with the guidance of Commander Macron. Former commander Konar returned and took the position of Flight Two Leader and together with Flight Three Leader Maximus Raidoner Mandalore the squadron took part in numerous operations. When the Aedile of Ludo Kressh stepped down, Quaestor Daragon appointed the proven Commander Macron to the position.

The next in line for the coveted position of Sapphire Commander was Revenant “Caligula” Mandalore. Commander Revenant led Sapphire through battle after battle including spearheading the attack on Korind, a small country on the sun side of Antei, which paved the way for the Grand Master’s invasion force. After a short time Revenant stepped down as Commander of Sapphire and the person to fill his position was to be decided after the True Brotherhood incident. Quaestor Xia Long watched to see how the members of Ludo Kressh handled the events looking for the leadership qualities it took to lead a battleteam. Draken-Korin “Ylith” Elariel Atema proved him self capable and was appointed Sapphire commander. Due to the True Brotherhood incident the Iron Fist brigade was closed and that left the house with only two battleteams. It was decided that the teams would once again be multi-order and Obelisk and Krath were allowed to be members of Sapphire squadron.

Commander Ylith continued the strong tradition of Sapphire and assisted Ludo Kressh in thrashing anyone who dared to face its wrath. During this time House Ludo Kressh began to make its new home on Aeotheran and Sapphire adapted to its new surroundings. Soon Ylith’s ability to lead got him noticed and he was appointed as Aedile of House Marka Ragnos.

===No Squadron for Old Men===

It took very little time of Quaestor Malisane to find a replacement because as soon as the job was vacant he had a smelly old drunk sitting in his office refusing to leave until the decision was official. After a week, which made the man even more smellier, Malisane appointed Robert Daragon commander of Sapphire Squadron.

Rejoining the squadron were the elite of the clan such as Malik Sadow, J'Rai Sadow, Xayun, and Macron. Combined with new members such as Davin Olar and Billy the fainting goat as the newly appointed mascot, Sapphire once again grew to be a force to be reckoned with.

With a full squadron, Commander Daragon decided he wanted a headquarters away from the watchful eye of the house summit. He found such a place in the western part of Seng Karash naming it [[Zafiro Torre]]. This four story building is a smaller replica of the former Kressh Fortress and to this day remains as the home of Sapphire.

After a short time Macron was promoted to Proconsul of the clan and Commander Daragon was promoted to Quaestor of House Satal Keto and once again Sapphire was in search of a Commander.

===The Quiet Year===

The next year saw Commanders Corin Solander, Davin Olar, Aries Vorak, and Krath Priest Starlion lead the squadron through numerous battles and adventures. There was a Rite of Supremacy: [[Second Darkness]], an Assault on Jaginos, the [[Invasion of Orian]], and the [[Eighth Great Jedi War]]. Sapphire continued to help lead House Ludo Kressh through each battle and set an example to the other members of the house. It was a difficult time for Sapphire, but better times were on the way.

With Commander Starlion wishing to slide back among the members of the house, Sapphire needed a new leader. Proconsul Ashia kicked over the nearest rock and asked Robert Daragon to once again become a Commander of Sapphire Squadron…..and the drunk was once again in charge.

===Betrayal on Thor===

On a routine mission to the planet Thor in the Phare system, Sapphire Squadron was shook upside down. The members had walked into a trap that had been set in motion for years. Fred the Seal had revealed himself as a traitor to Naga Sadow working for the remnants of the Phare system.

Along with Walord Kwanda Rosman, the leaders of the Phare system wanted their revenge on Clan Naga Sadow for their abandonment. Equipped with the deadly Sadow Virus, Fred flew the Sapphire Star towards Sepros planning to release the virus during the clan conclave. The members of Sapphire on Thor had already been infected with the virus, including Commander Robert Daragon. The Commander had been given a deadly dose of the virus that would soon end the veteran’s life.

After finally getting the upper hand on Warlord Rosman, Commander Daragon took the former Imperial Admiral’s life and contacted his former friend trying to stop him from his mission. Fred laughed at his former master’s request, telling him this was his destiny. The seal than revealed that he was the one responsible for the disappearance of former Commander CrimsonAngel; a betrayal that Daragon could never forgive Fred for. So the Commander than entered in the override code for the Sapphire Star and set a course for Orian Minor. The former flagship of Sapphire squadron crashed into the second sun of the Orain system, thus taking with it the long time mascot; Fred the Seal.

Thanks to the resident alchemist of Sapphire, Macron Sadow, a vaccine was created to stop the effects of the Sadow Virus. While certain members of Sapphire still have some effects from the virus, including Commander Daragon who was given a deadly dose, no one was killed by the virus and it can no longer be used against the Clan.

==The Breakdown==

Coronada Station, named for Arcona's ancestral home in the Eos system, is a testament to the independence and determination of the d'Tana family's operations. The Station is a fully functioning space port and market, located in deep space in the Charros IV system. Housing an open air market, luxury hotels and dining establishments, the station is used as an effective front and operations center. Used as either a checkpoint through the stars for traders, or as a growing spot for entertainment with the most likely illegal fight arena within the lower levels, side by side with what are arguably black market merchants, Coronada station has quickly gained a reputation among the less reputable folk of the galaxy.

Laying outside Republic space, Coronada station is not held by it's stringent laws, and Republic presence tends to be low. Part of this is due to how discouraged it is for their operatives to be made welcome, the first group of Republic agents exposed on board were promptly tossed out an air-lock and their vessel pressed into service as a patrol craft. As theres anywhere from one to nearly a dozen Dark Jedi aboard the station at any given time, it's been very difficult for the Republic to find out anything about the station. The d'Tana family's Jedi ties have been well buried from the general public, the members of the family appearing as very shrewd business men instead.

The Tana Consortium, while appearing independent, holds no illusions as to where they're overall loyalties lie. Coronada station, while outside of Brotherhood space, is ultimately a Brotherhood ran facility. All members of the d'Tana Family are aware of one ultimate fact on Coronada station, that ties to the Brotherhood can not be exposed. As such, regular security forces are enlisted to patrol and keep the peace. Scrutinizing background checks are made at the space dock facilities before any warm, or cold body enters the station proper. As of yet, no incidents have occurred to suggest that the true status of Coronada Station has been compromised.

==Appearance==

Coronada Station is, for the most part a large sphere, with an engorged equator. Spires extend from the polar 'north' and 'south', extending from blisters atop and below the spherical surfaces. Aside from the two blisters, the station consists of three primary levels. The upper level has a sub level as well, which will be explained further down.

==Spires==

The spires protruding from the upper and lower levels are covered in high powered sensor arrays, able to monitor the majority of the Charros IV system. At the base of each spire, just above the Command blisters are secondary deflector shield generators that cover the command blisters should the primary shields fail.

==Command Blisters==

The Command blisters, located at the polar extremes of the Station, are able to independently control the upper and lower hemispheres of the facility. Either control center can take complete control of the station should it be required, though this requires either special access codes or the shutdown of one of the command blisters. Generally speaking the access codes are held by the Consortium Lord, Barons, and Head of Security, as well as the Station Commander.

The control centers have total control of station systems, including but not limited to: life support, artificial gravity, weapon and shields.

==Top Level, Primary==

The Primary upper level consists of various lodging facilities, some ran by station personnel, some by private firms that have rented out space. Dining facilities, ranging from spacer grease spooners to upscale restaurants for the wealthier clients of the Consortium. Various entertainment facilities, from the cheap and quick to the expensive and refined also occupy this level. Below is the hangar level, and directly above is the upper sub-level, or Family quarters.

==Top Level, Secondary==

The Secondary upper level is secure access only. Family facilities and housing are located on this level, and except for invited or privileged personnel, the only people with entry are d'Tana Family members.

Things concerning this area will be expanded over time as Family members add their own touches.

==Hangar Level==

Filling out the engorged equator of the station, is the space dock facilities. Split into several areas, including a public hangar bay, private and family controlled bays. In the center, ringing the central superstructure of the station, is an open air market. Surrounding this are security checkpoints at the entry point of each of the three hangar bays. The open air market is simply that, multiple vendor stalls that are rented out for a small monthly fee. This allows an area for open, legitimate trade of general supplies.

==Lower Level==

The lower level is divided into three primary areas. The first and most notable, is the Arena area, consisting of training and lodging facilities, as well as a large battle arena. This stadium like structure is a large open area, surrounded by seating areas for spectators and bettors. The open area, being the battle field for various styles of fights, is surrounded by force fields to prevent harm to the crowd. It has been tested up to the point of concussion missiles without breaching, so unless sabotage, the crowds are perfectly safe. The arena is frequented by all goers that land on Coronada, with special box seats and such for high rollers.

Maintenance makes up about a third of the area, with a security checkpoint leading into it. Any of the primary systems for the Station are located in this area. The final area, which is quite possibly the busiest portion of the entire Coronada Station. Considered the 'closed' market, most of the trade in this area is NOT legitimate like the open markets on the hangar level. If you want just about anything considered 'illicit' or blatantly illegal, theres a good chance you can find it here.

==Defenses==

The Station is well defended, with heavy turbolasers flanking the hangar port entries, standard turbolasers and laser turrets ringing the upper and lower regions. Shield generators are based around the equator, with auxiliaries placed on the hull of both upper and lower regions. Shield generators are military class, and are estimated to be able to stand up to a full bombardment from a ''Destroyer-class'' for up to twenty minutes before failing.

Shien

Shien is a form of Lightsaber Combat, using reverse grips, and often [[dual lightsaber]]s or a [[saber-staff]].

== Explanation ==

The variant form known as Shien is a rarely seen style that, while effective, is almost a topic of controversy among lightsaber masters due to the drastically different grip taught by practitioners of the form. The style calls for the Jedi to hold the lightsaber horizontally with the tip of the blade out away from the body, and all strikes are made by sweeping the arm forward as though throwing a punch while whipping the blade forward quickly in a broad arc.

Shien originated back in the early, violent days of the Old Republic. Formulated as yet another style to combat the enemies of the Jedi, this violent art was quickly thrown to obscurity once the Jedi Council discovered the way that this form would lead astray their knights. Kept alive by historians among the order, it was generally only taught to those who would not likely see combat, and risk the fall to the Dark Side.

Adi Gallia was one of the few Jedi around the time of the Clone Wars known to actively practice the form, as was the Anzati Jedi called Nikkos Tyris. With their deaths, so too did Shien's practices die to the Jedi.

The Dark Brotherhood rediscovered this lost art, cataloged in a holocron, several years ago, and have been gladly teaching the aggressive style to their most eager students. The overly violent methodology, combined with the forms contempt for defense make it a natural for the Dark Side Jedi of the Brotherhood.

=== Grip ===

Held backwards, the hand is clenched in a fist around the saber hilt, with the blade extending away from the body.

=== Stance ===

The Shien Practitioner will bring their hands up, so that their saber blades emit down and away from their body, turning slightly off square to their opponent.

=== Striking ===

The Shien slash is delivered much like a typical punch, but with a flexing of the wrist at the last second which tilts their knuckles inward, bringing the blade to bear very rapidly upon their target. This style of attacking often will confuse saberists unfamiliar with the form, and that confusion is taken advantage of by the Shien practitioner.

=== Defence ===

Shien's methodology of holding the saber, unfortunately wreaks havok on it's defense. With the alignment of the blade, the time it takes to bring the sabers to cover their vulnerable body from blaster bolts is far too long. Against another saberist, the Shien practitioner still does well, in that their constant attacks often leave their assailant no opportunity to do anything but defend themselves.

==Requirements==

A student wishing to study Shien must have first mastered the fourth circle of [[Djem So]] and have a dexterity of 15 or higher.

If a student of Shien has mastered the style of [[Shii-Cho]] (5/5), they may begin training in [[Dual Lightsabers]] for this form. Students of Shien that have not yet bothered to master Shii-Cho do not have access to these techniques.

If a student of Shien has mastered the [[Soresu]] and [[Djem So]] forms, they may begin specialized Shien [[Double bladed lightsaber]] techniques.

== Reverse Grip Duelling ==
The use of an inverted grip is a rare but effective means of outsmarting and overpowering an opponent. It essentially sacrifices all forward defence for speed and wide striking attacks. The technique is particularly useful against multiple opponents. It was the basis for much of the Shien form but was also common among other circles.

While not requiring any particular or special variation in the lightsaber itself it was not uncommon for practitioners of this technique to make use of curved hilts. The added angle of the blade often gave adherents a considerable advantage and more range to their swings. The reversed grip forgoes virtually any forward deflection and parrying ability in order to focus purely on offense. Many adherents also incorporated conventional blades on their hilts in order to both punch, and stab, as well as strike with the lightsaber blade itself. The reverse grip was also often combined with Jar'Kai in order to confuse an opponent with a mixture of backhanded and offhanded attacks.
